Hi Sherrie- Congrats on your first video. You are the most entertaining person on FlossTube, and I like your stitching too. The Queen did toss off her shoes and wriggle her toes after a long day on parade in the heat in Australia- so said her aide de camp who was with her. So I think you're right she would have had a cuppa with you. I hope you continue with FlossTube, Congrats also on 11 years sober. It's an amazing achievement. My late mum god love her was from Ashington, born in Morpeth up there in the north so I can understand you no trouble! I must say one thing Sherrie I have NEVER come across anyone with so many WIPS!!! I am new to cross stitch, sewing, crochet, knitting but enjoy anything crafty!!? We had Scottish neighbours move onto our quiet little street ( Nova Scotia, Canada) where everyone dug up weeds meticulously. One Saturday not long after they moved in the dug up the front flower bed , even used a truck to pull out established flowering shrubs, pretty ones🤣😂 and proceeded to plant Thistles. Everyone was horrified because thistles were dug up before they cold grow much at all. I nearly peed myself at the looks on their faces. A few years later they moved out and the new owners weren’t long digging them out. Lovely video, love your projects, happy stitching🙋🏼‍♀️ Ps for white I use three threads or use dmc pearle 12👍🏼. My theory on the white problem is that they bleach the floss to get white which things the strand but the other colours get dyed which thickens the strand.

Great floss tube! Please do more. You and I have much in common. I have always wanted to see the Erika Michael’s Needleworker flat. Also that you use many different types/sizes of fabric is great! Most Floss-Tubers stick to one size and type.

Congrats on your first flosstube - can't wait to watch more! Apologies if this is overstepping a boundary, but I wanted to add: My mom's got one leg shorter, too (car wreck shattered one of her femurs) and the height difference started messing with her hip after a few years. It wasn't until I was a teenager that she started seeing a cobbler to add height to the shoes for her shorter leg! I'd hate to see it make your back worse, so I thought I'd suggest it if you haven't looked into it already. Again, apologies if this is a weird thing to say, lol. Can't wait to see more of your wips!

Wow Sherrie I'm pleased SewmeSarah mentioned you and I've laughed and enjoyed you sharing your WIPs etc. I'm so far through Strawberry Faire which is taking longer than expected! I'm a few stitches behind your Hive Rules and hope to begin I'd Rather be Stitching soon. I made one bag for myself and one for my daughter using the vinyl I'd bought but plain fabric to line as it gets hidden and haven't made another😮. I just use cheap plastic ones as I'd rather spend on supplies for all the different stitching crafts I've done over the years and they've not suffered. I was advised to use Anchor threads for Blackwork rather than DMC. I began 'Rejoice Evermore' on 40ct but struggled to stitch the border first (I usually begin in the centre) then discovered I should only be using one thread so ordered another skein to continue stitching the design in case I run out later. My eyes (beginnings of cataracts) won't let me do too much so think it will take years before a ff🙃.

Love Mother Nature take on covid being a time out, sit in your house and think about what you’re doing 😂. Can’t wait for floss-tube number 2 , I chuckled all the way through this 😊

Im in Australia and you popped up on my youtube feed and I am so very glad you did!! You are amazing, loved the show and the chat and subscribed straight away. My very 1st finish was Quaker Pumpkins by Hello from Liz Mathews, and I absolutely love it, there are some mistakes in it but I dont care, only I know that they are there!! It’s now framed and on my wall. Im now doing Hackstraw ridge and a small called Remember me pin-keep by Scattered Seed Samplers, I nearly finished the 1st page and I love it.
