Welcome to my flosstube channel. This is a video about cross stitch projects and what I've been stitching this week. instagram - @elizabethanncanstitch email - elizabethanncanstitch@gmail.com
I love Liberty Inn. I love Suffrage Act Proclaimed too. My husband says he is so glad women were granted voting rights because it just doubles his voting power 😏 Stacy Nash “gathering the greens” ❤❤❤ Those sweet sleds are heirloom ornaments, so sweet!
Loved your first and second flosstube! The stocking you are working on for yourself is the one my mom had when I was a girl. I showed it on my flosstube and tried to find which one it was but I gave up. Can only watch myself just so much 😂. I’m off to watch your third flosstube now😊
Great job on your first video. You did great. I like that it was clean and no cussing. Love your cat bag so cute. Stitching looks great. Some other great floss tube to watch is stitchingmommy, blitstitch, jan hicks, offthegridneedleworker.God bless.im working on forest grew and it has over 100 floss colors
I have The Blackberry House and I want to start it and probably 25 other things! (smile) Your 1st video was GREAT (like Tony the Tiger). It is so nice to see ALL well, not all of your WIPS, but one day WIP parade. That is my next faze; get these projects FFO'd. That is going to take some planning, and some JUST DO IT!! I have a feeling you are going to welcomed very quickly into this community. HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERY DAY IN 2020!!
Hello new stitchy friend, welcome to Floss Tube. Oh good gravy, I think you did a MARVELOUS job on your first video. So calm and collected. You came in like a lamb and then ROAR!!!! you showered us with amazingly beautiful pieces of cross stitch. Gosh, I am Sew Grateful I stumbled upon you & all your goodness and inspiration!. I can't wait to share your name with some friends. Happy Stitching, your new friend, Daleen
Hi Elizabeth! I really enjoyed your first floss tube video. You are a natural! All of your projects are just beautiful. We have very similar tastes and I am a quilter and English Paper piecer but I am new to cross stitch so I have a lot to learn and I need a lot of practice. I love your eye for framing too. They all look great. Just subscribed and off to watch your 2nd video. Happy Stitching!
Great video! I have subscribed and look forward to your videos. Congratulations on your stocking finish! It is absolutely beautiful! You are a joy to watch.
Hi Elizabeth! Thank You for the lovely shout out :) I have been enjoying several of your videos this week. So fun to see all your wonderful stitching!!!
First of all you are a wonderful stitcher. I was watching Pam and Steph yesterday, they were recommending your Flosstube and wow impressed. Love your project bags to. Love all your projects, my kind but especially love your Plum Street Blackberry House I bet your mom is very proud of you. I did subscribe to your shows thank you so much can’t wait to watch your other ones take care!
Watched your latest flosstube video and I had to go back to the beginning... I lalalalove all your projects!! You are awesome and will watch all your flosstube videos 🤗
Welcome to flosstube! It’s pretty much what I watch during the day LOL. Love your stitching & all your WIPS, very similar taste. Noticed you were from Cedar Park, I live in New Braunfels. Not to far away 😉 I’m glad I found your channel. Check out Pumpkin Hollow Quilts, Olivia does cross stitch & quilts. Happy Stitching! 🧵✂️
Hi Elizabeth, welcome to flosstube! I enjoyed my visit with you and seeing all your beautiful finishes and WIPs. I would love to see a WIP parade! I too have many WIPs - i stitch something for two days and then move on to the next project. Looking forward to your next video. Happy stitching! Lori at Once Upon a Stitch
Just stumbled upon your Flosstube and loved it! You did a fantastic job and are so sweet. Our taste in projects are the same so I really enjoyed your finishes and seeing your fabric choices. Where did you order your custom frames? They really went great with your pieces. Hope you will be able to keep track of what fabrics and threads you use as this is always so helpful when sharing with others. I look forward to your future videos! Thank you for taking the time to share about yourself, too!
Oh thank you! I order frames from FrameUSA.com or Arttoframes.com or on etsy I just search custom size frames. It can be tricky to order online and end up with something you like but I've definitely gotten better at it.
Yes Clueless! Give me allll the Paul Rudd. Love the extra frame you had, it looks perfect for that piece. Consider the Lilies is absolutely gorgeous, I’m looking forward to seeing your progress on it. Great video, so glad to have found your videos 💕🧵
Welcome to Flosstube! This was a great first video - I love everything you are stitching. Those stockings are amazing! I have one started but it's languishing in the WIP pile, lol. Hope to see you again soon!
I don’t mind the wrinkles. Every time you iron your piece it sets the oils from your hands into the fabric and since you cannot wash your finished piece if you have used silks, hand-dyed, and even some unstable DMC colors the oils are permanent and become more visible with each passing year. I had never seen the Lizzie Kate “Summer Smalls” that you showed, so now I am on the hunt for that chart! Your finish was that inspiring. 😊😊😊
Hi Elizabeth.. loved your first video! I love all of your finishes and WIPS. I watch all of the same Flosstube that you do....I will be looking forward to your next video...happy stitching!
