Identifying and arresting the offenders who were clearly caught on video should be pretty quick and easy, yet for days now all we hear is "the authorities are trying to identify the boaters"

When I was in the Navy I served aboard an aircraft carrier. When we were out at sea and it came time to take out the trash we would take the plastic garbage bags to the back of the ship. I was told we couldn't just throw the bags overboard. So we would put them in a round metal container on the fantail. Here comes the fun part. The container didn't have a bottom. So the garbage bags would just fall out of the bottom of the container and float away behind the ship. Apparently at the time it was legal to do this. Fun times.

But it is relevant. It's clowns from cold parts of the country who come down here and trash the place. We lovingly call them "snowbirds." This particular boat is owned (maybe 'was owned...') by a transplanted snowbird from NY. You know the kind, the ones that can spend a couple mil on a nice boat so that their snotty spoiled spawn can show off to his snotty spoiled friends and dump garbage off the coast. You may have a similar problem up there. Same clowns, different place.

He wasn't taught the moral compass from his parents nor his surroundings. He thinks it is norm and happens all the time in Florida so dumping little trash shouldn't be scrutinized much in the public.
