Nice information sir I was suffering from disc problem my therapist suggestede flexion exercises and my condion gets worst under 15days that physiotherapist was not trained well

Sir what if we prescribe flexion exercise to patient and after performing one of these exercise patient's pain starts increasing What should be done in this case? And another queation is if after one week of performing extension exercises if pain is not going then in this case can we start flexion exercises?

But sir ..Meckenzii protocol told as something different. It is1 extension protocol and 2 flexion protocol. Which position is centralizing sx then we will do that on pt and will prohibit another one. You told us here that will do such like sandwitch.

For posterior derangements, it is extension protocol followed by a cautious introduction of flexion exercises to prevent shortening of posterior soft tissues and a stiffened annulus fibrosus. So it is wise to now introduce flexion as a sandwich b/w extension exercises and finally progress to F-E-F protocol to maintain good health and flexibility of the back. I hope this answers your question. Some protocols are to be developed beyond the books through clinical experience and expertise.

Degenrative changes at l4 l5 and L5 S1 levels indenting the thecal sac not compressing the nerve roots. My mri represent this...what this means....is it curable....i m feeling heavy stiffnes and heavyness at my low back and hips area....but no pain Pls reply