Hello from Seguin, Tx! Great first video...love all your projects! My mom did the stocking you did for yourself for my youngest daughter and the one you are doing for you boyfriend she did for my nephew...she has actually done six in total I believe for all the grandkids! They turn out so beautiful. If you haven't already joined, look up San Antonio Area Stitchers on facebook....I am sure there is an Austin group too but as soon as this covid thing is over we meet once a month (usually at Stitches from the Heart but it moves around) and Austin isn't that far ;-). Just found your instagram and followed b/c I am on instagram more than fb. Happy stitching and looking forward to seeing your progress!
oh that's awesome! I first saw the stockings on Brenda, Handworkmaniac's channel because she stitched them for all of her kids and their spouses, I know i needed that quilters studio stocking for myself! I really need to come down and check out the San Antonio Needlework shops as soon as everything is back to a little more normal!
Hi Elizabeth - great flosstube and I love all your finishes, wips and next in line projects. You named some of my favorite flosstubers, so it's always fun to find someone that you share the same "likes" with. Have a great week and i look forward to #2.
Found you through Kathleen at Stitchuation Normal & I am now obsessed with all of your stitching!! Such gorgeous pieces, especially your Consider the Lilies!! (I also LOVE The Office, so can we be friends? 😉)
Welcome to floss tube, Elizabeth. Your video was great! It was so exciting to see a younger person so enthusiastic about needlework. Your design stitching is very pretty. Looking forward to your next video!
I loved that I found you. Your first floss tube was amazing. You are so personable. Your blackberry house is wonderful. I enjoyed seeing all of your work.
I learned about you from watching the ladies of Stitching Social. I love all of your projects and decided to subscribe. You are easy to listen to and your love of cross stitch is wonderful to see. Can’t wait to binge on the rest of your videos!
Hi Elizabeth. It was great to watch your first video! You did a marvelous job. Loved all the projects you are working on as we have similar tastes! Can't wait to see your next video!
Hi, Elizabeth! Welcome to FlossTube! Your finishes and WIPS are lovely, and I wish I’d been half as composed as you on my first video! I finished BlackBerry House a couple of years ago; seeing yours reminds me that I need to get it framed. Looking forward to your next video!
Well hello from Blanco, Texas. Glad to see you on floss tube. Your work is beautiful and frame choice is just perfect. I also prefer one thread. I really like your pattern choices....some I have not seen. Looking forward to many more videos!!
Nice first video. I like all your projects! I have a theory that most people named some version of Elizabeth have some version of Ann as their middle name - I'm Elizabeth Annette and I also went to school with a Beth Ann, and know various other people with various combinations of those names. :-) Anyway, welcome aboard!
Welcome to floss tube! I could tell after only couple of minutes that I will be subscribing to your channel. You have beautiful projects and it will be fun to watch them come together. Happy Stitching!
Great video and love all your finishes and WIP’s. I did several stockings from the Cross Stitch magazines which I still have and my boys hang theirs up every year still. My friend helped me finish them. We lined them with muslin and then used a cranberry corduroy and they are still holding up from the 80’s. Your Consider the Lilies is beautiful and glad to hear there is another upper right starter. That’s the way I start all my projects. Your linen choices are beautiful. I am glad to hear you talk about the Tin Roof for I like the Zweigart base so once I get all the threads, I will pick out a linen. Looking forward to the next video.
Love all your pieces! I recognize a few from my stash too! 😀👍 love hearing about new flosstubes and Pam and Steph from #justkeepstitchin shouted you out so I had to come see! If I stitched as much as I watch flosstube id have a lot more finished objects haha! Look forward to watching your progress. Great first video.
Well I learned cross stitching as a little kid with plastic canvas projects and then did some Aida projects off and on through highschool and college, but I’ve been fully back into stitching since late 2015
elizabethanncanstitch thats so neat. I stitched in the 80s and put it down for almost 30 years until a friend reminded me of the craft so i started back hard again about two years ago! I went a little crazy on the purchasing & have so many things I want to start including Teresa Koguts Land that I love and Beth twists eye on the sparrow and consider the lilies! I have not started any yet but have them kitted. Just a little nervous to start so many and give them all equal love! Maybe starting a flosstube will help me with that! I love to quilt and crochet too!! Do all the things! 😜
Hello! Just found your videos and really enjoyed watching this one. Your WIPS are so pretty and that stocking...wow! Look forward to watching your other video. Take care! 😊
Good first video. I am stitching Consider The Lilies too. I start in the upper left hand corner. 14 count aida. You are further along than me. I can't wait to see another video.
Just heard about your channel from Lisa (Crossed in Floss), so happy to be here! All of your projects are so beautiful! The stockings are gorgeous. I can't believe this is your first video, you're so good at it! I'm going to watch #2 now! Thanks so much for sharing and take care.
How fun. I just stumbled across your channel. I’ve been making videos for a few years with a break for some time it’s so nice to come across new floss tubers. Your finishes are so pretty. I look forward to more videos.
Welcome to flosstube!! I am loving your projects!! I recently started filming again and am on a similar spot on Consider the Lilies as you! I definitely understand the getting it out on the weekend! So much floss and so much fabric! ❤️❤️ great first video!
Love your stitching!! Beautiful finishes and wips!! I love your pretty floral curtains behind you. Did you make them?? The stockings are SO cute! I would love to watch how you finish them...like a tuturial!! I love lots of wips! But I'm such a slow stitcher. Oh well....cross stitch is my favorite thing to do!! See you soon... 😊😊
