UPDATES: bit.ly/2GsBXXm Denise Williams, convicted of helping mastermind the killing of her husband Mike Williams, who went missing in 2000, has been sentenced to life in prison, plus another 30 years. UPDATES: bit.ly/2GsBXXm
The wife is worse. Wife also killed the father of their child and kept her from his family. She is easily worse. And likely lied about the best friend kidnapping her. She was the mastermind of the entire murder and used his dumb ass.
The best friend has a guilty conscience and solved the case. Denise would've never talked and let Mike continuing rotting in the ground. I'm glad Brian got a deal.
If he hadn’t been honest and told the whole story, they wouldn’t have recovered Mike’s body nor would Denise have ever been arrested. It was at her insistence that Mike was murdered anyway.
@@DrewAndrews No she didn't lie about the abduction, Brian had her at a gun point ready to murder her but she drove to the police station so he didn't kill her. That's the reason she had to get questioned about Mike again
@@circesoul2218 He didn't have "guilty conscience", he was offered to have 20 years instead of life in prison if he told the police absolutely everything. He was planning to kill Denise earlier that day when she went to the police station.
I feel horrible for the daughter. Her Dad adored her and the wife not only killed him but cut her off from the Grandmother & Uncle. She then married the best friend so the poor daughter lived with 2 killers. Now she has no Dad, and Moms in prison . I hope she was able to finally have a relationship with her Grandma & Uncle.
She seems just as bad as her mom. She refuses to speak with her grandmother. Her grandmother places an ad in the newspaper each year wishing her a happy birthday and telling her she loves her.
She was entitled and never happy so she had an affair because Mike worked too hard. Not too hard to demand access to his life insurance after murdering him though. Then she wasn't even happy with brian in the end despite what he did for her so she wanted to divorce him. She was also so entitled that she assumed brian wouldn't want to get revenge on her.
I cannot believe she actually reported the kidnapping! She must have thought she had everyone wrapped around her little finger. Well, she did if Mike had to drop everything to come home whenever she needed her gas tank topped off. And this killer! He throws his unsuspecting buddy into the drink and then motors away which was bad enough but then returns and I'm sure Mike thought it was all just a terrible prank and he was coming to get him only to have his final images be of seeing his buddy raising a shotgun in his face?! It's the cruelest! And his killer sits there sobbing on the stand about it? Boo hoo sicko! RIP Mike Williams. Good man.❤🌹
@isabel lind Her narcissistic personality is why, in her mind, the world revolves around her and gets what she wants, and it blinded her. The police department couldn't believe their luck. She destroyed so many lives, yet no emotion whatsoever.
I believe that the friend killed him to be with her and Denise had no idea that Brian had planned this. He then moved right into his place and then turn around and take over his life. He only came up with this story when she didn’t want him any longer.
update: Denise Williams was sentenced in February 2019 to 30 years for conspiracy to commit murder. I'm glad they finally got her, jeez, this was such an obvious case!
Unfortunately, knowing that someone did it and being able to prove that they did are two very different things. It may have been extremely obvious but they had no concrete evidence to have her locked away like she deserved.
@@antininja162 -- yeah I know what you mean, and I agree! It's just frustrating when it feels so obvious, and that's what it makes me so glad that they finally were able to charge her (:
@@antininja162 I totally agree with you. We can all be experts after the facts are revealed. However, facts matter in order to have an airtight case. His wife might have gotten away with murder if she hadn't been stupid enough to place fresh clothing in the lake late in the investigation.
Still, a lot of speciesism going on in this video. Referring to them as “cold-blooded carnivores” and such. As if they’d ever call a mammal a “hot-blooded meat-eater”! I’m just saying scaly lives matter.
Cheryl Williams is the most amazing mother I've come across in a while. Never gave up for nearly two decades and put in the work to keep Mike's story visible. Thank God the investigator showed interest in the newspaper article. Without Mike's mum, the case would have been closed and forgotten. I know most would just lament and tell their misfortune to any listening ear, but Cheryl went that step further and got the results in the end. God Bless her heart. As for Bryan and especially Denise, no words could ever describe their kind of evil.
