This is the best Stop the Beast I've watched. I LOVE the way the rear tires lift up the chasing cars that collide with them, sending them tumbling chaotically. Instant hilarity!

may i give you a suggestion, you should have a cameraman, just in freecam to switch to anytime there's a big wreck

The weaker cars were a surprising threat by chewing up your tires as they crashed into you, limiting your movement. I think that and the last round were quite balanced and could have gone either way!

The funniest Beast video, and this truck works better than the last one, because while it is still wrong and able to launch cars just as well (if not better) it is actually beatable

Lol, at about 20 minutes in there you were so clear, I was expecting to see a trucker's sunburnt arm sticking out the open window for a cooling breeze and some sun!

Not only funny video but the best part is how much the crew enjoyed it. They weere not scared of it but loved flipping their cars over the wheels. Check any of their content and youll hear them laughing and joyously screaming constantly.

8:30 as a truck driver myself a steer tire blowing out is my biggest fear, you lose all control of steering and just have to pray you can guide it to the shoulder without causing a wreck

That last one... Damn. Let the man breathe for just a few seconds to get the fire out from under him. He would have been able to press on for maybe another 3/4 km before being done, rather than burning to death. In any case, these are great fun to watch, or to have on a second screen while playing something else.

Not sure why but my cats seems to enjoy watching the carnage too. It's like ASMR to them.

This map strongly reminds me of Highway 101 along the Oregon coast... Though I cant recall an instance of road rage THIS bad. :)

This was a fun one! Would SO love to see a Mad Max type chase down a fairly straight section of road. A truck team (with a few protecting escorts) and a chase team. Maybe even a survive the descent rule where you’re locked into your vehicle choice for three rounds before being allowed to change. Winning g conditions would probably have to be short: get to the end of the road, survive X minutes, kill all chasers, protect certain amount of goods/cargo. Ooooo, or or even protect crash test dummies as an extreme taxi run. Start with 20 of them packed into a trailer bed or box truck, and see how many get flung out through the chase.

Using an automatic transmission would be a good idea in chases like this. You don't need to worry about stalling or 12 speed shifting and it's also smoother to drive. All you have to deal with is choosing between forward and reverse.

Its almost like the busted tires hooked the chase cars and caused them to launch at times

When I clicked on this video and saw that truck i was like there is no way that that is going to survive this and that it's going to be one of the worst vehicles of this series, but nooooo this vehicle (on this map) is one of the best of this series, it has amazing performance very impressive.

You should do it while pulling a trailer (tanker or something else that is avaible on beam)

The truck seems rather highly-geared, struggling to start in 2nd and 3rd with no trailer. The other thing with the gearbox is that this truck's visual model shows it to be old enough to be a "twin-stick", which is a form of H-pattern. (Modern-ish manual trucks use a single gear lever with air-controls.) Nobody shifts either design down through all the gears sequentially while stopped, so a good trucker would be able to find a reasonable forward gear much faster than the game allows. Alex should be able to skip more than half the gears, but the shift pattern is much more complicated for twin-stick. I love these old truck transmissions, but they confuse the heck out of me so apologies if this isn't 100% correct. In a twin-stick there's the main transmission and an axillary transmission, also known as a compound transmission. They were referred to by [number of main gears] x [number of aux. gears], e.g. 5x4. Common auxiliary transmissions were 2-speed ("duplex"), 3-speed ("triplex"), and 4-speed ("quad"). I think over-the-road/highway auxiliary featured direct (1:1) and overdrive gears, while off-road auxiliaries forgo overdrive gears in favour of low-ratio/underdrive and direct gears. The T-series is a 12-speed and off the top of my head I can't remember reading about a 12-speed twin-stick. The simplest pattern obviously would be 6x2, with reverse gear on the main transmission. This is the best fit given there are two reverse gears, R1 = Reverse-Direct and R2 = Reverse-Overdrive. Many trucks had reverse on the auxiliary transmission, but that left with them only one reverse gear. The T-series 6-speed main would probably be a 5-speed with a low gear that would remain unused generally, as this is a crawler gear for starting from a stop fully loaded or climbing steep hills, e.g. Lo-1-2-3-4-5. The low gear would also be a dog's-hind-leg beyond 1st and 2nd to the left (usually, left-and-down). Despite the gear indicator on the game UI, the 6x2 shift pattern for the T-series is ostensibly going: Lo-Direct > Lo-Overdrive, 1st-Direct > 1st-Overdrive, 2nd-D > 2nd-OD, 3rd-D > 3rd-OD, 4th-D > 4th-OD, 5th-D > 5th-OD. *NB: "Lo-Overdrive" is nonsense that nobody would do, and there would almost certainly be warnings about not doing that in the operator's manual if you don't want to blow the auxiliary!* P.S. For anybody that actually knows about this stuff, yes, I am mashing together Mack and Spicer transmissions like there's no tomorrow to generalize the overview.

This truck is a lot different than the t series, as because this truck is so long and so has little weight on the rear end compared to the nose of the truck, it is much easier to swing the back end out and cause crashes.

I enjoyed this video to the max. Hey so is there a mod or anything you can do in BeamNG to stop the vehicles from getting stuck like they do? the physics welding or whatever you called it? It sucks that vehicles hit, and basically become velcroed together. I wonder how much different the content woulld be if that is achievable? Bet it would make it a completely different, and just as fun and exciting if not more.

Just to let you know, the diff locks won't do anything for your gearing like you were thinking it would.. It will help with traction on dirt, mud, and things like that.

it's funny how lorries are fine with 0.015 PS/kg yet somehow car manufacturers convinced us we need ten or twenty times that to have any fun. light cars are better
