I have not sang many pop songs in my life and found it a challenge to cover such a song without making it into a super heavy version. Instead of heavier we made it more like a ballad. To sing it so small, keeping it like this even when it goes up higher was the true challenge. But what a beautiful song. Ik heb niet veel pop songs gezongen in mijn leven en vond het een uitdaging om zo'n nummer te coveren zonder er super heavy versie van te maken. In plaats van heavy hebben we het meer als een ballad uitgevoerd. Om het zo klein te zingen, zelfs als het hogerop gaat, was een echte uitdaging. Maar wat een prachtig nummer.

Im a grown ass man but anything floor sings brings me to tears. And Henk looks like a proud father here which is such a beautiful thing. We need more of this in our lives. No matter what language we are ALL part of this earth. It’s a team effort. At the end of the day whatever you believe in, we’ll all end up in the same place. Good or bad. This cover breaks my heart. People need to stop comparing the 2 and feel compelled to state who is better. They sang the song differently, Gaga belted out this tune with all her lungs because she was singing at a freakin' stadium or large venue and needed that effect for the movie. Floor Jansen is re-interpreting the song as a soft, breathy rendition in front of an intimate audience of less than 10 people. They are both phenomenal in their version. End of story!

Recuerdo que mi hijo prendió el televisor y por casualidad estaban preciso pasando Beste Zangers. Yo seguí en lo que estaba en mi teléfono hasta que de repente, escuché la primera nota que entonó Floor de ésta canción, mi mirada se dirigió inmediatamente hacia el tv, y mi reacción fue: wuauu, pero qué voz la de esa mujer!!! Le parece mamá? Preguntó mi hijo, y yo: esa mujer canta espectacular, quien es? Qué Marco Borsato, ni Gerard Joling, ni Froger ni qué ocho cuartos, por artistas como ésta es que siempre he dicho que todos esos viejos cantantes con musica pinga se deben pensionar. Luego busqué a Floor en RU-vid y aja, ja wel!!! Tremenda artista. Al dia siguiente me he dedicado a escuchar nightwish toda la mañana. Jamás me había interesado la música metal, pero gracias a Floor ahora soy metalera ha ha ha. Ya quisiera yo ir a un concierto de Floor o Nightwish pero mi dolor de espalda no me permite estar de pie largo tiempo, jammer.

Never heard from Floor Jansen till the start from Beste Zangers this season. She's got me from episode one , i never heard someone singing with so much feeling in his/her voice then her , i'm 51. Every song she sings , she makes it her song , included Floorgasm. Nederland must be proud she 's Dutch so I suggest that Floorgasm become in the Dikke van Dale soon, with the meaning orgasm for the ear. After listening hundreds of time this song and drying up from tears, I am able to write down the feelings i got when i hear her sing this. Its like to hear a Angel '2:41' , you feel her voice come inside your soul , so intense. I'm happy that i'm Dutch and bought a ticket for 24 Nov 20/20 Ziggo.
