Kanika Garal for someone to be an hourglass they would have to have around the same shoulder and hip measurements you don’t need to have a “popping booty” as you put it 😂 I’m sure you could have gotten your point across without body shaming
Apple body types actually look really nice in fuller skirts as they add volume to their lower half that can help balance out the fullness that they have up top with the broader shoulders and fuller bust, and they don't accentuate the tummy as much. A nice circle skirt or a cute pleated skater skirt would've looked nice on lana as well.
I was thinking they would do a pleated one as well. Something about that structured leather really helped accentuate her apple shape and show off her legs!
I was thinking this too. Between the material and the sheen, it drew a lot of attention there. She looked great, but they accentuated the exact part she said she hated. So idk what the vast improvement was.
@@Yolzee91She was much nicer than what not to wear and i think she let people stay more true to themselves. Clinton and Stacey had great personal style but didn't have any of their guests keep theirs. They all ended up more or less the same.
I think she really loves her look but just been soooo anti skirts that even though she feels sexy in it, it’s still taking her body time to adjust to it because she’s so used to hiding her tummy or feeling insecure about it..hence why at one point she had her hand covering it. She definitely felt freeing though I know that feeling! More power to her 💜💜💜💜
I always said I would NEVER wear a strapless wedding dress.......and I did!!!! And I loved it!!! Some people said they didn't like seeing a plus size girl in a strapless, but I WORKED IT!!!

I'm really not trying to be a hater. I love Lana and I'm built almost identical but that outfit is not at all flattering to her body type or frame at all. Her problem area (and mine) is the tummy and a skin tight high wasted pencil skirt literally just accentuates your tummy. I'm glad she feels confident! but there are better options for our body type if you want to hide or minimize your tummy.
I agree, I have the same body type - she could do a high waisted black leather pleated skirt in mid calf length... that would have still looked awesome with the top
The skirt looked awesome on her! I think she could’ve gone up one size if she really wanted to conceal because leather skirts can be tight or she could’ve kept the size and worn some shape wear! But either way that skirt looked great on her in my opinion!!
Me too honestly. I also love the fact that Adrienne shows different women of different ethnicities and shapes. That gives every woman an opportunity to see that we can still be confident and beautiful in our own skin.
I love that there is such a range of body types yet all of them look healthy (to me at least), it's very empowering! All these girlies are radiant and gorgeous!!!!
Taysha skin tone is gor- geous and she has a beautiful smile. I love her confidence her appearance. I am in a skirt approximately 99% of times. I get compliments the most when I wear A line skirts but they are the least comfortable, so I do not wear them frequently.
I have not wore a skirt in over 2 years but honestly I I’m 5’4 and it’s hard to find a skirt I think that is flattering on me but I’m so glad Adrienne has this episode because it gave me some hope !!!!!

I love how Ade hypes up all her friends! You need that one friend who is your hype woman! The robes are gorgeous too; I loved the love skirts they were too cute. Grace’s skirt is appropriate at a fashion house, or fashion magazine; definitely good for a night out.
All the matching robes are so cute! Lana looks so good in that outfit. The one thing I thought I couldn’t wear was a romper. Then I found the cutest one that flattered my figure. ❤️

Hahaaaa no Adrienne that slit is not ok for a normal office job. It’s amazing but you wouldn’t be taken seriously with your leg out. Definitely a night out outfit.
The styling of the body types was off, sadly! A's outfit would have be better carried by Taysha..she definitely has the legs for such an attention grabbing skirt and the frame to carry the cardigan. The cold shoulder turtleneck on Taysha's outfit was also a fail on her and drew the attention away from her killer legs. Taysha's outfit would look better on Lana because of her shape...the A line would have been much more flattering on her. Lana's outfit would look better on A.

Corporate America you definitely can’t wear a skirt with a high slit. I wore a simple pencil skirt (no slit) made out of leather that covered my knees and was still called into HR office.
Always hated skirts even at school,rarely wore a skirt but I tried one a few years ago & it felt and looked really good & since that time I'm a skirt wearer& lover.Let me say I'm now open to trying new fashion trends

My body type is almost exactly like Taysha and I never know what to wear to accentuate the parts that I like... But every time she comes out I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look and I gotta go get the pieces she's wearing!

It kept creasing right under her tummy and accentuating that area, that's probably why it didn't work as well as it could've if it were a different material or slightly different shape.
No, the skirt with the high slit is absolutely inappropriate to wear in an office. NOT-OFFICE ATTIRE. I can tell you never worked in an office environment.
Dolores Camarena girl there are so many kinds of flare though. Skirts don’t always have to be above the knee. I’d suggest at the knee or an in under the knee. I wear skirts all the time. I just feel so feminine in them. They make me happy. I don’t wear pencil skirts don’t look good on me. I like flowy skirts. Just gotta find your style and flare.

I’m so sorry but cooperate America isn’t ready for most of these skirts 😐 I dont understand why this is still happening to women but I was told that my pencil skirt showed too much hip. I was like excuse me ☝🏽 then I was told you know “you are built more like Serena than Naomi.” When covid is over we’re need to have a meeting because I have taken the time to read the dress code.

I like these type of content Adrienne, women with different body types. Even the one considered ideal, not average, has insecurities and it shows the human side of us and it reminds us to accept yourself and if you can change them when your ready and able too. Most of the outfits that was picked for Lana weren't flattering at all but I get that Adrienne wanted Lana to try new things. My guesses are that Lana wasn't that ''fashion forward'' and always wore things that were comfortable for her (probably always wore the same types of clothes).

What's wrong with size 10 that's like a medium or a large that's good or perfect. No too big neither too small. I'm size 8 or 10 and I like it. I prefer 10 😜 and I weight 120, what about you how much you weight? But I know also it depends the brand or the skirts'cause some runs small.
