Vonna suggested visiting with you and I am so pleased to have found you. I have begun watching your floss tubes from the beginning. Thank you for sharing with us-it is so inspiring.
🦋 Thankyou so much for coming over to my little spot. Vonna is a treasure to the stitching community that’s for sure. I wish you very Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
Just discovered your videos. Vonna Pfeiffer mentioned how wonderful your channel was and so here I am. I thoroughly enjoyed your video along with the history lesson. I will add anyone CAN avoid the commercials and ads free. All you do is add a hyphen after the T in youtube. From there you will click on the blue highlighted area that will pop up under the same link for your video. It is wonderful. I dislike the ads also and am happy you do too. Onto looking at your other videos! Happy stitching!
What a treat to be referred to you by Vonna! Your stitching is so inspiring and beautiful!! I wonder how long it will take to watch all of your 117 other flosstubes?!😊 I’m looking forward to the joy of sharing your journey! I love your gridding and know it will help me! I’m struggling with my first HAED the Stitching shelf…this should help!! Thank you!
🦋 Hi Susan and Thankyou very much for your kind words. I cannot imagine tackling a haed without gridding. I am sure I would be hopelessly lost in no time, so you have my admiration for having a go without it. I wish you every success. Happy Stitching! xx:):)😕
I was watching Vonna who mentioned your channel, so glad that she did. I loved your content and conversation, I was beginning to feel the same way about Aida after watching so many floss tubes that I should be stitching on linen. My go to is Aida especially for full coverage.
🦋 Hi Mandy ~ Thankyou for your company. I don’t think you can beat 18 count for full coverage, unless you want a very fine skin effect for the faces, then one over one 28 count is the go for me ~ but it is nowhere as easy as 18 count. I will go into that a bit more in my next video! Happy Stitching xx:):)🌹
Very enjoyable video, I loved stitching along to this. Your Fancy Boots is looking fantastic! I also appreciate the magazine flip through, and the helpful tips. Thank you for sharing, and for your husband’s efforts in producing.
I like 14 count too. I use 18 count on some large projects, full coverages that are like 24 inches by 29 inches. But if I can I use 14 count to save my poor old eyes.
Yay!! I have been patiently (well not so patiently) for your next vlog. So sorry you and Harlequin havn't been well. Whilst waiting I have learnt so much from your other vlogs and just wanted to thank you. I now know new techniques and the history of so many things - the most interesting Flosstubes I've watched. Fancy Boots is even more jawdropping - absolutely wonderful! So pleased to watch you again! xx 🥰
Hello Mary Rose, I’m sorry to learn you and your Groom have gone through covid. I am thankful you’re feeling better. I have missed you, but now I know the reason you hadn’t dropped in. Your work on ‘Fancy Boots’ is so beautiful, and your stitches are perfectly uniform. I love the window and door casements, and everything in the room seems sumptuously rich. It will be a fine addition to your gallery-which also serves as your home. It was such a pleasure to see you again…thank you!
