I hear you and would absolutely love to provide one! To be honest, I have been very dissatisfied with cfmotos customer service. I have not been able to get anyone to call me back to include email, phone calls, and their Instagram. Not even a "no we won't let you test our machine for a video" simply zero contact. It's pretty unbelievable. Anyway, now I'm just ranking! I will keep working on it though, hopefully soon I can get a hold of someone that can help put me in contact with the right individuals.

As far as the axles we used something similar in off-road racing on the buggies . They were axles constructed front of material called "300M". The price is similar to what we paid about $650 per axle depending on the length.
@NavigateOffroad
@NavigateOffroad 5 лет назад
Interesting. Thanks for the info. Did they work well? Also, how much "flex" did it actually seemed like it had?
@FsticksRacing
@FsticksRacing 5 лет назад
Well I can't say that I could actually feel the flex. The shafts are very similar to torsion bars and with the length and thickness of the material there is actually very little deflection. After installing these shafts I never did have a problem with the splines getting ripped off and the CV joints lasted a lot longer.
@NavigateOffroad
@NavigateOffroad 5 лет назад
Interesting, thanks for the info. Bottom line is it sounds like they worked... At least for that purpose. I'm looking forward to seeing how well these actually work out!

I really enjoy King of the Hammers. I think I might try to make the trek out there someday. Also, the fact that they have the capability to live stream that event out in the middle of a 100 mile desert course is incredible! I have to scream at frontier on the regular just to keep my 3mb download at 2.88.:( It would be interesting to know more about those axles, and to see them stress tested.

Good point! I'm curious to know how flexible they actually are. I would think the amount of flex would determine how much the rider is affected. I would love to get my hands on a set to try them out!
@quaddingsous
@quaddingsous 5 лет назад
Those axles sound awesome! But, just curious . . . if the axle is twisting, it is storing energy until it can untwist, at which point it would release the energy with likely more force (faster rotation) than the original force it took to twist it right (simple physics). I hope the CV joint they have attached to those axles are engineered for that extra force. You'd think they would be right?, but what about the hub splines, bearings, lug nuts or even the differential that are factory original? I'm thinkin' . . . OUCH! - LOL - But don't worry, I'm sure SuperATV will build some stronger "other parts" to go with those SuperAxles for the low low price of only $44/month - HAHAHAHA. Excellent video as always buddy! Good info & really cool set! Oh, and the audio issue seems to be fixed - sounded great.
@NavigateOffroad
@NavigateOffroad 5 лет назад
Great points on opposing force... Even though the word simple and physics should never go together 🤣. And haha, I bet you're right on the extra parts to go with it and make sure it's solid... But what's another $44 a month times four right?! Thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate that. Glad to hear the audio seems to (slowly) be getting better.

1. That Acrtic Textron ordeal is a mess. They should have stuck by their decision to change the brand name. 2. Those axles are gunna be like 650$ per axle for Canadians, that's bonkers.....I think it's gunna take some time before we find out if these are the real deal or not, especially due to the fact that RHINO has not had a great past with axle quality (Not including the 2.0 axle line).....Great warranty tho. I would sure like a set.

@@theirishaxe9405 They do lots of R and D and their original rhino axles and the lifts suck lol It's no secret. I would also pay the price if I knew they were gunna last. SO I agree with you dude. I think they would work good with things like king of hammers and gncc racing. But other than that nothing but $$$!!
@NavigateOffroad
@NavigateOffroad 5 лет назад
I could see the value if you are an individual who is known to snap Axles, and this actually does the job to prevent that. I agree, they are pretty expensive! But if they work as advertised and you are not replacing near as many Axles, then I could see why people would make the switch.
@NorthCountryBoyz
@NorthCountryBoyz 5 лет назад
Ummm...I am going to pass on that price. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. If you have to make payments crucial parts beyond making payments on the machine itself....most likely you should not be involved in the sport. Granted, as you stated...we all come from different financial backgrounds. I personally prefer not having payments or loans with anyone or anything. Financially could I purchase a flexible axle? Yes. Will I actually make the jump? NO. I just can't justify the purchase. Unless there is a lifetime warranty on them! For now I will stick to the HighLifter DHT Axles. 1800 miles and no breakage.
@NavigateOffroad
@NavigateOffroad 5 лет назад
Right on brother! I agree, payments on parts is a bad idea. I love rising, but if you have to pay monthly for parts, you should just wait and save up your money until you are at a point financially to do the hobby (outside of the machine itself, I understand why some people do that).

The Arctic Cat/Textron venture is nothing short of a hot mess....and its dragging the snowmobile end down with it. Sorry...that's for another channel altogether. Anyhow....I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Am hoping you can make it into Michigans U.P. for a review at some point. The trail system is shared here....and makes for miles upon miles of great trails and scenery. Gas, food and lodging are of abundance....its a region that caters to the ATV'ers in the warm season....and snowmobilers in the winter. The businesses and trail clubs are committed to year round recreation for visitors as well as locals. Come for a few days. Bring the family. We have a little slice of heaven here. Room for tents or a camper. All the amenities including electric...water frontage with a swimming hole. Won't cost you a dime & we'd love to have ya.. We have a Cforce & a Uforce also...you wouldn't feel like an oddball on the trails.

Hey James, thanks for your input (and compliments?). We are actually hoping to make it to the U.P. This summer to ride. Any specific recommendations on best places to visit first? Any trails that stand out as being better and provide good lodging options?
@jimmydesperado2936
@jimmydesperado2936 5 лет назад
@@NavigateOffroad Actually yes. Obviously the west end of the U.P. is going to be much closer to you and cut down on your travel time. However, I do not visit that area of the state often enough to give much input or recommendation on trails....lodging or sights. I do have some experience with the mid or central region of the U.P. and the trails there. Namely the Munising, Whetmore, Gran Marais areas. Munising itself is a beautiful village right on lake Superiors south shoreline. It boasts many trails that go in all directions....including the Superior Bluff (historically known as Pictured Rocks). You can ride in any direction from Munising and trails are plentiful....scenic....and there are many fuel....watering and food stops within the system. The Seney area just to the south on Munising is a trail paradise. The trails are marked 8, 88 & 888. And are quite popular in the winter for snowmobilers....but also used in the warm months by ATV'ers. Each designated "8" trail...is in essence a loop....each one a bit larger than the other.....so choosing a trip length is basically all one needs to decide upon. In Munising...lodging, restaurants and Taverns are plentiful. Just keep in mind...this area is a heavy tourist area in the summer with the Pictured Rocks national Park within a stones throw....as well as many Lighthouses and Waterfalls in the area. Prolly best to make it a non holiday weekend venture....and of course plan and call ahead for reservations. Whetmore....a small cummunity just to the south of Munising (about 4 or 5 miles) boasts a nice unit abundant hotel as well as numerous cottage and cabin rentals...a Holiday station and fuel up store....theres even a powersports right in Whetmore in case you need parts, accesories or trail info. The owners there are topnotch and treat people very kindly. Whetmore also puts you closer to trail heads and trail access points. A google search of this area will turn up a lot of information on everything mentioned above. Best of luck....wherever you choose to go in Michigans U.P.....I cant wait to see your review.
