This is my first car flipping video in this video I will show you how I fix up this cheap Honda and sell it for a profit Music by click.pstmrk.it/3s/uppbeat.io... click.pstmrk.it/3s/uppbeat.io...
I do agree it was more then I probably should have done especially if your trying to do a quick flip. And yes where I’m from it’s hard to find cars that age without a lot of rust. Or for that cheap
It really do sound easier than it looks but if you have an engine misfire and it ain’t the spark plugs ur looking at an engine block higher than the worth of the car.
that's very filthy way of doing body work repair, not saying you guys should dismantle whole car, but this "repair" will come back in a year or two, but that won't be a your problem isn't it?
Im aware it will rust again but the idea is to have it last till the 2 year inspection is up. It’s not uncommon to see this bodywork done multiple times to get it through next inspection
@@vroomsgarageatv that's very bad way of doing it, it's not uncommon, i agree, it's good? we shall see how the thinned and welded multiple times metal reacts in a crash...
If it was a whole rocker panel or frame work I would have to cut it all out and welded new metal in properly cause I agree it will affect the safety of the car. Unfortunately the way I do it for small repairs like this is common a lot of people can’t afford to fix their cars properly and newer cars are so expensive now I just try to keep it simple. That was the first car I fixed and flipped I did one more after that that I did a little bit of body work,to as well but I prefer not to. Currently I am trying to buy and sell cars that are more expensive to begin with to avoid bodywork and less repairs. I have more new videos I will be posting soon. Thanks for the comments and honesty
@@vroomsgarageatv don't get me wrong, shortcuts are ok if done correctly, bodywork on cheap? ok, but make it with head and consciousness, but same approach to other stuff, like if someone slips the brake disks, I'm ok with it if someone keeps it safe (minimal thickness and wobble/play checked). Used different spring than original? ok, but change both so the car rides equally and do alignment afterwards. wanna rebuild the brake caliper instead of buying new one? good, just follow the rules of doing it correctly. Honestly I couldn't sleep thinking that I could kill someone by doing the bad shortcut (for example uneven brakes).
I can imagine the new owner of that rusty car, watching this video and saying "my car is crap behind the Paint!"... It seems a little scam to me, sorry guys...but It is 🤷
I always explain to the buyer what work has been done. And ware I am from almost all the cars that age are that rusted it’s expected when buying a used car of that age. We use salt on the roads during the winter it rots the cars out really fast