🦋 Thankyou so much for sharing your thoughts joAnn, and for your well wishes. The Fancy Boots piece certainly is sumptuously rich isn’t it? ~ very well put. I hope that you are enjoying your stitching and that 2023 is turning out to be a great year for you and yours. xx:):)🌹
So happy your video popped up for me to try! Feels like I’m visiting an old friend and wanted to comment on so much of what you chatted about. Your fancy shoes is absolutely amazing and I so enjoyed seeing the progress. My hubby and I started out the New Year with Covid also. We, too, had very different symptoms. Happy to hear your hubby’s eyesight is getting better. With how I love to stitch and quilt losing eyesight is frightening for me! I’m going to go back now and get to know you better through your older videos. Happy stitching from Oklahoma, USA
🦋 Hi Sandy ~ Thankyou so much for joining me for stitchy things. I hope that you and your husband are progressing well after experiencing the dreaded lurgy. I am very much enjoying this piece. Quite a lot of my older videos have me coming off a bit wooden and school marmish I think. This is because I was watching every word I said because Harlequin (husband) had not got into editing at that stage and I would have to start all over again if I had a slip of the tongue! Happy Stitching to you. xx:):)🌹
Fancy Boots is beautiful! And AMEN to the comment on fabrics and Aida….chaps my bottom when I know others feels that one must stitch on linen in order to be a stitcher. Wrong! You are always solid and full of good advice and good solid information. I am so glad that you both survived Covid without too much difficulty. I hope that you both see gains in healthful full recovery soon. Hugs to you and thank you for your video❤❤
🦋 Many thanks Vonna. You are never too far away in my thoughts and I wish you and your family well always. I think that you connect with the Amish so well because of your abiding faith and that manifests itself in the simple joy and serenity that you experience when you sit and look at your Amish stitched pieces. That serenity and joy is a gift to you from God to strengthen you. Your wisdom is growing as the years go by ~ also a gift💕 xx:):)🌹
I so love it when I see a new video update from you! So glad that you are both feeling better. Being sick is never good and having you both sick is the worst. Your stitching is beautiful as always. The detail is amazing. Thank you for the walk through the magazine too. 😊
I so enjoy your videos. You are so well spoken. Your "Fancy Shoes " is incredible. Just beautiful. I did not know anything about Q-C and K-C. You are such a treasure. People who haven't found or watched your channel are missing out! I also noticed your butterfly shirt and scarf.
🦋 Thankyou so very much for your kind words. It seems that nice gentle folk such as yourself find my channel and we all have a connection because of it. Happy Stitching and Blessings to you and yours. xx:):)🌹
Glad you are both on the mend. Love your progress on your wip. Thank you for the flip through. I have not seen this one before. Take care. Happy stitching!
So good to see you again, Mary Rose, and glad you and Harlequin made it through covid !! 😁 👍 Fancy Boots is stunning! I've never seen a cross stitch as beautiful. ❤❤❤ You are such an inspiration. I just started stitching a Heaven and Earth Design, my first, called 'Spirit of Winter Robin'. I saw Darren stitching it ( Dizzy Stitcher flosstube) and thought, "if Mary Rose has the courage to stitch full coverages, I'm going to give it a whirl!" 😆😆 Thank you for that. Darren, by the way, lives in Australia as well. Love your channel, and thank you for sharing your cross stitch magazine with us. Happy Stitching! ❤
🦋 Give it a whirl Gigi! I have had a look at your Robin and he looks lovely. He reminds me of The Secret Garden. Very tempting indeed and I can see why you chose him. Robins are such a winter joy aren’t they? Just keep pushing on with your stitching. A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step….and just think how glorious he will look on your wall! Good luck xx:):)🌹
So glad you both are feeling better! Your fancy boots is breathing taking! You make me feel better about using aida as I am just now using 16 count . I just started stitching about a year ago. I am from the US but I love to keep up with the royals. Thanks for the magazine flip through.
🦋 Hi Shirley! I like 16 count Aida as well. I have used it a few times. I just cannot put Fancy Boots down, so he and his co stars are taking shape apace. I hope you are enjoying your stitching and Thankyou so much for stopping by. I am thinking of doing an Edward VIII flip thru in my next update but we will see. xx:):)🌹
Hi Mary Rose! I so enjoy your videos. Your voice is very relaxing to listen to and your stitching is absolutely amazing. I myself do not do full coverage pieces but have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for the amount of work and dedication that goes into them. They truly are a work of art. And I wholeheartedly agree with you about it being a stressful world to bring up children in. I have a 7 year old little girl and my prayer for her is that she would grow up to know, trust and love the Lord more than anything else. God bless you and your family and thank you for the video! 💕
🦋 Thankyou for sharing Kim, and for your company. I have always felt that children feel the safest and therefore less stressed if their parents are that - parents and don’t try to be their friends. Children are too young to take on the responsibility of deciding everything for themselves in my view. They seem to be happiest with a nice routine and the freedoms they can cope with as they grow up. It is difficult no doubt, but you sound as though you have a very good solid base for your parenting and I wish you and your family all the good things filled with God’s Good Graces. xx :):)🌹
So glad to hear you and Harlequin are mostly recovered. I hope you both recover completely soon. Fancy boots looks amazing, all those details! I am working on my first full coverage and am enjoying using Pattern Keeper. Take care and thanks for sharing.
