Flames of War FTW: How To Use Transports & Tows! 

Always enjoyed these two. They got me into FoW 10yrs ago and I still enjoy watching them while painting and playing even today.

Once again you guys have produced a really good episode. You guys are my inspiration for FOW. Thanks guys FLAMES OF WAR FOR THE WIN. ^_^

I can sorta see why Warren isn't a massive fan of towed guns, but the whole limbering/unlimbering process I actually find really fun. It's one of the most fun parts of playing an artillery carriage heavy Death Korps of Krieg list to me :D

you guys got me into FOW, thanks so much! i love the game and have watched all of your videos. i love the game play videos, it helps so much. just need more units to build and paint so i can get two armies together to play a friend.

I've transports on the way for my Bolt Action Brits. Different games but the reasons to have transport are the same :o)

appreciate the run through guys, always great to see it played out before I'm in a live game figuring it out. One thought on the points, for Germans frequently, points for transports (guns) are often only 5pts, kinda cheap. Though I realize some lists may be literally maxed before adding them.

Epic game. I finally got myself in after I saw these videos. Just starting US armoured from Remagen and some generic jerrys.

Amazing video. I've always loved the half track models but I could never get them around without them getting popped before they can do anything interesting.

Our group rejected V4 that came out in 2017. V4 changed it into a simpler amd more tourney balanced game. One thing they eliminated in V4 was transport vehicles and towing. We play an enhanced V3.2 in SoCal.

German half tracks still have to fall back from five hits, just like infantry. I don't know how they can get something this basic wrong, you would think that they would read up on the rules when demonstrating them in a video. I still enjoy these videos, I just wish that the rules mentioned were actually correct so I could stop worrying about getting my rules knowledge worsened by watching these videos.

Those do sound like decent strategies. I've been pretty curious about this game since I saw it in my friendly local games shop, but haven't had the money to add another wargame to my repetoire (nor convince friends to do the same).

i was interested in FOW when i came down to Grumpy Con and had a talk with Templarscrusade01 about his British but i ended up going to Bolt Action due to the people i was talking to and the funds available at the time but more and more i see these videos more it slowly pulls me over, the reason been you can have a major fight in FOW and the break things down to skirmish level in Bolt Action. would make for a really cool campaign.

The point of placing a unit whete they never shoot is that it forces the enemy to move into anothet area that is where they are at a disadvatagge. Force them into a kill dack. Make them gey bogged. Or clears a path to where you can advance wout enemy interference.

It'd be awesome to get a starter set. FoW and Infinity are the only games that seem to interest me right now. When yall do these raffles, I take it it's only one, correct?

Still saving money for my army list, its looted panzer comp, so mostly french tanks, all of my tanks are anti infantry with armor to distract tanks while my aa guns, anti tank guns, and artillery weak havoc on them allowing my marders and infantry to get in and kill em all.

never knew little soldiers were complicated.

Bolt action or flames of war decisions, decisions.

Very useful video thanks. One problem though guys, I don't know who puts your captions up but please smack them around the head with a dictionary as they clearly cannot spell. Such bad errors makes your channel look very amateur which is a shame. I remember that this happened before. You can't have captions up with things like 'ment' instead of 'meant' - it's bad form and makes you look cheap.

Sooo many incorrect rules in these videos. Whats the point of making a rules video if you have only a half arsed understanding of them? Only thing worth a poop is the know your enemy sections. Your just spreading misinformation.
