HL4EHalfLife Was it on disc? Don't think steam existed back then. I have steam versions. Got portal 1+2 HL 1+2 and episode 1+2 and a fan made episode 3 but I can't figure out how to get it to run.
HL4EHalfLife Played through all of those. pretty cool. One issue I have with the first HL is sometimes I get stuck in the side of a hallway and I have to turn on noclip to get out forfeiting the achievements but I'm from a time when beating the game was the achievement and it didn't matter if you used cheats. I play games for fun and not the challenge.
Oh yea, I'm setting up for another "pushed to it's limits" like I did with the sewing machine motors, however I'm not going to say what these motors are out of, only that there is about a dozen of them.
Have you ever considered destroying a universal washing machine motor? They're actually really easy to burn out. All you have to do is hook them up directly to 220 to 240v without any load or any form of speed control, yes they are that unstable that they will keep on speeding up until they self destruct. Usually the bearings or brushes are the first to go. You could even use one for a" pushed to its limits" video. I'm sure it would make for surefire destructive entertainment!!!
if your gona run a belt, use a tensioner or tighten the belt properly at least. dont even know why you're loading it with a belt anyways, if you're gona kill it, let the bitch fly apart at 300,000 rpm