I can’t even imagine her pain. It was palpable in listening to her pleas. Makes me so very sad for his mother and his kid. One day they will grow up and figure out the truth. The internet is forever ☝️😔
I love that adorable mom and her pigtails. My heart breaks for all the pain, loss and betrayals she’s endured these years while fighting for the truth about her son. It was her steadfast determination for truth, justice and finding her boy that solved this case. SHE NEVER GAVE UP. *a tight hug to Mike’s mom Cheryl* ~I’m so glad you’ve finally witnessed some justice for your son ❤️
Rollin' High As I understand it, the granddaughter (who is nearly 20) still won’t speak with her grandmother (Cheryl). I can’t fathom the poison that Denise must have fed that girl’s mind for her to continue estrangement after now knowing what her mother did to her father. She was at the trial. 😔 Cheryl lost her granddaughter too when Mike was killed. That’s absolutely devastating to a grandparent. This crime was truly horrific
@@JenKelly I feel like if she really won't speak with her grandma then she's as evil as her mom. I would be angry at my mother for what she did and would seek my father's side of the family.
11:40 this mother is the best mother I've ever seen! she's out there doing her own legwork and never gave up God bless her and the reporters like you and the newspaper lady who brought attention back to the case ❤️
I love that mama. she is so full of love and raised her kids well. It's so sad that she lost her dear son to such a cold and ruthless woman that she loved and welcomed to her family
Michael Williams’ remains were found in December 2017 (50 miles from where he was last known to be) & his “widow” was arrested in May 2018, on her daughters 19th Birthday! 😔🙏
I agree. Mike was a good, honest, caring man who unfortunately married a greedy money hungry , soulless B. Mike was way too good for that cold hearted monster.
It beggars belief........what is wrong with the word DIVORCE?........Was it worth it in the long run.....you not only deprived your daughter of her dad you lose the rest of your life because you have to spend it in PRISON!!!!
People have been murdering their other halves for many may years for life insurance.... Mary Ann Cotton (née Robson; 31 October 1832 - 24 March 1873) was an English serial killer, convicted of, and hanged for, the murder by poisoning of her stepson Charles Edward Cotton. It is likely that she murdered three of her four husbands, apparently in order to collect on their insurance policies, and many others.
Mikes mom is so cute, my heart goes out to her I can’t imagine how hard this has been. She was amazing fighting for Mike until she got justice for him.
It's sickening that she wasn't arrested sooner. She got to live for years and spend all that insurance money. Stupid cops too often give a woman the benefit of the doubt when they can be the most diabolical and conniving bitches in the Universe.
Had Winchester and her been truly compatible, the heinous act they did would have indeed never come to light. But thankfully, they got old and their marriage fell apart.
@@baldwinwallace4926 If she had been, fat, frumpy and middle aged, they would have thrown the book at her. Slim, blonde, blubbering crying, most males fall so easily and stupidly for that crap....and women know it!!
The beauty of her getting caught is that she went as a VICTIM to report her husband (aka partner in crime) and shot herself in the foot! Poetic justice for 2 diabolical people.
She acts so traumatized and shocked that her husband would "kidnap" her. What does she expect from a man that would kill her previous husband (his former best friend?) She must have been shocked when she tried to nail Brian for kidnapping her and she ends up with a life sentence.
Ikr. he was listening to her like "I don't believe this shit". she deserves a very special kind of hell. and his murderous greedy scandalous ass will be right there with her.
This is what happens when you treat someone way too good and be overly nice with them like her surpassing the limits on his credit card and him not confronting her, but instead just asking his boss what he should do, he seems liked a super nice guy who cared. But when you feed the alligator it’ll always keep coming back, and the day you have nothing or say no, I’d the day the alligator will eat you instead. That’s what happened here, treated her too good to the point she wanted more and all of it and killed him for it. Poor man, she didn’t deserve him..he was above her league in all aspects, and had all the good qualities. Yet still married this psychopath. I guess you never know with some people, their good for the first few years, then boom. Things take a dark change and you won’t be around to realize it or confront them once they kill you.
She was bored she wanted more excitement in her life. And she blamed him for keeping her from it. And the only way she can get rid of him would be a great financial cost so she decided to have her cake and eat it too. Just a very very selfish woman.
I hope his mother has a good relationship with her granddaughter today. How sad that she was kept from her by just simply trying to find out what happened to her own son. So evil..
FINALLY JUSTICE IS SERVED!!! Edit: read the article, I KNEW after she got his best friend arrested that he'd crack and confess. Glad he did the right thing finally.