🦋 Thankyou so much for your company. Lovely to hear that you are working on your first full coverage ~ I am sure it will look great on your wall! We seem to be over the dreaded malady now, and Harlequin has even been quite cheeky lately! lol Happy Stitching xx:):)🌹
It is a joy to see you and fancy boot again. I am so glad you survived COVID I don't seem to get that kind of thing but then I have had radiation to the head and that has destroyed most of my head, so I don't get any of the normal sicknesses. It has been such a treat to hear from you, and thank you for saying that if you don't want to finish it, don't feel guilty. I have an Armenian rug unfinished because I had tumors that took a good deal of strength away for pulling on the weft threads.
🦋 Hello to you! Thankyou for stopping by. It sounds as though you have been through a lot health wise, so unfair. My daughter and I have decided that we are no longer going to feel guilty about anything, and every time we do feel we are going to, we are to make a pretend loud buzzer noise ( like the Family Feud buzzer) in our minds to stop us doing it immediately. It has worked pretty well so far! Happy Stitching to you xx:):)🌹
Mary Rose, so good to see your video pop up in my feed. Enjoyed the flip through. A couple of those really looked like you. Glad to know you and your hubby are doing well. God bless.
🦋 Thankyou so very much and Bless you and your loved ones! You are such a beautiful soul. That flip through was fun, and I surprised myself even getting that magazine as I don’t really stitch houses ~ and it’s full of them! lol. xx:):)🌹
Hello Mary Rose, you are making great progress with Fancy Shoes. It’s beautiful. You will be happy to know that there was no ads during your flosstube. Hope your hubby makes a full recovery soon. Bernie Ireland ☘️
🦋 Hi Bernadette, so glad to hear about no ads! You may be interested to know that it was a childhood dream of mine to marry an Irish farmer and live there. Ireland is so beautiful. Fate decreed otherwise which is probably just as well ~ I don’t think a farmer’s wife would get much stitching in! Lol. I hope you have much joy of your stitching. xx:):)🌹
@@stitchblisscorner well Mary Rose I am married to an Irish Farmer, but I don’t have to do a lot of work on the farm 🙏🏻 so I try and stitch as much as I can. 😀
Hello Mart Rose, so glad to hear you’re recovering from the dreaded Covid. We had it last May and it does kick your rear that’s for sure. Your fancy boots piece is absolutely stunning. I didn’t realize it was that big. I admire your ability to stitch such a large piece. I totally agree with you about stitching on aida. I prefer it especially as my eyes get older. It was nice to visit with you again and hope you and harlequin continue to recover. Take care.
🦋 Thankyou very much for joining me Diane. This stitch is so enjoyable, I find it hard to put down. Even covid only interrupted it for 3 days! Lol I hope you are also enjoying your stitching and that all is well with you and yours. xx:):)🌹
Great to see you again. I love seeing the world from your point of view, your sense of humour is brilliant 😂 Fancy Boots is coming to life one row at a time. The detail is stunning through the camera. May speedy recovery & steady improved health reside in your home. I’ve been stitching for 30 years & back in the day before snagnabits were invented, I used to use a Woden toothpick to accomplish the same task. If only I had been more of an entrepreneur in my youth 😆 🙋♀️🇨🇦
🦋 How clever of you to use a toothpick - no supply problems either lol. Thankyou very much for your well wishes. I hope all goes well with you both in life and all your stitchy endeavours! xx:):)🌹
