I hope your migraine leaves very soon. You are a fun person to watch. We stitch very different things but you get me to thinking outside the box. That is a good thing. I quilt too, but have moved recently and haven’t really gotten my room set up yet for cutting and piecing yet. I have found a new quilt shop not too far from me so that is nice. I used to work at a quilt shop in Iowa before moving to Colorado.

I know all about having a migraine. I’m 54. Up until two and a half years ago I had them every month for anywhere from one to three days. Once for ten days. I feel for you. Be well.

I hope you are feeling better now. Sorry you had to suffer through a three day+ migraine. My husband gets those about once a month so I know how painful that is. I like your Sweet Heart finish; seeing your FO makes me want to stitch that now. I also like how your Mad Hatter is popping against that grey. I wonder if anyone switched up the colors and made it more goth/Halloween; that would be so cool.

I heard something fascinating the other day from my tutor who gets Botox. She said that there’s loads of people getting it done because it stops their migraines. I had to look it up and what do you know, Johns Hopkins says it has been proven effective in clinical trials. Maybe something to consider? You have so many pretty projects! Barbara Ana designs are so fun!

I have known people who tried it- it seemed like a good temporary relief for them? I have considered the inner ear piercing as well... my coworker had that and it cured hers. That would be amazing and worth it if it worked- either route! Thanks for watching! 😊

I hear the migraine pain. God bless the saint who told me about putting icepacks on the back of your neck during the worst of it. Gera! patterns are gorgeous. I've done the Firebird and Swan Lake patterns of hers. I actually stitched that Jim Shore gnome along with a couple more (it's a series) - it was a fun stitch and they're so pretty in person, pictures never really do Mill Hill kits justice. It was part of my gnome-obsessed mother's Christmas present. :)

I am a bit jealous of your, "In the library", informal SAL, but unfortunately I don't think I could squeeze an other project, right now, in my stitching rotation! It looks fabulous by the way! Also how nice do they look, both the fabric you stitch the "Alice meets the caterpillar" on, as well as the one for "The Visitor"!!! I've already said before how much I like the one you use for the "In the library" and the one for the "Snow maiden"❣ Very fun episode as always🙂 I wish your headaches will go better and I am looking forward to next time 🧵🪡

Omg a migraine that lasts so long is cruel punishment…. Hope you’re feeling a bit less monster-y by now. We also have several sets of LOTR and The Hobbit because you know we live in middle earth so it would be rude not to! I like the sound of sci-fi July, can’t wait to see your projects for that! It is a lovely idea to use your grandmother's birthyear for her memorial stitch. When my mother passed I make a quilt in memory of her which hangs in my livinging room. It was a journy of greif making it but I am so glad I worked through it. I hope your headach passes soon for good.

Hello Laura I hope that your migraine has eased, I too have them and they are soooo debilitating so sending a healing hug. oh honey Migraines are no bueno!!! I've had them since I was 25......I found that with my light blue eyes sunglasses are a necessity! Fluorescent lighting triggers mine...and certain foods. I'm sending healing vibes. Plenty of fluids and rest!! Your stitching is amazing as always :)

I really, really like the cauldron colored fabric for your piece. The library SAL is an inspiring pattern as well, as is Snow Maiden. I’m so sorry that migraines interrupt your days. I know from experience that they can get very mean. Fortunately through trial and error my neurologist and I found a “rescue” protocol. It works well but every now and then a migraine breaks through but some of the new meds work well to end the head ache pain in a matter of hours rather than days.

You can sew through the tissue paper that wrapped the vinyl.

All good tips- I don't have the vinyl foot either so I use a walking foot to move it along. :)

I so wanted to join your SAL. I started a blessing sampler Jan 1 and it took until mid February to finish it. And I stitched it only while all my other wips were yelling at me!! Lol. Thank you for doing this video. As a migraine sufferer myself,I understand all the effort taken to do it, and in such a bright room!! Thanks, your videos are awesome.

I have the pastel garden and just started it. It’s so fun! I love that I can do the small motifs as time allows. It’s a great way to feel productive even when all you can do is a couple small pieces. I need the night garden, I love it! Thanks for being my enabler 🤣

They are plump, and smooth, and so satisfying to work with! Beautiful work on everything 😊. I really like Yasmin’s patterns - what a beautiful tribute ❤. I keep editing, because I can never wait until the end or I feel like I will forget what I want to say 😂😂 Anyway, now I need that cute Forest pattern too. Am I done…. We shall see 😊
