Looks SIIICK I did my dash in my 91 Chevy c1500 a while back but didn't get to finish everything, I'm still missing my glove box lid lol, so yes I definitely recommend one kit but with an extra 3 oz. bag
Had the same thing happen with the hood on my truck. Only had the hinges on and it somehow wasn't latched. At least you don't have a broken windshield lol.
Definitely have to throw that stock EFI in the garage brother . Easy gains just from carbing these engines. But that's old school . Sniper EFI would be insane on this thing
I've seen videos of people flocking their dash boards, sections of their door panels, consoles, etc... it just looks blotchy to me. I've seen two of them in person and our local cruise nights and they looked terrible. This is just my opinion... I'm not a fan. With that being said, you did do a good job, I just don't like the look. But hey...i have always said "Build what you want...not what everybody else wants". Love the car either way. REALLY dig your truck.
If you plan to stay with hood locks once you replace the hood and cowl switch to the aerocatch hood locks. When they are unlocked they are popped up so you have a visual reminder.
this happened to me also. fixed my dodge ram automatic transmission from not shifting , when i fixed it ( signal wire broke) i did a testrun and the previous owner did bent the safety handle that the hood coold not fly open so without this it did and it broke my hood and window. :-(
I see a lot of guys talking about flock not looking great.I gotta disagree, I think it looks really good. I have alcantara door panels on my c10, and they don't look much better, especially once you touch them. The main thing, I think, to remember, is that flock is race car stuff. Race car stuff is pure function, and we think race car stuff looks cool because it equates to speed, which is what we all like. If you're around real race cars, they are not about looks. There is also probably a degree of application expertise involved, and sometimes stuff just doesn't look good on camera. All that being said, I am digging it.
Idk bout this flock stuff....it looks splotchy and weird like a fake suede maybe it's better looking in person than on video....looks like it will collect dust and be a hassle to clean...idk I'm old school... ...the seats are shiny...the dash should match lol....anyway...digging the progress on the mustang....great videos ...keep it up !
I agree. I just don't get the fascination with this look. It looks cheap and splotchy. That being said, I'm sure there are things that people would turn their nose up at me for doing to my 68, so I'm not hating him for doing it. I just don't personally get it. 😁
Hey! You can start a new business giving bald headed men around Southern California a flux hairdo, glue and flux. PS, Really like what you did putting drink holders in the console. Great work, keep them vids coming as you are my go to channel.
Looks good. Wonder how hard it will be to keep clean. Seems like it will hold dust. Also get rid of that hood and pins. That's for cheap race cars. This is a street car. Get original hood latch
You know what would of prevented you from that hood oops. A fellow youtuber send up an aero tech quick hood release kit. Sucks it happened but I know you'll fix it like new.
Spotty at best, $65. For flocking and 12 hours dry time, or $27. For 3 cans of semi gloss paint and in 4 hours your done, Hmmm??? What to do What to do,,,
Hope you dont end up with flack lung like the miners did back in the coal era!!just kidding that was called black lung but it was a real danger.and was long before osha was even spawned!!snooky pa.
product looks kind of cool but that job looks like a guy from the shady side of town said "HEY BUDDY HAVE I GOT A DEAL FOR YOU" on camera it looks VERY bad and them people saying it looks awesome guess are the same ones that loose in the cup and peanut trick.
The kid is hardly out of highschool and if I'm not mistaking a full-time college student building classic cars on a minimum budget. That's what this channel is all about. I find this channel way more interesting than some other channels with endless cash flow. I could have only dreamed of the things he's doing at his age and even at my age today. Than we get some slouch on the couch who says, "The show has taken a turn that doesn't interest me". I didn't realize his channel revolved around your interests. Let's see your daily hussle Billy and put it up on RU-vid. A few of us here will let you know if has taken a turn for the better or not.
I like the variety and he does it himself unlike other YTubers that call it their build and throw cash at it for someone else to build. I wont mention any names SS717. Keep up the good work Craig