My husband and I are considering the bubble idea-Keeping up with the craziness that doesn’t affect our daily life is making me nuts and negatively affecting me-I LOVE your channel-you are the calm in the storm-your stitching is so beautiful and your videos are like chatting with an old friend. I appreciate you so much❤
🦋 Many, many thanks for your sharing. I know that our serenity levels are now a top priority for us. I used to be very much on top of current affairs and politics, but I found that my beliefs and opinions were so opposite to prevailing trends that I was better off tuning out all together and concentrating on my stitching. Some of my opinions do tend to slip out in my videos on occasion though! Harlequin is a little more resilient than me, so he keeps an eye on things in case I really need to know something. I hope you are enjoying your stitching and the quiet calm that it invokes. Blessings sent. xx:):)🌹
🦋 Covid is a very strange thing to go through that’s for sure, each person seems to experience it differently ~ my sister breezed through it after sneezing for a day or so ~ weird! All the Best and Happy Stitching xx:):)🌹
Hi Mary Rose. So lovely to see you pop up again. Good to hear that you & Harlequin are both on the mend. Eye problems can be very scary can’t they & Covid is a gift that just keeps on giving for weeks 🙄🥴My friend caught it at the beginning of the pandemic & hasn’t been able to smell a thing since. But, like he says, it’s a small loss in the grand scheme of things. Fancy Boots is looking amazing!! I so love your beautiful stitching. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤️So interesting about KC, I hadn’t thought about that. I’m with you on the ‘bubble’ philosophy. Once I realised that shouting at the television didn’t change a darned thing I was much happier🤣🤣 Looking forward to seeing next Fancy Boots instalment. Stay well & Take care Mary Rose ❤
🦋 Thankyou so very much for your company Val. Covid is a very strange illness and your friend is right to think that it could be worse. Harlequin and I are very thankful that at our age we have come through it reasonably ok (so far anyway) The temptation of the boot through the tv is absolutely applicable in this household also. I won’t look at the tv unless it’s a daffy program of absolute nonsense escapism - and that is pretty rare. I like watching my selected dvd collection in the stitchy room of programs and films that I like. Now that, my stitching and a nice milky coffee is my idea of heaven! Happy and joyful stitching to you. xx:):)🌹
It's always a joy when I see your videos pop up. Sorry to hear you and Harlequin have been poorly. Glad your both on the mend. Great progress on fancy boots/fancy hat as he'll now be referred to. Thanks for encouraging aida stitches I stitch on aida because of old eyes😄. It's great when I find a flosstuber that stitches on it. I loved the flip through the magazine the stitch with all the steps down to the harbour looks like Clovelly in Devon a beautiful little seaside place. Well until the next time enjoy your stitching and tell Harlequin to keep improving with his eyes.
🦋 Hi christine ~ thanks for sharing. I used to love the sound of the sea gulls on the English coast. There is nothing like it. Harlequin and I were lucky enough to live in Leeds for about 5 years in the 2000’s decade, we had to return to Australia for family reasons, otherwise we would still be there. Harlequin is Australian and he loved it there. We really liked Whitby and Harlequin gave me some Whitby jet earrings at Christmas. Happy Stitching to you. xx:):(🌹
Hi Mary Rose, your stitching is lovely. I agree with you on the issue of Aida. After all most of us start our stitching lives on a piece of Aida. And where would we be without good old DMC. I'm glad to know you are feeling well. Also love the project Harlequin gave you.
