Washington naval treaty 1922 It limited the sizes and tonnage of battleships, battlecruisers and the future aircraft carriers (how big they would become, at that time probably no one believed that the US in would have ships inte Forrestal class size) The treaty contained provisions which fixed relation in size between five big powers: UK, France, Italy, Japan and US.

The auto aim compensation is kind of necessary. The mouse aiming on a screen is pixel-based and therefore has a certain "step-wise" error. If you now determine the aim point at a very small angle, this error becomes large in terms of the distance you're aiming at. So, without compensation it would be almost impossible to aim at the exact spot where the enemy ship is accurately. So by flattening the aim curve around the ship a bit, you actually make it possible to aim high or low on a ship without running into problems.

This ship was one of 35-38 designs. This was labeled as Design XVI-D before they initiated the escalator clause and increased the tonnage and gun size. Check out Norman Friedman's book "U.S. Battleships: An Illustrated Design History".

Just picked this ship up. No idea what, if anything, has changed since upload but I am having sooooo much fun with it.

HISTORY: the design was limited by the terms on the 2nd London naval treaty. the treaty limited battleships to no larger than 35,000 tons and a gun diameter no larger than 14 inches. the reason the design was changed was because Japan refused to sigh the treaty. this allowed the signing powers to invoke an escalator clause in the treaty which authorized ships to have 16in guns.

What is the dispersion module? So if you in the equipment section and does it come standard with the ship or do you have to pay coal for it in the armory I'm new to the game That's why I'm asking thanks.

Isn't the ship just a slightly worse KGV in most aspects? I guess AA is better with DFAA. Edit: advantage for each ship. I guess they each have their own flavor but still feel KGV is overall superior. Florida: Much better penetration. Better Firing angle. Better AA. Better deck armor. 10% higher alpha AP strike. KGV: Much higher DPM(25% AP, 40% HE). Much higher HP. Much better heal(4v3, 0.6%vs0.5%, 60CD vs 80CD). Better accuracy(1.8 vs 1.7 sigma, -7% dispersion mod) Speed/concealment/turning are quite similar

If you play NC and play her well and want more challenge, get it.

Me after waste 20k+ doubloon and hear the ship sell in shop at cheaper price.... They only mention the ship can get only in token event in the website but didn't expect they sneaky add in premium ship. That dirty move. I like the ship but I paid triple the price for it....

Guys, what ship to buy, Florida or Hood?

Did they recently nerf this thing into the ground? This is my most hated ship, period. It's the worst performer I have by a long shot. I mean, the Roma is way more consistent than this thing for me, and that says a lot. The armor doesn't work, not angled, not straight bow on, nothing. Everything seems to overmatch it, it explodes when you look at it. In return, even when performing the most perfectly executed shots, RNG says nope and shell fly all over the place missing the target (the aiming is not the problem here). And whenever it does hit, it's overpen's all day every day, if it doesn't ricochet of a perfect broadside. That's my experience with this floating piece of scrap metal. I like the Colorado better, I like the Roma better, hell I almost like the Kawachi better.

US 14s in this game are sooo superior to 16s. The 14s are way more consistent. 16s miss, bounce n overpen to much. Figured wv44 would be tough but naw shes squish. Might give florida a wack....who knows

I hate this ship with a passion , horrible , horrible dpm ( ridiculous reload) armor is trash if you get uptier and face Vladi and Sinop you have no chance.

This ship might be ok on pc, but on console it's BBBAAADDD! I mean it's freaking terrible!!!

The only thing amazing about the Florida is how easy my Nelson kills it...
