Elizabeth, Elizabeth, do not be so hard on yourself. You work, you have a home, you have a husband, you are so much like many of us!.don’t feel bad, I started an 8 month quilt a row along and guess what, it was over a few months ago and I only have the first five rows completed. I am in total awe of how much stitching you get done from week to week. I enjoy your Floss Tube videos, you make me laugh and realize we are all similar in that we have much stitching and quilting to do, and just never enough time. Your family is just wonderful! Please never stop making these videos! You are inspirational and fun!
Hello - your RU-vid made me laugh and it made me sad. You do so much for us and are so kind with all your tutorials and giveaways - you should be kind to yourself too. I love watching you. your sisters made me laugh, they look like a huge bundle of fun. you are blessed, I have 2 ginger tom cats too and they are a whole load of trouble. Remember you are loved, and valued and give so much joy to so many (just remember to leave some joy for you too) xx
Give yourself some slack! Like you said this is a hobby to enjoy! I’ve found that my quilting/sewing skills and tools have crossed over to my stitching in finishing pieces and project bag making. Do what makes you happy at the time and don’t stress over it! I enjoyed this format very much and always love seeing your family and kitties! Can’t wait to see the new bag for retreat! Happy stitching!
Liz, like you, WIPGO sometimes just takes over and I get consumed with it!. BUT I love seeing what I've accomplished and having those whips done! My problem is I love doing so many crafts. Loved seeing you and your sisters laughing. My sister passed unexpectedly and I miss those laughs. You are an inspiration and you make my day.🌄😁 I love how you roll with the punches when you make a mistake and still can laugh about it. The spool idea is great.
Hey can you add your quilting to your wipgo board? Do 8 days on a cross stitch and 2 days on the sewing a quilt for your 10 day stretch . How about working on Sundays on your sewing think of something you can do to add to your schedule. Stay happy about all this you are doing great. Spread out your projects and keep smiling..... Love the content and how you laid out the big cross stitch on the table we were able to see it great. Say hi to all the girls we love to see them too! Hugs from Minnesota
Love your videos/blog now. Quite an entertaining one this time. I like the whole day scenario. Your tutorials are always the best. Don’t sweat the little things. I recommend them to many stitchers!
Hi Liz! Cute n fun video with your sisters!! I bet it was so fun to hang out!! 😃 Love your tutorials....they are great!! And I think doing the framing yourself adds even more character!! Who wants perfection?? Even though everything you do, is so perfect!! 🩷🩷 Love your cute striped ❤ top! Great video!! 😊🌞
Like that you mixed things up a bit. Fun to get a glimpse of your family and kitties. Thank you for doing the walk through of finishing tiny town and pinning and framing your sampler.
You and your sisters are so dang funny what are my favorite videos of yours is the one where you answer the questions with you and your sisters that was hysterical!
Sweet to see your sister and family fun. Thank you so much for your setting up your finished cross stitch projects. Hope you have a great retreat and making your travel bag.
Hi Liz don’t put pressure on yourself! Remember this is your craft ? This is suppose to be fun. Life happens you know. So it will get done when it gets done. Be kind to yourself.
Yes! Let go of all the pressure and do what calls to you. That’s the goal; not finishes or content or sew alongs. This video is just as fun as your others. I appreciate all the information and enjoy getting to know you more. ❤
I love it when you and your sisters get together😂. I liked the video format today! It kept it fresh and moving! Your Wipgo stitches for this month look great! Don't let your goals tie you down. Crafting is supposed to be fun and a stress reliever! The goal should be to enjoy what you're doing😄. We're not keeping score on you 😂 it's always fun seeing what you've been working on no matter what it is! Have a great week!
I understand falling behind in your quilting while stitching. I have that problem. Then I fall behind in my stitching while I Quilt. We need more time in the days! beautiful work on your WIPs
Liz, I LOVED the vlog format of this video! It’s fun to get a little peek behind the scenes and of daily life. And yes, feel free to change the colors on Time to Spill - I would love to see what you come up with!
