I love to shop at the local Spanish owned corner store near my job. About a year ago I stumbled across Florida Water and decided to start using it as a cologne. I loved it so much I wanted to research it. When I did I found all these things about Santeria and Florida water being used for blessings and protection. You can use borax for the floors. Its done in Puerto Rico. It gets rid of all the bad energies and protects the house. Of course it wouldn't hurt to add abit of Florida water to it.

Funny, I use Florida Water after I shave before knowing that it was made for it. I wash my face and head with it. It is my sword. Im 63 and remember when I was a girl we had to stay due to a medical emergency in Puerto Rico. Ended up staying there to live we moved in from Chicago. We lived with our grandmother and uncle. They were wonderful people. I use to love and sleep with my grandmother. She could not live without it. She loved the fragrance and after shower drenched in it. I loved the fragrance. I specially love to smell the scent on her. I miss it. She had her “altar” in her room with a small beautiful mountain waterfall fountain. With some candles she prayed her rosary in front of it every night.

I used to think so, too, which is ironic, as I have only visited Florida a few times, and after several clear and evident Signs, know in my heart of hearts the Goddess does not want me visiting Florida ever again. However, it was not until after I began reconnecting to the African blood in my Caribbean veins (my maternal grandmother's maternal grandmother was a black woman), did I begin to fully appreciate Florida Water. If I carry as little as possible on my person, it is my wallet, a book, my reading glasses AND Florida Water. For me, Florida Water is my Spiritual cleanser, my Aura cleanser, my hand and body sanitizer, my bad juju away-er, my good juju keeper-around-er, my Energetic refresher, and Great Goddess Alive, I WISH I could douse some toxic person with it, but that would be assault. Oh, but Good Goddess, how I WISH I could! Anyway, thank you for a great video about Florida Water. I happily gave it a "Like" and a Share on Twitter, too. Also, before I forget, I recall reading that the word "Florida," means "with florals," which made sense to me, as Florida Water is usually made with floral extracts. The company was called Murray and Lanman when I first began buying Florida Water, but now it is called Lanman and Kemp Barclay, hence the "L & K" on the bottles. Also, you are so right about the four-ounce. If I see them and do not buy one, they shall not be there when I return. If my regular day bag was not already so heavy, I would totally carry that sixteen-ounce container. And at least half of it would be gone by the time I came back home! SERIOUSLY!!
