There also seems to be A LOT of angles to take. Little posts, pots, ramps, etc. I'm curious how utility will define the map.

I think they could easily add maybe 5-6 new maps a year, then recycle them. It's been so long since the last big event on CS, but I remember the community map releases, which were always so much fun. Valve could also maybe select the most popular from an even like that and add it to premiere mode too. I find it refreshing that Ancient and Anubis are there over Dust 2. I do feel like they need to add Train/Cache/Cobblestone and/or some of the other maps into just Competitive servers.

I understand where you're coming from but the quality of this map is incredible. I'd like to think valve can find a balance of simple and decorated maps to have in their game 🙂

It being in competitive shouldnt be dictated by people with shitter PC's. If you can't run it, then don't queue for it in comp. People shouldn't be held back with your out of date gear. You'd have a point if you said Premier, in which case, I agree. Premier maps you have less of a choice and it would dissuade people with weaker builds from playing Premier, but you said competitive.

@@Scyborg832 competitive means being played competitively aka premier and faceit. I have a 360hz monitor, I can run all maps at 400-500fps except for Ancient, the worst optimized map in cs history. Where It can dip to even around 180fps. I understand that you don't play this game to a high level, so don't throw around your casual player opinion. Also the map has just way too many small props and just clutter all around, making it an eye soar.

@dudarsky Competitive means competitive. Active duty is what you're referring to. I've been playing faceit since 2016 and have been playing CS for nearly 10 years. Stop with the pretentious bs. Faceit in of itself is not a "high level." It can be accessed by literally everyone. You're making yourself look like an ass. Also lmao at getting a 360hz monitor.

@@dudarskyit should be your settings or config that is ruining the fps.. I have no issues playing that map, smh.. so idk how you have 500+fps and then ancient is the only map leaving you down to 200..

@@auto1nfanticid3​​⁠ Did you read what I said though Ilios wouldn’t work in cs it would be the worst CS map ever and plus the fact it’s literally copying real life architecture so being like this map looks like this other map is so dumb because these maps are based on real life places not in each other it’s like saying this cs map looks like call of duty like wow both video games are inspired from real life in real life and fence so they take place in real life to a certain degree and they look somewhere that means the ass must’ve copied the fuck out of Call of Duty®

@@auto1nfanticid3 no it doesn’t though if you actually compare the Maps you’ll see that they don’t look the same they just have similar edge architecture and the whole map structure is completely different and so to compare them is so stupid the only thing they have in similar is a cliff an ocean and the fact that it takes place in a place that looks like this and it’s so stupid to be like overwatch looks like this it’s like saying wow Kings Row looks like a London so now no one can make of London-based map because I will be copying overwatch overwatch just looked at in London and make me a map on it that doesn’t mean it looks like another game with London and then it just looks like a London so it’s so stupid to be like I see this game that looks like Switzerland but there’s other game that looks like Switzerland so that means these games look the same no they don’t they look like Switzerland they don’t look like each other they look like the thing they’re being based off of
