Love it! Sub scribeD!!! My Z needs cooling, but 8+ years and 93k miles and it's still going strong!! Hotchkis $150 front swaybar was easily the best money spent on it besides tires!
Great setup, you can tell from the video what a great difference the Nismo 1.5 does and that 4 Final has you on the money at this track. Found it fascinating that you're running a squared setup since you dont see many doing so and the stiffer front bar just keeps the rear exactly where you want it. Props on the driving, you seem to dominate that trans tremendously granted the 4.08 will have that shift arm doing work! great video!
I’ve seen a lot of your videos and I’m super impressed by your driving, and without a question your 370Z is a beast. As a 350Z driver, and mine is modified and track-dedicated Z, I can only continue to work and aspire to drive as aggressively, confidently, and proficiently as you do. Question: how many cameras do you have set up on track?
Great car with a talented driver. I noticed your rear end having trouble getting the power to the ground, 42sec. What diff are you running? I invested in Quaife and it's so much more linear than before.
Which brake duct vents You have installed in yours 370z nismo front bumper ? I can't find it anywhere on i-net please man answer me they are the only one which looks incredible
Visible cut outs in the front bumper are for dual oil cooler set up, brake ducts are more to the centrer. Check out my thread on 370z forum to see exactly what's what: www.the370z.com/members-370z-gallery/137052-2017-nissan-370z-nismo-trackday-clubsport-gt-2.html
What oil cooler setup do you have? I have a 2010 370z and it gets up to 115F (47C) where I live and my oil cooler just isn’t good enough. I don’t track it or drive it hard, but the oil temps creep up to 260F (127C) on especially hot days. Any suggestions on what I should do?
I invested a lot in cooling, check the video description, but car still runs hot way too fast. Vented hood is next on the list, hopefully that will help
You installed an oil cooler and you still get up to 260 on hot days with normal driving? My 19 nismo doesn’t go above 215-218 in FL with normal driving so something is definitely wrong there.
Awesome video. I just subscribed. Is this a Nismo, or a Fismo? You have the badge on the rear, but not the Nismo badge on the front bumper, which is why I’m confused.
Yes, air ducts for dual, side mounted oil coolers. More about it here: www.the370z.com/members-370z-gallery/137052-2017-nissan-370z-nismo-trackday-clubsport-gt.html
Unfortunately I don't have a comparison with OS Giken, but I'm very happy with the nismo diff. It's consistent, reliable and very intuitive in its characteristics.
I recommend starting with oil cooler, stiffer sway bars and adjustable control arms for wheel alignment. Also stuff like proper LSD, stiffer suspension and shorter Final drive helps a lot.
@@HaHa-gy5vg thank you, wish you a good luck with your build. Something to keep in mind for the future, is that stock ABS in our cars can get extremely faulty in race conditions. You have to be very gentle in the braking zones, otherwise you will experience dreadful ice mode abs
@@nismo_zeta Sounds like at this point you are making this car a track only oriented car. It's a shame the factory ABS has the strange behavior that it does. Great to see you got all these things working so well.
@@nismo_zeta My Z sits in my garage more than I drive it! Glad to see someone really drive the Z the way you do. Keep it up! I always look forward to seeing your videos.
@@chadhunley5892 Sorry to dig up an old comment but I'm looking at getting one of these and haven't heard about this odd behaviour of the factory ABS. Can you share some details about what it does wrong?
wrong suspension, absolutley wrong wheel/tire choice! But the Z did a good job! Its insane how this car fights against drifting, Nissan realy create a good job, a 350z would be drifitng in the most parts of this track!!
Yes, I agree. I don't longer drive on Cup 2, now it's either Nankang AR-1, Pirelli Trofeo R or slicks. Also I just picked up new custom made 3 way coilovers, KW V3 was not suited for track use. Here is a picture. Almost twice as stiff spring rates as before ibb.co/MB86tPB