I love seeing your comfortable videos. You showed your WIPS in a great view. The tutorials you do are always great. The laughter you have with your sisters is wonderful. I have the same with mine. Keep up the good videos.
I love your chat today, totally can relate about being ambitious on the crafty goals and feeling the pressure. In the end, we want to enjoy this craft, so we should not push too much that it takes away the joy. You are already doing so much! And i love whichever format. You’re always a joy to watch and listen to.
Wow what a show - AMAZING!!! Loved everything, awesome progress on your cross stitch and dont concern yourself with the slow progress of your quilting, its fine sweetie dont be too hard on yourself ok, we all understand the madness that is crafting LOL
Go for it. You can definitely do partial seams. Really not difficult in my opinion. Don't you be stressing over your crafting. It's all about the fun. Crafting should never be stressful.
Your Consider the Lilies looks great! I started this recently and have never attempted something so ginormous. I love seeing others' work on this. Thanks!
I really enjoyed the vlog style flosstube!! It was kinda behind the scenes style! Your finishes are amazing! I have a piece that I want to try pinning to frame it and watching this helped me a lot!
Fun video. You absolutely CAN do partial seams. There’s nothing to it. You will be surprised and feel so accomplished when you complete a block that has one. Pam
Always love your videos. Good to mixup the styles once in a while. Whatever works best for you. Great to see your large WIPs-beautiful work! Don’t be too hard on yourself-enjoy your stitching or crafting. Life happens😊
I love the Vlog style, and the spool tutorial. I think I am going to have to ring the bell for notify on Fat Quarter shop I have not seen one of there videos in a long time. Have a awesome day!
I loved your video blog - moving around from place to place (even the bathroom!) being so impromptu - it was a fun time - oh, good way to show larger projects
Liz the enabler! Always have my pen and paper ready to go! Vlog style works, really not that different but love the sister time giggling! I’m doing some finishing this weekend and I I’ll be using your tutorials ❤️
This was a very fun video! I think you covered all the bases and then some, good job! Your tutorial for Blooming Tiny Town was so helpful as was the tutorial for framing your little red sampler. Nicely done! ❤
I really enjoyed your vlog style video, and enjoyed watching your tutorials! I have now decided on starting the tiny towns since seeing how cute on the spool! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
Great video enjoyed the intro with your sisters 😂 congrats 🎉 on your ffo’s they are so beautiful thank you for sharing your tutorial it’s so helpful! Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Fun video! I enjoyed the format, but maybe for occasional videos. I like your usual format the best. Loved all your finished pieces and tutorials. You do a great job! Fun WIPs too. I'm also stitching Consider the Lilies. Don't be too hard on yourself for not staying up on you QAL - the quilting bug will "bite" again and you will get going on it when the time is right. Take care and Happy Stitching/Quilting!
Hi Liz, your finishes are always amazing and I love the way you finished the Tiny Towns. Thank you for sharing the tutorial on how to finish those, I will surely try that. Take care.
I love the sister time! Laughing is always good for the soul. I'll be at Stitch North the end of April too with a friend. We'll get to meet you. Have a great week.
love this video.... Also I did like the way you displayed your W.I.P. s. Tutorial for tiny town was great. I just ordered The Christmas and Valentine Tiny Town Charts. thankyou for sharing. Nightie night. ❤
My sisters and I are so crazy silly when we get together so I was feeling the giggles for sure! Going to stitch north as well so I hope I get a chance to meet you there! Loved the video❤
Wow loved ALL your stitching and framing tutorial thank you. Thank you for bringing up front regarding completing cross stitch and quilting I have been stressed to and wondering felt overwhelming and beating myself up . Appreciate you very much thank you
Love the Tiny Town tutorial ❤️. The only thing I can think of to cover the raw ends of the elastic is to make a tab to put them in to sew on the binding strip before attaching the binding to the project.
I loved your video format!! It was a little bit of this and a little bit of that and it really held my attention. Loved your finishes on your little town
