I watched it on Saturday night but yeah, listening to it brings me back to weekend nights in middle school, staying up late watching all my favorite shows
The first time I saw this animé I thought it was bizarre, but after re-watching it I love it. Especially Haruko and Naota, it is a shame the company that localized it in English went out of business.
Just finished this anime for the first time today, while imma need to rewatch it sometime to actually understand what the fuck is going on and maybe give it a higher rating then 8/10, I just gotta say this ED is the work of god
You definitely should watch it multiple times but don't expect to get much more out of it story wise. It's easily one of my favorite animes but a cohesive story isn't really something it provides. You'll hear the criticism that it's nothing more than an extended amv for The Pillows (the band that plays all the music). My response to that is "YUP. AND IT F***ING RIPS". The OST alone is worth your time to watch through the show.
@@cerealvapist333 I personally think there is enough symbolism for someone to sink their teeth into and great room for character/theme analysis but a cohesive plot????? nope
@evenobody5158 absolutely agree. You gotta be willing to dig deep into the subtext to get anything substantial out of it, but it's a worthwhile time investment. Or you can just enjoy the kick ass music and art. Either way you win!!!
