No woman should have to come onto a public forum and have to ask people to not discuss her weight, reproductive status or financial choices unless specifically invited to do so. Just because you share your crafting, doesn’t mean that people are entitled to be privy to your personal life. Good on you for setting some boundaries. Keep on crafting and being fabulous xx

You hit the nail on the head...your viewers feel like they know you, so you're a friend and not a stranger. So, that's why they feel it's OK to ask the personal questions. One of the pitfalls of this medium. But, just because someone asks doesn't mean you have to answer. Just keep inspiring us with your crafts 😉.

You do not need to justify what you will share and talk about or not. Setting up “rules, or guidelines” for yourself is extremely healthy. Whatever your RU-vid format, I will watch. You are the very first flosstube I began watching when I renewed my interest in crossstitch. I’m now learning to juggle that craft with my knitting. I admire the way you answered these intrusive questions. Especially knowing that you didn’t have to acknowledge them, at all. Your RU-vid channel is another facet of you - like a room in your house. I’m amazed at what things people ask. You do you, you don’t answer to anyone, spend what you want, when you want. You’re not taking food out of someone’s mouth, geez. I enjoy your craft videos, I don’t knit but I’m always amazed at your knitting projects and the beautiful yarns you choose. Keep up the good work!

Liz, you are amazing! You do not need to justify your channel format or answer questions that make you feel less than your best self. Personally, I love seeing multicrafters show all their makes and interests. If it helps, I've seen others use CraftTube and Maker to label their videos for searches. I can't wait to see what your new era brings and just want to say how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into your channel. I love this video. Definitely you should stick with your boundaries. People are nuts! I personally don’t knit or quilt at this time but crochet and I think your new format is fun and interesting… most importantly, it should work for you. I am also a Gemini!!
