Flamelurker Boss Fight Guide - Stonefang 2-2 - Demon's Souls Remake [4k HDR] 

I've managed to get to the final third with this boss and then he just goes wild and obliterates me. Just had to switch it off as I will have a nervous breakdown! :D

PURE MELEE STRATEGY Was running pure STR build (Bastard Sword) and beat him on 2nd try. Was easier than expected as his moveset is quite predictable and limited, especially if you have fought other SoulsBorne bosses with more complex movesets and crazy hitboxes. Throughout the fight, he mainly does a two-hit combo 1)Uppercut, One-arm Smash 2)One-arm Smash, Uppercut For the Uppercut, its easy enough to avoid by just dodge rolling away. For the One-arm Smash, you want to either dodge roll backwards or backstep (depending on your proximity). DO NOT DODGE ROLL TO THE SIDE as you will still be in the hitbox due to the fiery impact. You want to bait out this two-hit combo and punish him after the second hit. Maybe with a two-handed R2. DO NOT GET GREEDY however as he normally retaliates with an Uppercut after you hit him so be prepared to dodge roll away after you land your hit. He also periodically does a Two-arm Smash which does AOE damage in front of him so don't get caught in it. It also ignites the ground, which probably also burns you. If you can get behind him whenever he does this to punish him, good for you. I just avoided it completely as I thought it was abit risky to punish since he recovers from this animation relatively quickly. And of course the most telegraphed and punishable move from him is the pouncing attack. He will growl distinctively, crouch down then spring up and toward you to smash down. You want to roll forward and under him to get behind him (this is easier to do than it sounds) and then you can get a nice clean hit in from behind. And thats really about it, rinse and repeat. As his health goes down he does get more aggressive but his moveset is pretty much the same. BONUS TIP Having Adjudicator's Shield and Regenerator's Ring equipped gives you good constant health regen that allows you to worry less about health and focus on the fight. OVERALL Be patient. Be observant. Punish accordingly. DO NOT GET GREEDY. If you make a mistake, stay calm, find the right time to heal and then continue. DO NOT PANIC DODGEROLL/HEAL. You can do it.

Hey fellas , a very good tip against Flamelurker for you guys would be ( If you're a Magician or a Royality Class ). I started as a Royality Class.... What you wanna do is , either have whatever weapon you preffer as ( But the best as a Royal class or Magician is to either go Rapier with +3 or +4 with the Spell Enchant Weapon or just Sticky White Slime at most parts... Another very good weapon i used was the Cresent Falchion +2 or +3 as it's already a Magic weapon which also gives you slight MP Regen "Stacks with Fragrant Ring too" ). The Cresent Falchion +2 or +3 or even if you got it to +4 , it's an Un-Buffable weapon... However , you should buy the Spell Water Veil ( *Water Veil is a Buff that can be purchased by Sage Freke's Apprentice only for 500 Souls* ) If you got this Spell/Buff you could buff your Character for 45% Reduced Fire Damage for about 40 seconds , this makes Flamelurker soo much easy if you keep getting Hit frequently ( Basically you could Tank instead of 2 Hits , to 3 or 4 Smash hits from this Boss ). As Flamelurker's most damage comes from Fire actually rather than Physical , also the Wizard Set that you got from both Classes is quite not that Strong resistant to Fire but Magic mostly. This should Help alot. *Note* : If you managed to Defeat Fool's Idol before facing Flamelurker at Tower of Latria 3-1... Free Sage Freke , as he gives you powerful Spells from Boss souls ( *The Soul Ray spell is really strong against Flamelurker rather than Soul Arrow , this spell Soul Ray is learned by trading Fool's Idol Soul to Sage Freke when you rescue him from the Tower Cells... Which then he returns to the Nexus* ). This route with learning Soul Ray , makes Flamelurker also much more easier as Soul Ray deals very good Magic Damage against him , But if not just stick with the Water Veil buff spell learned from either Sage Freke or his Apprentice as it's really useful giving your Player much more defense against Fire attack ( 45% Fire damage reduction exactly for 60 Seconds... that is really good ) 👌🏼

I can’t use the enchant magic in a crescent falchion +1. Just nothing happen when I try to use. Do you know why? I’m level 43 btw...

This boss was super relaxing if you have patience, poison/death cloud, and the cloak spell. Managed to cause the AI to lose sight of me so he just went idle. So rocked up to him and poisoned him, then walk back to my hiding spot and waited till I needed to recast the poison/death cloud. 20 minutes later while I surfed the Internet he was dead 😂😂

Why is everyone playing on lock on. Don't all you need to do is play unlocked and just keep running not rolling he becomes super easy.
