Julie, as you were showing your Star Wars piece and mentioning how those are “your” colors, I truly believed you, because the colors in your shirt were the exact same colors in the background of the stitching. Not to mention those same colors are echoed on one of your bookshelves. You’re not kidding! 😂 Great video, thanks!
Thank you for saying the comment about WIPS and the number one might have! I have about the same number of WIPS you have but I think closer to a hundred with 8 banker boxes full of charts i have kitted ready to start. Why? Because if i love a piece and dont get it could be a lost opportunity later. Yes, missed several that i loved, never to find again. I also stitch full cover projects of which i have at least 40. Do you see my craziness? Love it all and did donate over 16 boxes of charts before we moved many years ago. I have been stitching since 1976.
As long as you’re happy, I say live and let live! If that many stresses you out, don’t do it! I have hundreds kitted up - I won’t even bother to count. I also buy and kit up for fear of not getting it later and to be ready when I new start is calling.
Julie, you are such a trip. I also caved to the artsy housewife patreon for the same reasons....and I'm loving the stitch! Yours looks fabulous on the tornado. I bought my first zodiac girl for my daughter's bday start (cancer) and I'm totally blaming/thanking you for that one 😂 all your wips are awesome, and I do love hearing your book talk 😊

Oh my gosh Julie, I honestly think we must be physically linked. I’m in Liz’s Patreon and instantly pulled out True Blue to kit up the June chart too when I saw it. Plus I’m doing Artsy Housewife as well. I was resisting that Patreon but when I saw Within A Dream I joined immediately. I’m doing it on Dirt Road. We definitely have similar taste😂

I cannot remember whether I got this recommendation from you or just found it on my local library app but I have been listening to The Branded and its sequel The Rising by Australian author Jo Riccioni. Just finishing book 2 and really enjoyed it.
Another recommendation is the Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. Finished book 1, just started book 2. Not much in the way of romance and it is science fiction, not fantasy but I am enjoying it.
It’s just a cute little print I picked up at the thrift store. I thought I might use the frame for something someday but actually like the print so I just put it on the shelf
