Back collecting SD cards and enjoying the wild and peaceful conditions and scenery here in the Bayport Swamp out here near the Bayport Fishin' Shack....So take a walk on the wild side on the Florida Nature Coast!!
Good Day in Bali.....Thanks!! There are all sorts of critters running around the Wildlife Refuge here on the Florida Gulf Coast.....Enjoy the weekend!!
TheClastyle Munroe.....Thanks!! I've really enjoyed these trail cams and with over 50,000 acres to draw from I never know what's going to drop by for a photo op.....LOL... Have a great weekend!!
Urban Fisherman.....Thanks Freddy B!! This swamp out here is teaming with wildlife.....If it weren't for the Hogs I would have a tough time getting around.....Sea Ya!!
Hogs do great at clearing things and I remember we had quite a few out in Germany. One chased me once ..scary. Great footage Wes. And it's beautiful in there. ❤
Nicole Hikesalot.....Thanks!! I'm enjoying my hoofin' the swamp....There's so much to see back here and to find the best cam locations I'm really running around the place....Last Friday I spent 4 hours recovering SD cards and managed 128 videos in 2 weeks on 4 cams......The swamp is alive with critters!!
Go Midwest Fishing.....Thanks Rande!! If it wasn't for the hogs this area would be almost inaccessible .....I've now got the best of both worlds from Woods to Water less than 2 miles from the house!!😎
👍 #14 Hi Wes, it's exciting to retrieve the SD cards and when you see there's been 21 videos or whatever, there has to be something good on there. The quality of the video is great and you captured some great scenes. I always love Deer no matter where or what they are doing. And the Hogs fascinate me, as we don't have them here in the UK. I noticed the Barred Owl at the beginning and also an animal walking away in the distance... upper left. I'd get lost wandering into those bushes! I like these videos Wes, you just never know what to expect. Take care, my good friend. 👍◕‿◕
Wildlife & Birds UK.....Thanks Jane!! I'm getting use to stomping the Swamp.....Slow and steady get's me in and out without incidence!! When I retrieved the cards yesterday I got 120 videos in 2 weeks on 4 cams!! I've spent over 50 hours looking for cam locations and so far it's really paid off....I'm looking for Turkey's and Bears....I have yet to find any native snakes both venomous & non-venomous!! I've realized over the last couple of months the Hogs while invasive have their benefits....They allow me to traverse the area with not too much effort and by digging they are allowing other species to feed and water.....Also the foliage like Long Leaf Southern Pine has the ability to regenerate!! Now walking this area there is ample land to get turned around but there is a simple work around without a GPS, Flagging or Paint....I like leaving no foot print so the palm trees are native and when the frons die they can easily be used as a trail marker....It looks like a hand sticking in the mud....LOL!! Barred's and Great Horns are real prevalent here on the coast especially the Great Horn!! Have a great weekend!!
@@WesLovelace Slow and steady is the way for sure Wes. If you have a problem in the swamop, you'd better hope someone sees your boat, or you could be in big trouble there! But it is nothing that I wouldn't do myself either. The Hog's sure have their useage, I assume by making their trails too, it is semi trodden down for you to follow and leads to the best camera location sites. That's a real stroke of luck. If you manage to find either Owl nest, it would be a great place for one of your cameras. I admit to being a little jealous of your outdoor times, my good friend. I hope you have many more years of making great memories. Take care Wes. 👍◕‿◕
Randolph Relic Recovery.....Thanks Martin!! It's reel dry back in there right now.....no rain.....My yard is toast.....A fire in there now would be devastating with these high winds we've had!!
OFF Fishing.....Thanks BJ!! I just came out of the swamp.....Never even heard a skeeter.....It was dead calm until the wind got to howling....With no rain the swamp has gotten reel dry.....If the place started to burn it would go up like a torch!!
Wayn Jul.....Thanks!! I'm not so sure there aren't.... I know they have crossed I-4 outside of Tampa which would be about 60 miles SE of here.....If I could get that on a camera that would be a game changer up here.....The cams getting Panthers are in the Panther Refuge from Naples on the lower west coast to half way across Alligator(I-75) Alley....Bobcats are the best I can expect and there are a bunch out here.....I've got one that is on my security cam all the time and has been sleeping underneath my platform bird feeder in the backyard!!😎
Dpuck Fishing and Outdoors.....Thanks Dug!! My only concern is a big boar.....I just came out of the swamp and it's extremely dry.....If a fire were to occur the place would get toasted and I'd hate to see that!!
Drone Mafia Production.....Thanks!! I came out of the swamp just a little while ago.....It's disturbing to see just how dry it is....My yard is toast just like the area I was in.....Another fire would be impossible to control....I hope the state doesn't crank up another prescribed burn!!
@@dronemafiaproduction. No bears....I finally got a hen Turkey and 2 of the three does look like they are ready to drop + I changed a cam location .....Calm and quiet was the norm early this AM!!😎
J Allred Fishing.....Thanks!! I came out of there and it was dead calm plus with no rain this place is extremely dry and with the strong winds this place would go up like a torch if a fire started!! So far I haven't seen one reptile....The Eastern Diamondback is my only concern and I'm wearing snake boots.....I'm a slow walker when I'm looking around like I do.....Mostly all I have is peace and quiet.....My kind of morning!!