@@jamesmudd4162 True... but she *_knew_* all too well-- better than anyone-- *_exactly_* what he was capable of doing to her (or even Ansley), right? If you murder in cold blood once, it must be easier to do the next time around I would imagine. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Death at his hands, or taking a chance on him not spilling his guts about the murder. Since he only got 20 years for that, and he would probably have actually served much less than that, she most likely believed that the secret was safe. She would be thinking that those 20 years maximum in prison are nothing compared to a murder conviction and sentence, right? I honestly doubt she ever even dreamed that any kind of immunity deal for him could be made to solve the case, especially *that* sweet of a deal. Heck, it actually turned out that way and *_I_* still can't believe that that they gave him such an easy deal-- full immunity? For murder? OMG.He will be out freely walking the streets with us in less than a decade-- even if he serves his entire sentence! I really am beyond thankful that Mike's murder is solved, and that his mother finally got to lay him to a proper rest and get some closure, but I still just can't imagine him getting *_nothing_* for what he did. So, why on Earth would she have ever dreamed it could/would happen? Fear of what he would do to her made her take the chance, I'm sure, but I would still bet that she had no clue that he would ever talk about the murder. Could anyone? I am wishing you the best. Be safe and be well. ~Peace!
Imagine how irritated Denise Williams is thinking, man if I hadn’t had him arrested I would still be free. And have all that life insurance money to spend and use. Also she was an idiot who has the murderer arrested, when you know that he could spill the beans and a rescue to.
I don't know this man, and it's rude of me to speak of someone who is deceased, but I just wanted to say he looked so happy and like a really nice guy who would drop anything to help someone.
She is so sweet she is family . I really hate all these Trolls that they call her Crazy because she wears pigtails. She Knew she would loss his Child her grandchild by Trying to find out about her son. And to think Ansley still won’t Talk to her is Heart Braking her Mother set it up for Brian to kill him and spread lies about her Grandmother. She has Turned just as Evil as her Mother .
Because Denise is a disgusting , greedy cold-hearted monster. Cares about NOTHING except 💰. And now the granddaughter is in her 20s and still won't speak to Mike's mom. Imo she's probably just as cold hearted as her mother. The apple never falls far! 🍎

Wow I’ve been following this story forever. His mom broke my heart and she’s what made his story continually relevant. So glad that amazing woman finally has justice and peace so she can grieve.
I would like her to get rid of those silly looking hair bunches , all she needs is a clown’s nose a and big shoes to complete the look .. That being said , good on her for her persistence . I hope she finds some sort of peace and acceptance .
Once Denise declared that she never wanted to hear her late husband's name ever mentioned again then began keeping their only daughter from his mother then the wheels of retribution began to turn.
Why wasn’t it “revealed”, at the end of this video, that she was arrested, found guilty & sentenced? Even tho I’m well aware, due to this being an older video & a search of my own, that your title for this story wasn’t filmed 🤷♀️🤦♀️
BLAQCHIQ MAGIQ87 I searched some more & Michael’s remains were found in December 2017, his widow was arrested, on her daughter’s 19th Birthday, charged (in May 2018) & sentenced (in October 2018) to life 🤦♀️So sad for his daughter 😔🙏
Imagine how heartless and utterly narcissistic you'd have to be not only to allow your own father to spend so much emotional and physical energy in searching for your husband when you know it's pointless, but also to see the heartbreak, effort, and desperation of your sweet mother in law looking for her child, or at least looking for answers for what happened to him. She not only conspired to kill her husband, she also hurt so many other people involved in searching and eventually mourning for him. She wasted so much time, so much taxpayer dollars, so much effort from the community. She's a terrible person.
Except sharks. I still worry about sharks. Oh, and snakes too. I still worry about snakes. And alligators. C'mon, you still have to be worried about alligators a little bit. I mean, they're like living dinosaurs. And I don't know if it's just me, but I worry about monkeys too. Monkeys can mess you up, and they're just creepy. And Bigfoot. Don't forget about Bigfoot. You'd rue the day when you stopped worrying about Bigfoot and then WHAM, there's Bigfoot! You stopped worrying about me and now, here I am! Worried about me now!? As Bigfoot kills you in a Bigfoot way. I'm worried about Bigfoot.
@@angelicaplummer7427 You just had to go and mention eels. My head is always on a swivel when racoons are around. Look at their little human like hands. Don't let em fool ya, they can pick a lock quicker than The Lock Picking Lawyer. I saw one steal a car once. It was a little car, but he hot-wired it and drove away. He flipped the owner the bird as he sped off, a little black middle finger. And you know what, his possum buddy was ridding shot gun. I'm afraid. This is night mare fuel. Be careful! Mark my words about Bigfoot, he'll get ya!
I never understood why she bothered reporting the kidnapping knowing there was a chance Brian would have used that opportunity as retaliation to tell all.
