Aliasing is an interesting effect that can influence how digital systems perceive the world. Whether it be a microphone, camera, or an ADC, aliasing can be problematic. Let’s discuss how this effect occurs, and how we plan to fix it!

Hello, very educational video! Instead I was wondering hoe to create the flickering effect to recreate "fire" with a board RGBW. I looked up DMX controller but did not find it! any help?

Hi Alberto! That's an interesting question. If it's a simple strip (the entire strip is the same color), I'd expect that feature to exist on the controller, for example here's a discussion regarding the EOS family consoles: community.etcconnect.com/control_consoles/eos-family-consoles/f/eos-family/16012/flame-effect-on-nomad-eos It's likely best to drive this from the console so the look can be tuned and repeated! Otherwise, some RGBW tape drivers may have a special "fire mode" that is accessible via a special DMX channel. I hope this helps!
