Flood The Race - BeamNG Drive Multiplayer 

Well that was certainly something. A waterless downhill here would definitely be interesting as well - and dangerous. Alternatively a soapbox car race down that sort of road would be horrifying for everyone involved.

Racing the flood back down the crater is an inspired call. What a very _FailRace_ idea... 14:32 "It's no winners this time on Takeshi's Castle" cracked me up.

This is amazing. I was hanging out with my 67 year old 1 legged father yesterday and I put on your race the descent videos and he and I were tearing up laughing. He's a big autosports fan, HUGE really. His little brother currently works for an Indy team as an engineer, he and his 2 brothers grew up racing gokarts. I've never seen him so interested in anything, really. BeamNG is a super impressive piece of software but your presentation and your crew put on the greatest show ever. I just want you to know you made me and my pops day yesterday. He was laughing harder at that than either of the 2 standup specials we watched that same day.

The level of strategy required for this kind of race is incredible. Seriously one of the most creative races I've seen from you guys. Keep it up!

That pass at the end by Brazen was so clean 😂 Could have ended badly at numerous moments but surprisingly didn't.

Interesting counter mode I've not seen elsewhere. I guess you could potentially wait til near the end, then send it Thelma and Louise style as a final measure. 😁

Gotta say i like the downhill version way better than the uphill ones. More strategy, more carnage, closer racing if you will, very nice.

You could start at the top whilst the water starts at the bottom, on 1.0 speed or 1.25 speed and you have to race down the hill to see who can make it the furthest before they hit the water line.

I feel like this went along the lines of simply trying to survive the run down the hill rather than trying to come first

I love this race idea it’s more of a balancing act than anything because on one hand you want to go fast enough to get first but on the other hand you don’t want to literally get crushed between the water and the other cars. Side note: I root for failrace in every video even if they don’t often win, the way he commentates just makes me want to root for him. Thank you so much failrace for all the wonderful videos I hope you still enjoy what you do for many years to come.

I have to say this is probably one of the best race game modes I've seen since people get bunched up and the people in first are at the greatest risk of being taken out.

This was great fun, and such a different way to race. Having the track essentially grow into place slower than the cars drive is such an interesting challenge. Hope to see more of this one.

Yes. My suggestion has actually been used. I even said it in one of the early Race The Flood videos. To start at top and race the water down.

I was skeptical if it would be interesting but this video was even funnier than the previous Race The Flood and they were already among the best videos I saw this year. GG

Interesting race. So the best strategy is either a bulky heavy car to sink everyone or a light nimble car to hang back and let others screw up.

So essentially what you could do is wait until the water is almost completely gone, then from the start or from somewhere else you gather alot of speed and jump off into the finish but there's still a bit of water to catch your fall.

Yo this title tripped me up so hard!!

Man this was lit but you got to change the name and do more of them call it Drain the Race 😆. Man this was actually pretty cool to watch. I don't know why I keep coming back and watching you guys race but I feel like I'm getting to know all the names now, lol

This is so much chaos and I love it! It's frustrating that there's almost a flaw in how this works as a race, but you're right it does become more of a destruction derby, and while I actually think it's fine just as it is, my OCD wants a reason not to hang back and avoid the damage, and I think being chased at the same time by an AI steamroller or combine harvester or some kind of giant vehicle that does the width of the road but can't quite catch the flood, could be incentive to move forwards more and make for one hell of a scenic race.. At some points it'd get closer to the flood than others, forcing players to have varying amounts of being forced into fighting. Panic/battle on the slopes, contemplation on the flats. Or it could even be a player driving the chaser, so it can be reset, to keep giving chase when needed, and when other players get dead, they could even rejoin as pidgeons on the mountain above, and can keep diving down the mountain at the remaining racers, with the rule that they have to spawn on land (not flying already as a missile lol).
