i rewatched the bit with the little girl going feral with that axe like fifty times, it was so funny and good and amazing.

It is crazy how the same company can continue to make amazing cinematics, but fail to maintain a game they have been working on for years.

As someone who is hearing and fell in love with American Sign Language, I love seeing it anywhere in the game Like Winston’s “my name is” emote. Almost makes me want to cry seeing it, makes me so happy

Say what you want about the litany of issues with Activision Blizzard and all of the problems we had with Overwatch 1, the animation and writing team deserve a huge amount of credit for all of the cinematics, the quality of the animation in them and the world they've built.

It's great to see how many people say the same thing: "If Blizz made a Netflix series of Overwatch...". Given the quality of all of their cinematics, I sincerely hope they do as well. Though, as many have stated already, it couldn't be of the same quality because of the time and money it would take to create. A great RU-vid mini-series that offers amazing insight on what it takes to bring such a show to life is "Arcane: Bridging the Rift". It's a great watch that will make you appreciate the show even more also!

I think that the reason they don't make longer versions is the budget. They probably have a very high cost(and the quality shows) and aren't willing to add more. Considering the falling outs of OW recently, I'd imagine that it's rather low on their priority list. But yeah, it's been years that the animation quality is out of this world and a series would be killer.

A show for over watch with the same animation, would be awesome. And maybe even single player games for the characters(like past missions, or new ones. Just to get a good feel of all the characters and how they interact with each other). They could really do sooo much with overwatch, but in my opinion I feel like they're just sitting on all this potential.

As much as we’d all love a movie like this, I don’t think it’ll ever happen. The animation quality alone must be insanely expensive so a show like that would either be insanely expensive or would just not live up to the quality of these shorts.

I still think the Blizzard Cinematic team doesn't get enough respect from the industry. Their animated shorts are every bit as polished and entertaining as anything that Pixar or DreamWorks has put out. I still think Dragons should have won the Oscar for best animated short (AFAIR it wasn't even nominated).

Whats funny is the granpa looks like my grandfather, when i watched this seeing him get hurt and shot made me cry, i thought of my grandfather and like later down the line he ended up in hospital sadly, not for a shot like the animation but from breaking his spine from a truck, hes healaing all good now thou just crazy he looked like my granfather and then lalter on my real grandfather got hurt😢

Man people have been saying for years that blizzard should do an animated movie/series and they just don't do it. Surely they KNOW what a moneymaker that'd be :_: I'll take anything, OW, starcraft, warcraft, diablo. Their animated cinematics have always been top of the line. Just do it blizzard

CDPR has talked about what a massive surge in popularity the Witcher and CP2077 had thanks to Netflix shows. So while it is a big undertaking it seems there's a good return on investment for a well done show.
