You have best of two options...you can have more batteries with you. You can have a battery with bigger capacity and you still have the option to charge using usb c.
I agree with your assessment. It really is great. But room for improvement, which I suspect will appear on the zero pump 2. I'm happy enough for now, though.
I think the older is better. Weighs a oz more but has a lantern. I make use of my lantern feature probably more then the actual pump. The no charging on the go seems silly. If you have to buy some special nightcore battery charger for it , I will pass unless the actual retail one has a light and real charging.
Use your headlamp for a light. Use a USB-C Rechargeable Battery. I like the design. Simple don’t need anything else to add weight and size to the pump.
Agree to a point. However, I like the fact that the older generation one had the light built in, which was nice to have a backup to the head torch .you know the old saying one is none, two is one.
I agree major downside was it falling off on the old one contstantly and the light is a useful extra, hopefully they will make a new one with usb c charging and a light
That looks an excellent pump. Must be their best yet. Not sure about the non-charging on the trail but if it does more than a few pumpups then that's okay if it makes it lighter. So at home the battery needs to be put in a separate charger? And it is so quiet. Very good. Thanks for the review. Cheers, Warren :)
approx. 20 "pumps" they tell me ! A separate charger is required (about £5) which I think was a shame that that built in along with even a small basic LED . Def quieter then my other one but still noticeable ! cheers Rob
