Being willing to sit on your inventory is an important trick I’ve learned over the years concerning online sales in particular. Most people get anxious and sell it at the current price. One might think that if they sell it at a high price, the competition can see that and undercut them, but this actually doesn’t happen enough to prevent sales. What usually happens is that other sellers see your high price and assume that it is the market price, so they match your price instead of selling lower. Even though I mark up the price about 30% above market, I always end up selling my product in a faster timeframe than I expected. Most get sold in a few months, and almost everything sells in a year. The only risk is if there is so much supply/so little demand of a product that the market price never changes.

I used to like selling on ebay for an occasional small profit to help out with pet food etc. Now you get a 1099 from our jackass govt and betwern that and fees its 50% of your profit. I havent sold anything since.

I do still love the hunt and flip stuff locally on occasion. I drove 70 miles to pick stuff up yesterday for my own use. Of course they have a plan for local sells to. Its called digital currency. My local corthouse jacked my taxes from 2k to 3k this year. And now they maje it harder to make money on the side? They can go f### themselves.

Shipping was 12.50 and eBay took 25% of the earnings off of promoted listing when they stated itd only be 10 when you typed it in. Taxed you on half the shipping cost you were billed out after it took their system 3 days to process that money. In turn you paid the customer order out 3 dollars after covering shipping/handling and sourced the product for them. MUG LIFE

You should do a TV series about this. Like the pawn shop show but about flipping stuff. Like the Undercover Billionaire show. “Flipping Off” or something funny like that. Sales goes to charity in the end.

For the record, that is Yoda, not Baby Yoda, he has wrinkles on his face with that Santa Claus hat hahaha 😂. I was looking yesterday for a Star Wars coffee mug on Amazon, and Baby Yoda came up sometimes, funny that Gary Vee found a Baby Yoda coffee mug too hahaha 😂.
