You must have never driven an automatic. It took me a minute to get used to it just because of muscle memory, but I never want to go back to a manual. It makes driving in traffic so much more tolerable.

They make automatic cause the majority of new buyers aren’t able to drive a manual so it don’t make since for ke worth and everyone else to keep so many manuals in stock
I’m a company driver for tmc that trailer should have a dump valve on it already but it’s on the last axle it lifts up just enough off the ground to change the pivot points not sure if that will help with that front axle lift but there’s a system already there that can be used or repurposed
I think if you’re over the road and you see a lot of mountains you might be better off with a manual but if you do a lot of the shorter loads, lotta cities automatic is the way to go