If police had investigated Brian’s moves in the morning of Mike’s disappearance as soon as they learned about insurance policy they would have been aware of his purchase of shovel in the Walmart and investigated his car for forensic evidence finding the blood traces at the back of his truck. They ignored all the alarm bells that were right in front of them and his mom’s pleas for justice.Sloppy police work.
When they interviewed her later on they gave her every chance to pin in all on Brian almost encouraging her to do it. She totally missed the signals allowing him to cut his deal.
@@nicknewman7848 that's true. She could've been the one to end up with the better deal. BUT the FDLE guy said the most important thing was finding Mike's body. And only Brian knew where it was.
Krishi Animations Um you do know those are separate charges right? I think someone on the thread was joking about “if in case she gets away with murder they still have that 30 year in there” That’s ironically true... she still has the ability to appeal, and if she wins she still has to contest the other charges that landed her the 30 year. When the slow wheels of the judicial system revolve, she will be old and possibly possibly be at the end of her life. This isn’t over kill... this is to ensure that the law which is by far an imperfect judicial system can’t be taken advantage of...
GOD has hidden a love like His own in the depths of a mother's heart❤ So inspiring and yet so very sad at the same time the love and determination of Mike's mother. Sad because of how the evidence unfolded and she had to realize her beloved son was so heartlessly murdered. GOD bless her, and mothers everywhere who love their children this deeply🙏
Mike's best friend was sleeping with his wife. They planned a staged fishing accident where the boat tipped over and the alligators ate him, but his best friend shot him and buried him near the swamp bank where his body was found years later. The wife and Mike's best friend got married, then got caught , then went to prison. They killed Mike over a one point five million in life insurance money in which Brian, the best friend sold his wife.
Brian just confessed. Police admit they couldn't have convicted without him confessing. He did it to get back at Mike's widow because she was cheating on him. Once a cheater... And they didn't just kill him for money. Yes, it was necessary to secure what she wanted but she wanted her daughter. She didn't want to share her with her awesome husband since they were separating. So, she had Brian handle it. Brian did it for love. He was a simple man. And a murderer, but yeah, simple.
Definitely. She's so adorable and determined. I have a son too and if that happened to him I wouldn't want Denise in jail. Nope. Good ol fashioned street justice all the way!
Saying Mikes best friend sounds wrong to me. Call him what he is “mikes ex best friend.” Take murder out of the equation and marrying your widowed wife is far from a best friend
This story is NOT updated. It ended up that no one was arrested. But the *written* blurb showed the wife was arrested.. but NOT Mike's best friend... who ended up taking a "sweet-heart" deal by testifying against Denise, in order for *him* to get immunity.
I’m not sure if she did, but she did inherit all the life insurance and property money that her mother was awarded originally. When Denise Williams was sentenced all the inheritance she received went to her daughter. At the insistence of Mike’s family, Mike’s mother said he would want his daughter to be financially secure, so all the money went to Denise’s daughter. Also the daughter can’t help her mother with any legal fees or anything like that or else she would financially be penalized
@@AnalystManIssac like Denise she probably only cares about money. Women like Denise usually raise kids who are just as selfish , greedy and money hungry as the are. The apple never falls far 🍎
Every time that I come across this case,….it still just gives me chills, and just cannot believe how a spouse can have any part of the killing of someone that they loved enough to marry and plan a family with. Well, I can’t understand how anyone can kill another person,..unless it’s self defense of course. This one case is almost “the worst of the worst”, but there are others of course, just as bad. I would say that the most evil among all, is killing your own child or children! Unbelievable!💔
The wife is so guilty omgoodness…how much evidence though. Definitely glad that she got caught and punished for this horrific crime. The poor family for having to deal with this loss. RIP.

@@user-mv7kh5sv9z Because she thought she was slick. She was assuming no one would ever suspect her since she's the one that turned Brian in. She played her cards too confidently. Thought everyone would fall for the "white female damsel in distress" act.
After the divorce I'm positive Brian would've spilled the beans. Whether she turned him in or not. What I don't understand is WHY did he plead guilty to kidnapping her??
@@trawlins396 No - she was effed either way. Sending Brian to jail and fighting the conspiracy charge was better than the guarantee of being murdered by someone that had murdered already.
She was out of options. Brian WAS going to most probably murder her. Sending Brian to jail and fighting the conspiracy charge was better than the guarantee of being murdered by someone that had murdered already.
I remember when this happened and the wife was always suspected! I am so glad she went to jail for this! I'm so glad you got involved and brought a spotlight to this case!
Huh? Because she went to the police about her husband’s killer (her current husband) supposedly kidnapping her, he then made a deal with them for a lighter sentence. He told them all that happened and that’s how they managed it.
