BEING A GOOD FLIGHT ATTENDANT IS ALL ABOUT TEAMWORK
This video is presented by SAS and is about flight attendant training and flight safety. All flight attendants and pilots working for SAS have to go on a flight attendant training school every year. At the flight attendant training school both flight attendants and pilots are trained in handling specific situations onboard the aircraft, such as emergency landing and errors in cabin pressure.
When training those exact situations, a so called mock-up is used, which has an aircraft interior very similar to a real one. Inside the mock-up, sounds and smoke effects can be added, so the training session gets more realistic to the flight attendants and pilots.
When training the specific situations, flight attendants and pilots don’t know what is going to happen. They just know, that their job is to handle the situation perfectly through teamwork and following standard procedures.

But please note, if you wish to work as a cabin crew at SAS, a yearly flight attendant training school is required from the authorities. And you have to pass the flight attendant training school if you want to work for SAS.
