Hi Kevin. Have done my first try with a float tube on lake Lyndon last Thursday. Was great, but the wind was a bit hard to manage with fins only. Do you carry paddles if needed ? Cheers.
Hey Kevin still been fishing lake grassmere on float tube wow u didn't tell me there were double digit big browns was an epic 15m battle what a hog it was swam off to live another day water still clean fish are in great condition do u think self an grassmere would fish better certain times of the year bloody same group of guys had stayed at grassmere left rubbish broken glass in lake witch I got most of it out just pigs
Excellent vid as usual Kevin. Love your informative commentary. I haven’t fished Grassmere for 20+yrs when I used a 8gm chrome glimmy to catch a 6lb cruising brownie.
I didn't realize that Grassmere had much fish these days, with all the previous pollution problems.Nice to see life in the lake.I did some floundering there 30 odd years ago and they had weird makings with orange spots.i put them all back.maybe with lake opening more often, it is slowly cleaning up.
Great video as always, big difference in size compared with the big chrome like flanks you were hauling in last season on the video but still a productive day any how. #RIPMEG
No doubt reduced flows in the salmon rivers due to irrigation demands has sped up the decline. Warm water doesn't help smolt survival on their downstream migration.
