So much fun! On my lunch break watching on replay. Love your adventures with Liam. Miss those days with my kids being little, but the teen adventures with them while different are so much fun now too. Liam will never forget these moments with you and Josh doing all these special activities! They would have loved all this at Liam’s age!! Enjoy every second! 🤗

Thank you. Having both of them home this summer has been a special kind of fun. I've tried to do a family outing a week, so we don't miss this time with him. Liam definitely gets me out of my regular bubble with creativity and energy. I have very special memories of my Mom at our mall and especially Christmas shopping. Liam was so confused when I told him we were going to do this. He asked if Amazon was broken. lol. Hopefully some of the fun memories will stick with him, too.

That's definitely a trend here, too, that malls are closing. It seems to me that they can do ok if they are in a shopping destination area with a lot of other stores, but not every city can have one anymore and be able to keep it full.

Nice to see malls promoting activities besides shopping. So many malls are now dead space. Perhaps they could be repurposed into community activity centers or somehow be mixed use. A smaller, long vacant shopping center in north Hollywood , CA was repurposed into housing, shopping (brought closer to the street) and a park. Very clever, easy on the eyes and practical.

I was surprised by how full this mall stays with stores and kiosks. A lot of the strip malls are having trouble staying full or attended. When we were in Bradenton, we noticed the whole mall had closed down. I'd love to see it repurposed as a senior living facility or something mixed purpose for sure.
