You guys should come to Minas Gerais in another opportunity. It's a state that represents so much of the Brazilian essence, even though we are a landlocked state, no beaches. The state drove some of the most important political events of country, it's one of the safest states with a very rich nature and cuisine
Guys you need to visit Balneário Camboriú! It is very close to Florianópolis, and easily accessible. Santa Catarina is a beautiful state and has a diversity of landscapes that you will love. Congratulations on your channel!
Loved Camboriu! My wife’s aunt used to live there and we would visit each time we went to Brazil. Unfortunately, never spent much time in Florianopolis but already decided will stay there next May. I checked All Trails and learned there are so many hiking trails in Florianopolis.

I grew up an hour and a half away from Floripa and lived there for 5 years. This city will always hold a piece of my heart. The myths of magic feel true when you're surrounded by nature there.
Very great content from you guys again. You don't make videos; rather you make world-class documentaries. Your fan base in Nigeria and Africa is growing very fast. I wish DW tv will start buying your documentaries soon. Please, don't leave Santa Catarina without visiting Balneario Camboriu. The city is a bigger surprise than Gramado. The future of Brazil is finally exposed in Balneario Camboriu. Love from Nigeria
Thank you, we truly appreciate your comment and love hearing that we’re connecting with viewers in Nigeria and Africa. The ‘Dubai of Brazil’ just might be our next stop. It’s been recommended so much, we’re looking forward to experiencing it. Much love.
Balneário Camboriú is a coastal city like all the others, with the difference of having some skyscrapers and some millionaires, but it has the same problems found in any other Brazilian coastal city. Nothing more than that.
Vocês conseguiram resumir bem a ilha.
Casal nota 10!!
What a wonderful spot! Thank you for this video ❤ Beautiful beaches, lots of food choices, serene residential neighborhoods and that 140 year old tree!! I think I could live here 🥰 - hope it’s not too hard to get a visa….
Our pleasure! It seems to be a very comfortable spot. I don't know about the weather year round but ...safe, affordable and modern infrastructure....it has good bones lol
@@TheYarbros Oi oi! now is cold, but not so much. We have this privilege comparing with the Brasil above São Paulo. We have a real winter here. Just once in my life we had 1 Celsius degree. But If you go to the mountains, 300km far distant of Floripa you can se snow nowadays. The weather in worldwide is being craziest!
I enjoyed my week in Floripa. I could totally see myself living in Florianopolis. It was a fun place to be but after a certain time, not much to do. But very safe city and friendly people. Great video guys.
Hey guys if you have a chance go to see the sunset at Jericoacoara beach it's in Ceará state in the north east of Brasil...an amazing place for Kitsurfing and windsurfing...diversity is the brazilian strength...hope u have fun here
Sempre acompanhando a jornada.
Guys, you need to visit Curitiba!! It's the safest big city in Brazil and it's very close to Florianopolis! There's an italian Restaurant called Madalosso which is the biggest restaurant in the world. A city colonized by Polish, Italian, Ukranian and german inmigrants so you're gonna find a lot of european cuisine in there.
Hey guys if you are still in Floripa region it's so worthy to visit Balneário Camboriú, only 30-40 min drive and discover the highest dollar cost per square feet in the whole country. Loving your videos
Thanks, we're planning on going if the rain lets up our visa is running out soon....and we have to make some executable plans so we'll see! We want to go though!
Hi Guys, Floripa is beautiful! I lived there with my family for 7 years whilst my sister and I were kids. We have lovely memories. I don't know if you are still travelling around Brazil if you do, head to the North East. You guys are gonna go insane there! You are going to enjoy the Caribbean of Brazil. Places to go : Salvador, Maceio ( it is a must), Fortaleza. Enjoy the rest of your trip and let all Americans know how amazing Brazil is. Love your chanel.
Amazing video. Guys if you are in our beautiful Santa Catarina state, Balneário Camboriú and our European Valley ( Blumenau, Pomerode, Timbó) is a must! Enjoy our beautiful island and once in Floripa I recommend visiting the Campeche island.
January I went on vacay to Florianópolis and I was impressed by the amount of tourists from Spanish speaking countries. I live in Parana, then visiting Floripa with all those tourists amazed me a lot. No kidding man, I heard only spanish and not a single Portuguese soul was there. It was a funny situation. ❤ I wonder if I would have the same feeling visiting miami or San Diego. Have a gr8 travel guys. Hope u visit the mountains of santa catarina and travel in the train of Curitiba thru the range of mountains down the coast.
I am a US American retiree whp spent May to August 2022 there in Ingleses and Canasveires neighbohoods. Loved it. Planning to returrn soon. Living in Sao Paulo somewhat more permanently.
It is also worth visiting Blumenau, in Santa Catarina. City with strong culture and German descendants. Where is the second largest October Fest in the world, after Munich...
So good to see people really enjoying what is our country, street foods, public market and everything else! This is the first video i see of you guys! New subscriber, no doubt!! Im missing Brasil a lot! 😢 🇧🇷
Hi, guys! I've been living here for the past 18 years (I'm from SP). I came to study at university, fell in love with a local and never left! Each different side of the island has a different vibe. North beaches are more family friendly, Jurere is where you'll find really rich people and fancy houses, there are beach clubs and parties. The east beaches are packed with surfers, and the south beaches are more untouched, so you get a wild nature vibe there. The feeling you get also varies depending on the time of the year. During the summer the island gets packed!!
