Here's my list of stories I want to see: -Chane: why did he send his apprentice (Vynnset) instead of going himself? -Viserai: what the hell is he doing in iArathael? -Dromai: is she gonna become the Empress and how the Aesir of Destruction sleeping under Mount Volcor affects her? -Dorinthea: now that she's used her Light power after the (death?) of Minerva, how does that affect the tides of war against Demonatery? -Prism: being shown as the leader of Solana's forces in DTD, how is she doing and what's her next step? -Levia: according to the last article, Blasmophet, Levia Consumed looks like the canon part of her demi-hero, is she still conscious inside Blasmophet? -Shiyana: as a member of the Gemini operatives what's her role in the current war and how close to Prism is she?
Flesh and Blood in general just needs more lore. For a game that is so focused on individual characters for the gameplay, you would expect there to be more story to drive people to play said characters. With Rosetta it seems like we're moving in that direction which is fantastic because I would prefer the game to not have 15+ heroes with only 6 paragraphs of story to draw from
I can certainly understand your desire to have the stakes be raised with potential character death, and I definitely agree that character death can be very impactful but only if it has appropriate setup. With the way things have been laid out a character death would have felt really inconsequential. Just dropping it in an article that is meant to celebrate the winner would have felt like an insult to the players who love the character that died. Now if they had said the character with the most points gets something and the character with the least points dies that would have created those stakes and it would have been a death everyone was anticipating and it would have been a big event. As it stands I was really happy with how they explored characters not killing each other, each one saying something about the world or the characters. Betsy is incredible but not willing to truly fight to the death because she doesn't care about victory at any cost, Olympia being saved by the tournament organizers because he's such a precious commodity, and of course Victor paying for his life. I especially loved Kassai letting Kayo live due to him being an unwilling participant. It was very interesting with how it tied into the teachings of her father and how she views taking a life, and her sense of honor. That she viewed Kayo as and intelligent being worthy of honor says a lot about her character. Especially when it's revealed that she injured herself in order to spare him.
What’s crazy to think is that there’s 100 marvel new moons, and those go for like 3k… there’s only 51 on of these CNC’s; and it’s a CNC. I can’t imagine what it’ll be worth
I, of course, pulled the legendary new moon, and legit stared at it for like a minute because of how disappointed I was. Like, very cool to give me a YOUNG hero as my legendary.
Kano's setup is so sick... what's he doing out there? Did he figure out what's up with Rathe's magic? Kano just smashed an LL event, give him some more love LSS. I love ideas like this
Definitely going towards the right direction. Letting players direct to where the lore goes is amazing! As a lore channel more story is always better. I also enjoy guessing where the lore is going to go with upcoming sets. Great video 👍.
They also can do a Story for a Hero as soon as that Hero reaches Living Legend, like a tale on how they bested their foes or achieved a goal set for them. There are possibilities.
It would certainly be interesting to tie story to actual event results, but it could be pretty difficult to do while maintaining an overarching story. Maybe if they had an oracle at LSS to know the future.
Surprised to hear my name whilst I'm just casually watching 😅 Everything you mentioned about Kassai is correct except she has been listed as a Volcai rather than a Dracai as her name follows the Volcai naming conventions (ai at the end of her name). It's weird because it's hard to tell if generals are Volcai or Dracai. My assumption would guess that it might be a similar situation to Dromai where Kassai's mother was Volcai and her general father was Dracai, meaning she herself would only be considered Dracai if assimilated into the Royal Court. Just a theory though!
Making these cool promos only available to the top .001% of players isn’t the way to drum up more players, imho, and that’s what the game needs to grow
@@FaB-Bear right but don't you think they're committing hard to that side already? What with releasing in Japan, reworking their entire new player product line, etc?
@@DMArmada They just gave these winners a $600 gold foil and a pro invitation, isn’t that enough? Good new player product is the bare minimum. The GenCon new player experience was a perfect start. They really need to create better ways to keep new players involved and provide an experience that doesn’t alienate casual players to keep this growth moving and to not waste the effort involved in attracting these players. Extra exclusive promos for 53 people is exciting for those 53 people and the whales that buy them. Those people aren’t going anywhere anyway
