Getting that bundle of AM5 parts for a build at $450 dollars is definitely a steal and a very good price for getting a PC build with current gen parts to work with. The PC itself looks great too, so that bundle of parts was definitely a worthy purchase. The one main critique I have with this build is that you went with a 1080p focused graphics card that is overpriced in the 1080p price range with the RTX 4060, which has only 8 GB of V-Ram at around a $300 price tag. It's still a great build and the 4060 will still perform nicely for 1080p, but for 1080p there are more affordable options with similar performance like the RTX 3060 TI, the RX 7600, the RX 6600 XT, or the Intel Arc A750 which can get you into a more affordable price range. As you mentioned in the video at 1:56, it's already risky enough getting into the price range of $1000 or more as the target audience with that kind of budget for a computer is more limited and so online PC listings will not gain as much traction at those prices. But the bigger issue for me is that someone who knows what they're looking for and is willing to shell out some money for a good PC build is probably going to want to play on more than just 1080p at a $1000 price point. A used RX 6800 or an Intel Arc A770 for the graphics card would be available at a similar price range to the RTX 4060, and those two graphics cards have 16 GB of V-Ram which gives you the capability at playing games in 1440p or 4K. The Arc A770 also has some reasonably good ray tracing performance as an alternative to Nvidia's graphics cards as Intel's drivers have made a lot of improvement with their Arc graphics cards.
Good looking build 🙂 Suggestion would be to look in to also do the vinyl wrap that Zack(ZTT) do for the PSU when there is a cut out to take the builds further ! Still enjoy the series , keep up the good work !
I don't personally like that look, confused why others do also. I want to know what kind of PSU I have and its power ratings also! Not some vinyl covered square at the bottom of my build. Nothing against ZTT or anything just how I feel.
Just recently finished binge watching the playlist for the challenge, very nice upgrades for each pc and making them look more high-end looking for an affordable price.
A 1660ti for $100 is a good deal. It’s still a very capable card. I have sold quite a few builds with 1660ti and 1660supers. Keep the flips up man! I hope you get that dream pc
@@joshthebutchergibson3218 haha I understand man. I keep that link in my video descriptions. It’s always near the bottom in my list of items I use and trust.
On higher end/modern motherboards, nvme ssd installations are tool-less, you can see him turning the standoff to secure the ssd in place, pretty convenient
Actually, the nvme when I bought the system was actually in the secondary m.2 position and did not have a standoff…and you are all correct when you say it was bowing, it was being pulled down way to hard. After I took the system apart I moved the nvme to the first position which had the standoff already in place. Where that SSD should have been in the first place 😁
🙂 yes It looks alot better, the only thing I would have done different is recycle that case and pickup a Sky Two Clone in White or Lian Li 011 Clone in White, thx for the video
Nice video and good build. WIth most of the parrts being in the mid-tier level ; you shouldn't have too much trouble with selling it. Only aspect of the build I have any worry about is only have 2 x ram modules vs using all 4 sllots for more ram overall.
Talked to you about this system in the discord.. glad to see it visually. Looks dope! Also, consider setting up channel membership. I believe a good few of us would join!
Thanks man, I am pretty sure I have memberships set up but I could be wrong. I looked into it a while ago but never looked at it again. I’ll be sure to dive deeper into it
The system looks really good! You've definitely given it a brand-new life, no doubt about that. The 4060 isn't the best GPU, but Nvidia tends to sell better so that was a wise move on your part.
Hi, I just found your channel and wanted to comment on the recent video that you posted. Maybe I can learn something. I found this gaming PC at a recycling center and I don’t know much about PCs
The guy just broke even Cpus sell for 140 used Mother sell for 80-90 new ( usually micro center bundle ppl get rid of )32 gb also micro center deal ppl.sell for like 60-70
Im beginning to think this guy is bullshitting us with these prices he gets things for. I find it awfully convenient how he gets all these killer deals. It just so happens he finds these super duper cheap prices all the time. Like he's adding it for dramatic effect or something.