From Rio and up the coast up to the north the beaches are still full, though not crowded. Down south, the temperatures are too low for most Brazilian tourists. Flonopix is nice, a tad slow, but nice and good quality of life.
Consider going to Camboriú. Some say it's Brasil's, Dubai. A lot to do and show there. Congrats on the content. Love the House Music soundtrack btw Cheers
Nice seeing that you guys are visiting my native state of Santa Catarina! In case you guys are sticking around for a lickle longer, it's very much worth checking the town of Nova Veneza and its annual Italian Food Festival, taking place next week. In Nova Veneza you can even find an authentic Venetian gondola, one of only 3 (if I'm not mistaken) outside of Italy.
Quality of life. The world needs cities that offer better living conditions for their residents. Florianópolis is one of those cities that is an example for rich cities but without that aspect of happiness in their daily lives.
As melhores cidades do Brasil para criar filhos são Florianópolis, Jundiaí, Santo André, Joinville, Blumenau, Curitiba, Maringá, Bauru, Vitória (ES) e Santos
@@TheYarbrosI realize that even the look. Your faces got younger after visiting Brazil. A less heavy look. Lighter and happier. They seem to be 10 years younger than when they landed in Brazil. The conversation flows with joy. I noticed big changes since the first video.
I think it's a must to visit Balneário Camboriú when coming to Santa Catarina. It's a very vibrant and vivid city. At weekends there is so much happening in the beach side. I've never seen so many rich people before in Brazil, I confess it made me a little anxious xD
It’s Friday evening after a demanding work week. The wife is in Rio Grande do Sul (not too far from Gramado) visiting her family. I know what I’m doing this evening: Imma binge watch your vids!
Pretty nice video. The locals are a bit angry about too many people living there, but in the end I think they're generally nice with people when they know them.
Hello guys, enjoy your stay at Floripa. Ingleses is in the north shore of the island, more urbanized i personally preffer the south shore, Praia da armaçao, more houses and less buildings. If you like hiking I would recommend Lagoinha do Leste trail. After Floripa if your heading north there are beautiful beaches nearby as Guarda do Embaù and bombinhas to the south of floripa Praia do Rosa. Balneario Camboriu in my opinion is a tourist trap, skyscrapers by the beach causing shadows in the sand, them they trowed sand to expand the original beach but there are problems with the sewer system and the water is poluted. They are wanabe Miami, wanabe richs with including car modifications shops to make fake (fiberglass replicas) sports car. By the way the water is cold from Rio de Janeiro to the south, only in northeast of Brasil the waters are warmer.
@@TheYarbrosin balneario camboriu you can visit the interpraias park to ride the cable car, visit the city aquarium which has a lot of variety of marine life and the beaches in the region.
She was glowing the whole time we were there. Cut on the high-beams when we went home w/ that chocolate & wine. It's a special place , romantic, fun, walkable...can be expensive if you get caught-up.
I'm from the south region of Floripa and used to work in Centro, happy to see that you guys liked here, it's exactly like you described, awesome place to live, it's peaceful close to the beaches and you got that "work" vibe close to Centro with a lot of things to do. Awesome video guys, always be welcome to come back here!
How the beaches in florianopolis work: north is more family orientes and also has some RICH neighborhoods, like the famous jurere Central part has lagoa da conceição, barra da lagoa and joaquina, my favorite part of the city The south is just the chillest part, chill island vibe
You guys should definitely put on your list the urubuci city in Santa Catarina its a drastic contrast to where you guys have been visiting and it is drop mouth gorgeous !! Loved watching you guys 🩷 have a blessed vacation
Fun fact: Its actually three bridges: the main one Hercilio Luz wasnt working until a few years ago. The other two, Pedro Ivo Campos (from island to the mainland) and Colombo Salles from mainland to the island. Love the video. Missing my hometown a lot.
You really should go go Foz do Iguaçu, lençóis maranhenses and someplace in the amazon if you ever come back to brazil! The amazon especially, lol. I see that you guys like to be authentic in the way you explore, and it would be nice to see that kind of vision towards the amazonian parts of brazil, that are usually seen as pure nature by tourists, but also have a lot of culture. Manaus and Belém are beautiful cities, and from there you can go in nature tours. It’s really really worth it.
Jalapão too!!!! There are tours there. It’s a gorgeous semi-desertic region with amazing natural waterfalls and the culture and nature are both incredible and unexpected.
And bonito, lol. Idk how to describe it- just look bonito Mato Grosso do sul to see some images. As a whole, go see some of our natural wonders ☺️ you absolutely won’t regret it
please, stay in florianopolis until the festa junina, its a popular festival in brazil and florianopolis has a special one from portuguese descendent from açores islands
I love the way you are passing Brazil on to other people, since they are in Florianópolis they could try visiting the nearby city of Balneário Camburiu, it is a popular modern city :)
My place! ❤ I have an Airbnb apartment on this beach (Ingleses) just 100m from the sea. I'm renting! But I live on the opposite side, in the extreme south of the island. Here is the oyster paradise where the most golden sunset is. I expected to see more places in the video, but I noticed that you are enjoying the vibe, like a permanent vacation! I just subscribed now! 😊☺️
