So with this software package, I can program the ECM without dealership software The subscription from the dealer. For my future reference in case I might need this.
Hi so what actually happens when you flash the PCM? Does the vehicle return to factory settings (radio station settings will be deleted, trip data/mileage will be deleted?) or is that something different?
If you're familiar with drivers for your windows pc. It's similar, it simply updates the "driver" for your car's motor. In some cases some pcm stored values can be reset
