Great question of the day. Though I feel Chris’ nuanced inquiries are valid, because if I was immortal like Vandal Savage (from DC comics)..then HELL YEAH!!! Typically if you’re immortal, the understanding is that you’ll live forever…you’ll heal from injury, no diseases, etc, but the downside is that you’ll see your love ones come and go because you’d outlaw I’ve everyone. I’d still say yes because I can build and amass a fortune that would also last you a lifetime and you could do some serious good with it. 🤷🏽‍♂️ However, if you’re immortal but still can suffer injury and not recover from it completely, then what’s the point really. 😆

Love this shoe. The gold laces make it pop but i wish they didnt have the satin sheen finish. But when i think immortal, i think of the movie death becomes her with Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis. They were all messed up after taking the potion. So no thanks to that 😂

First I was thinking yeah that would be great to be immortal as you wouldn’t have to fear death all your life, but then I thought you’d quite literally be even more scared of not dying if anything bad happened as you’d be screwed for eternity. Honestly as frustrating as it might be in the world I'd probably like to be immortal. Didn’t the Jordan 1 OG high black patent, Gold swoosh with a white midsole come out in April 2013? I remember it had a translucent gold outsole with gold glitter in it

These are so nice! Definitely will be copping sooner or later. Far as the question of the day. I would have to pass. We already deal with losing people but having to be immortal and outlive everyone over and over again is too much. It's definitely perks and cons but seeing humanity and all its flaws over and over again throughout the ages. Nah I'm good 😅

Once again, would like to start off by saying I really appreciate your reviews. Re: The Immortality Question, I would NOT. A good story for reference would be the Sandman comic book story by Neil Gaiman ("Men of Good Fortune", issue 13) where a dude named Hob Gadling made a deal where Death won't go for him. So he doesn't die, and lives for centuries, but even if you don't die, the world around you changes, so you would still be affected by whatever is happening around you: war, slavery, etc. There were points in time that Hob was living the life, rich and fortunate, but there were also points where he was living in poverty and he was scrounging for food (he mentioned that he feels starvation, but doesn't die, which to me would be totally awful). Also, and while he continues to live on, he is around for when people close to him (his wives/children) die. So a big NO for me.
