My biggest hot take on overwatch is the characters who take “no skill” or the characters who are arguably pretty “meh to bad” in the right hands can be a fucking god and carry the team by themselves

Overwatch barely has any stuns anymore yet there are some that can't wrap their mind around such a thing. Tbh being a newer player to OW I didn't really mind the stuns that remain in the game. I haven't felt overly oppressed by stuns and any time I get caught with my pants down it's 99% my own fault with positioning. When I'm on top of things it's pretty easy to just dodge most of them. Even now with the new doomfist, it's been fun baiting the rocket punch and dodging out of the way and watching them fly off into nothing.

My hot take is that when mercy pulls out the glock, her staff heals/boosts a small area around her depending on what it was when she put it away. Probably for a smaller percent of what it did before

I might be an idiot but I do feel like sometimes with the new push mode that players do push too far ahead when we should be pushing the robot. If you just have one or two on the robot the enemy team can take some side route and take over the robot while there are 3-4 team members scouting way too far ahead off in la-la land and this sometimes even happens with old payload maps to the point where the team is pushed so far up that almost no progress is being made on the cart before the enemy respawns again. It seems like people really can't find the right balance.

Flats, I'm ngl I agree with Orisa's whole kit being able to counter reinhardts whole kit *FOR THE MOST PART* had to emphasize that, because he can block 2 of her abilities and her ult. However, fortify is just busted I don't have to explain how it counters his kit, jav spin blocks firestrikes, knocks back, and blocks melee forcing rein to shield to block the knockback. And the javelin spear ability can put reinhardt in tough positions. Including things like Orisa using fortify to block shatter, then using either of her javelin abilities to knock him back from killing or to block his abilities and damage. Or using Javelin spin to create space between reinhardt and her teammates. There's a lot more orisa can do to Reinhardt SPECIFICALLY compared to most characters that does make her extremely affective against him. That's all I have to say. Edit: Btw, orisa is better than reinhardt but only by a smidge pretty much.

i actually agree with orisa hard counters rein , her spin stops fire strike and can control where he is, her lock down stops her from being stunned/ shattered and her jav stops charge and shatter. not to mention she can break shield from a range. im not defending the guy but i do agree with the rein counter

I don’t think the last guy was gaslighting at all. The more attention and interaction brought to his bad advice the more people will hear his bad advice. He can’t make people interact with his video. I’ve seen Hanzo arrows with really slow travel speeds sometimes. Like I’m 15 meters away and it takes a full second before it lands. I think they could stand to buff the arrow flight speed.

honestly about orisa one thing. U might think that i am bronze mind, but whenever i use tip "Just kill the supports" its just very hard for example i was playin on hog. Anhd whenever i got a hook i imediately got spear, or if she doesnt have it she uses her swirly swirly power to protect from hooks. Also why she can block hooks with it butt not a damn rock on sigma. The only time when i actually did something was when i were playing sigma and using rock aganst swrily ability and actually almost won, but i dont think that it can work for all bsituations since she has an ability that makes her unstunnable. This what makes me mad about her. She is very good with peeling if her team is near. It was nearly impossible for me to play especially against orisa and kiriko.

"If hanzo lands the first HS on Orisa, and then Orisa goes in further and goes gold, Hanzo can use his tiny movement ability but still die to Orisa. Hanzo has no counterplay to Orisa." Then the counterargument is someone saying an ideal situation where the enemies do not use ability or shoot their guns, in super ideal situation.

As a (new to OW2) player, that one guy at like 5:10 had some awful takes. Personally I don’t like Moira’s range because I get killed to what seemed like an out of range Moira, but I’m also now good at the game, so I can see where veterans disagree. As an avid Hanzo player, (not a main I like playing other dos) Hanzo is fine where he’s at I think. He doesn’t need the buffs dude was talking about

Junkrat, the "no skill" character according to the enemy team if you're doing well on him, but he's the hardest in the game if an enemy is playing him like crap. The truth is that in low elo Junk players can contribute enough to a fight by mainly spamming because people are just running around all over the place and won't actually try to deal with him unless they're a Genji who will just rush him down and probably die to martyrdom. To be a great Junkrat player though, and to excel at higher elos you actually need to know how to aim his shots (which is not easy given the arcing), combo your shots with mines to 1 shot dps/supps, understand your movement techs to so you can get into good positions and keep yourself from being dived, and learn how to bring your rip tire in from bizarre angles because people will actually try and shoot it unlike in low elo. In other words at low level's he's easyish to play decently, though you're probably coin flipping more than anything. At high levels he takes skill to produce a consistent impact on the outcome of the game.