🦋 Thankyou very much for stopping by. DMC is such a reliable thread ~ I don’t use anything else, unless it is in a kit, and even then I sometimes use DMC instead of a kit thread! I hope that you are enjoying your stitchy time. xx:):)🌹
So lovely to see you again Mary Rose and I'm very sorry to hear about Harlequin and yourself being unwell. I hope you're both feeling much better now x. 'Fancy boots' is looking amazing and the colours are gorgeous. I'm still working on my two biggest projects Mary Rose - my Disney piece (for my niece) if you recall me mentioning and The Nativity by Heaven & Earth Designs (Max Colour)... Both are coming on lovely, but The Nativity one I'm particularly proud of as it's being stitched 1 over 1 on 28 count which is proving a challenge at times (especially with the lighter colours). Both have a combined total of almost 2 million stitches, so quite a challenge, but like you said, it HAS to be enjoyable, otherwise it will become a chore and like yourself, I've started a few pieces and made great progress on a few before losing the enthusiasm for them. Thank you for sharing with us again Mary Rose. Best wishes, Chris Xx
🦋 Hi Christopher, Harlequin and myself are feeling very much better. I must say that I have had my eye on that particular nativity scene for quite some time and I think it is truly enchanting, and ver hard to resist. I stitched Skating minister on 28 count and I hear you very loudly when it comes to it being a challenge! It will very much be worth it though! I am getting closer to finishing the present row on Fancy Boots and hope to update around late April. Until then, thankyou so much for letting me know about your stitching progress and take care. xx:):)🌹
@@stitchblisscorner Hi Mary Rose, I'm very sorry for the late reply, I've just checked my notifications x. I'm glad you've taken a look at the HAED Nativity piece and isn't it gorgeous! It captured me the minute I saw it. I was looking at a few different themes, but when I saw it, just had to buy the chart and it's coming on nicely. One day, I will definitely upload a video of it's completion. I remember Skating Minister Mary and loved it. I recall you saying how much of a challenge it was stitching such a high count, but what results! Such a lovely piece that and you must be so proud of it 👍🏻. It's really great to see you again Mary Rose and I still go back to watch your earlier uploads. I love them and watched your upload on Mary, Queen of Scots again the other night. She was such an incredible stitcher and the solace she must have gained from it to pass the time locked away in the dreaded tower, I can't even imagine, but then as stitchers, it isn't too difficult to imagine I would think as we all know how much inner peace it gives us. Many thanks again Mary Rose and all the best to you and Harlequin....and thank you for coming back and for your continued videos and sharing of your progress, Chris Xx
🦋 Hi Judie! I promise to measure the exact size once the piece is finished. It is 77 pages. I am getting a little bit excited now I have to say, as there are only 2 more rows of pages to go, and I am on row 3 and I’m just stitching Fancy Boot’s hair ~ very satisfying indeed. Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
Lovely to see you and your stitching. Fancy boots is certainly coming along. Sorry to hear about you and Harlequin getting covid. Thankfully your feeling better. I agree with you about 18 count aida. I have several full coverage pieces on 18 count and think it's favourite fabric for full coverage. Till next time, take care 🙂
Nice to see your beautiful stitching. Happy to hear you both have made it over the dreaded C. I truly enjoy your u-tube. I always learn something ,it could be stitching or HISTORY. Thank you
🦋Thankyou so much fog your company Barbara, it’s amazing what subjects pop up in my videos, it’s as much a surprise to me as it probably is to everyone else 😆 Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
🦋 You did make me laugh Patricia ~ I understand perfectly. Unfortunately for me, that piece was rolling round like a marble in my head and it would not pop out, despite all my best efforts! I suppose stitching must always be in the eye of the beholder, especially when it is one that size. Happy Stitching and Bless you both. xx :):)🌹
It has been awhile since I’ve seen you. For some reason you were unsubscribed. ☹️ But, Vonna mentioned you today and I had to go search you out. It was a pleasure to catch up. I’m sorry you and your husband were ill. Praying that you both heal well. Happy Stitching 😊
🦋 Thankyou so much for your kind well wishes. Mr H and myself are pretty good now. Vonna is such a lovely soul. The start of video # 106 “Life is Full of surprises”explains my return to RU-vid! Happy Stitching and Blessings sent. xx:):)🌹
That Tablecloth is a work of Art...and the Rug ...WOW....you have so much down....I'm so happy your Husband is doing better....I have been lucky enough not to have caught the virus.....I have all the Vaccine and booster.....6 in total, but I never go anywhere or see anyone.....I have been Quilting and stitching alot to, but your on fire.....your needle is flying.....so happy to see your video and update....please take care and be safe
🦋 Thankyou so much fellow shellite, we don’t go anywhere either, but we had some plumbing work done at the back of our house, so it could have been contact with them. That’s the way it goes I suppose. I am very glad to hear that you are enjoying your creativity and I wish you all the good things both now and in the future. xx:):)🌹
HI! I have only recently found your channel and I'm a new sub! I really enjoy your videos. I enjoy your down to earth Aussie attitude and your sense of humour! Your stitching is amazing! I totally agree about the opinions of aida...i prefer it over anything else. I will have to keep an eye out for that magazine, it looks fabulous, thank you for showing!
