I love my F&T waxed trucker so much! Such a staple. After watching this review though I would love to also grab one of these as a colder wear jacket as well!
Thanks for the specifics about the corduroy detailing. I've never pulled the trigger on the trucker version, and now that I know about the collar and pocket discomfort I'm glad I haven't. At that price point, that sort of daily minor annoyance would've been really frustrating.

I’m trying to get my paws on the same jacket to check out for review. It looks just like the old Carhartt J97 Detroit jackets. I sold probably thousands of those Detroit jackets in my lifetime. And it is probably my favorite Carhart jacket ever. So I really need to get my paws on a Mill jacket.
@@StrayReviews I had an old one form back in my army/ navy store days. I left it at my parents house when I moved out and my brother found it. He being a truck driver…. Wore it to its end…. RIP my old J97! The guy I use to work for still owes an army/navy store. Might need to go talk to Donny and see if I can get that old employee discount! Haha
I just got the Thursday waxed field/trucker for Xmas and cannot justify picking up this one right now. This jacket looks fantastic I agree that this cut and style would probably work for me on more occasions than the trucker style. Also, the polyester sleeves on the Thursday is why I went with it vice the F&T (I can’t stand the bunched shirt sleeve feel). I’ll just have to start dropping hints to the better half now and maybe I get lucky next year.
I get Carhartt Detroit vibes from the Mill. Not a bad thing, as that jacket is rather iconic. The addition of the wax & slightly longer length though make it a better option for someone in the trades that may be exposed to the elements.
I got the Mill Jacket and the Hudson when they were on sale, after trying them both on I decided I would get more wear out of the Mill Jacket. I have a little bit of a short torso and the length of the Hudson just felt a little awkward to me. I appreciate the reviews!
Great review, unfortunately the Olive is Sold Out and the Navy just doesn’t give me the it factor. Now to keep the hunt going for the right Wax Canvas jacket….Happy Holidays
