Today I want to share my vintage flipflop journal gift set I created as my DT Project for EverlastingJournals. I mainly used Set #10, but also used pieces from some of her other kits, too. All are linked below. I also used several beautiful papers that came from InFaithInspirations, also linked below.
I decorated everything in a shabby vintage style that gives the look and feel of years gone by. The set includes a gift bag which holds the flip flop journal, an embellished bookmark, and a small card. I embellished with old vintage pieces of fabric, lace, doilies, buttons, and twine. I hope you get lots of ideas that will inspire you to create something beautiful today and give you JOY!

What a sweet journal set, Rhonda. I love the tattered fabric that you used throughout the journal as well as the other crochet lace and buttons. The digitals are really pretty especially the pink rug image. But my favorite thing in the journal is the photograph of your grandmother as a baby. Just precious. I always enjoy seeing what you've made, but this one is particularly special. Thanks for showing it.

And she would absolutely LOVE knowing that her photo was in my journal for all the world to see. She was a “ham” for taking photos! lol I have a really cute one of her when she was in her 80’s wearing sunshades and looking hip. She was a tiny little firecracker! This is lovely Rhonda. I am working in a flip flop journal that I started way back when Leslie first showed how to put them together. I got as far as sticking the envelopes together then gave up 😂. I’m going to try and finish it and I’m inspired by seeing what you have created. Thank you. 🙏

Rhonda - you are one of the most creative people I know. This is just so beautiful - that old fabric you wrapped around is so perfect and it's such a wonderful old piece. That pale pink sari ribbon toward the back is so lovely - it's my favorite color. Everything you make is just so wonderful. XO -

Thanks so much, Ana! This is only my second flip flop journal, with my first being made from envelopes with 4-5 signatures… that one almost got the best of me! lol But I finally got the hang of it.