🦋 Hi Sandra and welcome aboard and thankyou for joining me. I hope that you are enjoying your stitching and that 2023 will be a great year for you! xx:):)🌹
Mary Rose so happy to see you! Thank you for sharing fancy boots! I am still working on my haed! When I get it finished my next project isn't going to have any black thread!🤣 Pray both of you take care!
🦋 Hi Barbara ~ I hear you on the black thread. I have lost count of the number of times I have nodded off stitching black on Fancy Boots! lol. Dark colours tend to have a very relaxing effect on me. Happy haed stitching! xx:):)🌹
It’s is so lovely to see you again. Glad to see you are both on the mend. I just love your videos. So full of beautiful stitching, wonderful anecdotes, useful information, scattered with a little spunk and the love and respect you have for Harlequin which I’m sure is reciprocal. I always appreciate your honesty and humor. Thank you for sharing with us.
🦋 How lovely of you to share such kind words. Thankyou so very much. I hope that 2023 is going well for you and that you enjoy the richness of life’s Blessings which you richly deserve. Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
So glad you and Harlequinn are doing well. Fancy boots is beautiful. I have watched some documentaries recently on Wallace Simpson. Her Hands written letters that were found. I wonder if you have watched them. They are on RU-vid. Recently deep diving Leonardo DaVinci codes embedded in his painting . Sending you both light and love🌻❤️🌻❤️
🦋🌻 Hi lovely Cindy. I have seen your picks from the market and I like that little town piece. It is quite quirky isn’t it?! I have also seen the documentary that you mention. Haven’t seen the DaVinci codes though! You’ll be knee deep in your garden soon, and I hope that all of your gardening plans go very well for you. I bet the birds around your place adore you, the way you care for them so well through winter. You do do much good without even knowing that you do. All the Best and love from Harlequin and I xx:):)🌹🤹♂️
I was thinking of you the other day and wondering what you had been up to. I so enjoy your videos. You make me laugh and I love your positive attitude. You stitching is beautiful and is really coming along fast! Harlequin does a wonderful job on the editing etc. also. So glad you are both on the mend. My husband and I both had Covid last year. Nasty bit of illness. And we both had all our shots. Take care. All the best till next time.
🦋 Thankyou so much for sharing Linda. I think these later strains of covid although nasty, are a lot less virulent than the first version of it, so we consider ourselves very fortunate not to have caught the Delta strain that has been replaced by omicron which in turn is now replaced by yet a milder form. I hope it keeps going that way! Look after yourselves. Happy Stitching and Bless you and yours. xx:):)🌹
Great job on your video and chat 👏 👍 your stitching and projects are great 👍 and Harlequin is great at editing and I say so much more great job to the both of you. 👏👏
🦋 Miserable is a very good way to describe it Lynn. The only good thing about it is that you feel so much better afterwards! I very much echo your thoughts ~ the tablecloth! I cannot put that whole piece down! Happy Stitching! xx:):)🌹
Great to see you again. Fancy Boots looks fabulous. Sorry to hear you had COVID - I think everyone has it slightly differently, although it’s severity does seem to be lessening which is good. I love the Film Shadowlands, I think Anthony Hopkins is a really good actor. Your kit looks lovely although I have had bad experiences with Design Works kits. How neat for the hoops to come with the mini screwdriver I usually end up hurting myself as I use too big a screwdriver to get the hoop nice and tight, which is why I predominately use my 6” blue plastic hoop that has the grip feature on the inner ring. Hope to see a video from you soon as they are always so enjoyable. Take care 😊
🦋Hi Lisa, that plastic hoop with the grip sounds like a very good idea. I agree about Anthony Hopkins. He is such a talent. He played Mussolini in a film I saw once and he was very good in that. I had the box of tissues at the ready for Shadowlands! I hope your stitching plans are going well for you. xx:):(🌹
