I mentioned in the video that the gyro was interfering with the maneuvers, that is incorrect. The problem was that the LIPO I was using was not providing enough power to properly perform the maneuvers. The gyro in 3D Mode appears to just provide wind mitigation which one of the things I really like about this gyro.

I received this little bush plane today ..i like its potential...have not flown yet,but went through it to see what improvements i could make..the tail needed to strengthen, so i i ca a cf strip across the under side of tail...the elevator had a cf strip already installed..i made sure tail was perfectly straight than added more ca gel..rock solid now...i also used ca gel to coat the underside of ailerons...then i powered up and checked and control surfaces..made some manual adjustments and increased rates a bit and center all control services...i was surprised its 500mah is a bit smaller then my 2 400mah that power my micro echine..they sent me the blue instead of the red which i ordered,but all and all i am very happy with this plane...i plan on flying it friday...after 3 battery packs i will decide if i need to make other improves...Happy Flying!

Well i flew it in all modes today,but i had issues with radio shutting on and off by itself...many crashes in the grass..took me awhile to figure it out..used 3 different batteries in plane and even changed batteries in remote..finally after getting had i realized remote had a bad connection...real easy fix..took out 6 screws popped it open i saw only a small peice of tape was holding red wire on failed solder point...i then repaired and reinforced motor area with ca gel and some cf...one other thing i did was remove wing and cement it to fuse then tighted the screw..my wing was Boeing up which actually changed wing shape..epp foam is great but it is flimsy and needs some tweaks to make planes rock solid...plane is perfect now and should fly as good as possible I can't wait to fly it like i stole it tomorrow...i will post after i fly it..i am expecting it with fly like its on rails now...Happy Flying!

@@roadstar499 I haven't had something like that happen in quite a while. I used to always get FPV Cameras with at least one of the wires barely soldered and had to redo them. Good luck on your Re-Maiden!

Yes i pretty much fixed all the issues...i don't expect anything other than perfection now ..i have 4 micros now and had to make tweaks to all of them...great warm up planes before i fly my bigger ones...Btw...h650 land and sea pator..is incredible larger micro...not sure you ever flew...but its a blast...uses brushes and 2s 1000 pack.. i got mine on sale at bg a few months ago for $79..

So the bigger heavier battery also moved the cg slightly more forward ..plus i also have experienced less omf with those cheap 1s batteries..i think in your first video it did loops,rolls and spins very well using 500 stock battery...thanks for sharing.

Yes, the stock LIPO was much better than the old ones I have. I may try one of my smaller ones that can provide more amps.

I also have some pretty old 600mah plus 2 400 mah i use in my micro eachine t28...so thats like 6 batts..even weaker batteries are good for basic flying and touch and goes anyway,which should be fun with this little bugger.Happy flying

If you know how can you make a video showing how to connect this receiver to a to a radiomaster TX16s through the provided 2 ports for futaba and dsm and if the radiolink byme -A gyro can be used in this configuration.....I'm still not clear on this Sbus thing.... I'm new to this hobby and the wiring configurations aren't all that clear for this particular set up....can't find any wiring diagrams online to show the process of wiring connections.

Unfortunately, I just don't have enough free time to produce a video for every aspect. SBUS / PPM Receivers simply use a single wire connection for all channels as opposed to a traditional RX which has a connection for each channel. So SBUS / PPM Receiver are handy for connecting to a gyro like the Radiolink Byme Gyros. If you use the link I provided for this plane and look at the product page and select the "Show More" button you'll find a diagram of the board with the location of both the 3v and 5v ports. The ports provide external SBUS / PPM Receiver connection, not for external gyro connections. The pin order may not be consistent from board to board so a multi-meter is you friend and should be in your RC Toolkit. Binding up to the TX16S with an RX of your choice for this plane is the same for any plane and RX that is supported by the TX16S. I've produced many beginner videos though and if you look through our extensive playlist for all kinds of components and planes you'll find information that will be helpful for most aspects of the RC Hobby.

@@GroundControlRC Thanks for the reply GC....I'll look thru the vids to see what I can find. I can get the Radiolink R8EF to bind all by itself but not with the byme A inline per the diagrams from Radiolink....I'm sure it's something simple I'm not doing right.

I'm trying it 2 ways....1 connected to a qidi 3d plane that has the 5V and 3V plug and 2 I'm trying to bind the Radiomaster R8EF and the Byme A in a new plane with new ESC and servos.

My Qidi560 plane does somersaults on its own. Even if I open my heart and call and don't press the somersault mode, is there a way to fix this?

I'd be interested if you decide ro upgrade/ swap out the motor....as mine stalled uncontrollably. Nose dived and broke the motor shaft!!!!!! Sad face.😢