🦋 Beverley ~ 2 strands over 1 as a rule. However I do sometimes stitch 1 over 1 in the background of some full coverage pieces in order to give an impression of distance, and I think the cover is quite good. I am thinking of stitching the window panes on Fancy Boots 1 over 1 for that reason. xx:):)🌹
Hello Mary Rose! Nice work...and i"m so glad you got through that nasty sickness. We had it last winter and it really took it out of us for awhile. We are in our mid 60s and were not vaccinated but we survived just fine and didn't go to the doctor either. We were prepared with things at home and did ok. I guess I'm a tough old bird after all! : ) ❤🌹🌹🌹❤
🦋 I think us baby boomers were brought up with a fair amount of tough love and the freedom to roam that has long disappeared. I consider myself privileged to have lived through the era that I have and would gladly have stopped the clock either in the 1950’s or the 1970’s. It’s all been downhill since then as far as I am concerned and I am mystified with all the nonsense that is going on today. Never mind. As long as I can stitch my sanity will remain intact! Lol Happy Stitching! xx:):(🌹
Hi Mary Rose ,l am so glad that you are both ok ! Nasty thing this Covid ,l was sick for a fortnight .your fancy boots cross stitch is absolutely stunning ,what a lot of detail it has in it ! But so worth the time and effort that you have put into it .happy stitching Mary Rose ! How many hours a day do you spend stitching to get as far and as much as you achieve?🥰
🦋 Hi Beverley and thankyou for joining me. I suppose you can say that I divide my stitching day up into a morning session, an afternoon session and an evening session. The time allowed for stitching varies according to what other things are on for that day. I do like painting birds with water colours, but in recent years stitching has vacuumed up the hours that I used to spend doing that. Maybe after Fancy Boots I’ll be able to get the brushes out! Lol. Happy Stitching to you xx:):)🌹
It's an absolute joy to see you Mary Rose😀. Sorry to hear of yours and Harlequins brush with COVID. Fingers crossed and touching wood I don't think I've had it. That's probably due to me not being around many people! Fancy boots is coming along beautifully, the detail is amazing. I found it very interesting to hear about the QC KC. I live in England and it never filtered in my brain(I am so dense lol). It certainly is interesting to be living through these times. King Charles is being a lot stronger than I thought he'd be, but then again he's been bought up to be King. I wish him all the best, and hope he has a good long reign. Take care my dear, and I hope you have a peaceful 2023.😀. Please don't leave it too long before we 'meet' again🤗🇬🇧
🦋 Hello to you and Thankyou for your company and for sharing. King Charles has so many challenges, and I he does seem to be a kind hearted person. I think William is an old soul and has great wisdom to help his father. Charles must be so proud of William who very much reminds me of the late King George VI, having many of his fine attributes and Kings George, Charles and Prince William all being blessed with wives fully supporting and loving them. It makes such a difference I think. Happy Stitching until we meet again.xx:):)🌹
Good to see you. Sorry you got COVID. Sounds awful. Am finally reading all the Harry Potter books. Only read the first two about 20 years ago. Well, my sister & I have this book club thing going. She has ready HP 3 times. So she read them all again w/me & our next book is Gone w/the Wind (I have read 3 times), she never has. So, reading & stitching is my whole life now. Take care. Fancy boots is a masterpiece.
🦋 Lovely to hear what you are up to Jeanette. Reading and stitching should keep you out of trouble (or will it!) lol Look after yourself and many Happy Stitchy/reading times to you and your sister. Gone With the Wind is one of my favourite films. I bought “Southern Social” to stitch it its honour, but no action there so far! xx:):)🌹
I am happy to hear you abd your husband are on the mend from covid. I enjoyed the stitching catch up. Your Fancy Boots is amazing. It reminds me of a tapestry, in the way it is stitching up. Its beautiful. Take care til next we meet❤
🦋 You are right about its tapestry-like appearance. When I stand back and look at it I can scarce believe my eyes. Quite captivating. Thankyou for your company and I wish you joyful stitching. xx:):)🌹
