However, when she saw the little pillow I made she said she would “maybe” like to learn how to do that. I will take a “maybe” all day long. I lost my husband about 2.5 years ago and have been a bit directionless ever since and just need to thank you so much for renewing my love for stitching and sewing, it has given me something to look forward to every day. During the Covid years, I took a hiatus from cardmaking and concentrated on my quilting. Now for the last 2 weeks I have been sick with Covid so I started watching your cardmaking RU-vids again and to my surprise and utter DELIGHT I have discovered you quilt and cross stitch. HOW WONDERFUL I decided during the Covid years to return to cross stitch from long, long ago in the late 70’s but again quickly put it back down, I got bored with the project. Your video mentioning that you used to get the same way until you started switching projects you work on was spot on. That was my problem and you have solved it. Also, while being sick your voice is so calming and soothing and I have enjoyed so much binge watching your flosstubes. Great job and thank you so much, you are such a treasure.

Since May, following Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop, I have been working on multiple cross stitch and now am working on quilting the same way (in the past, I worked on one quilt at a time till I was sick of it). Pumpkins and a heart!! The second I saw that, I thought the person that created this chart was inspired by Nichol Spohr. Just finished my morning routine. Coffee and Nichol time!! My favorite way to start the day! My Mom is visiting and she and I are having a card making day and I’ve been showing her my “Nichol Inspired” cross stitching. Hello, hello! I love watching your floss tube videos...I just craft away while you share all the goodies! I think you like the Happy Harvest cross stitch because you talked about how much you love pumpkins when you were coloring the SSS new pumpkin die. (I LOVE PUMPKINS, TOO!) In fact, I just completed a 2' x 2' pumpkin barn quilt for some outdoor decoration! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year and I finished my Welcome Autumn SAL, have the pillow stitched and I just need to stuff it and then add the chenille when it arrives in the mail. I just saw Shannon C. show a sneak peek of her pattern last night. I think I'm a little late to the game. I just found her on RU-vid. She mentioned her dad stitches as well. I think that's great. My dad passed away this year at almost 93. When he was in his '70s and I was in my 40s we ran 5Ks together. I surely treasure Those runs. I would love to win either number 1, 2, or 3. Thank you for continuing your floss tubes I love them!
Nichol loves pumpkins!!! lol….I do too. But you use hearts as often as possible on cards….is that why you love that pattern??? It’s crazy how similar our tastes are. I would enjoy 1, 2, 3 or 4! I’m stitching the Shannon Christine Autumn Stamps. My fiancé loves to see the stitching take form so I let him pick which stamp to finish first. He picked the pumpkin truck. It’s such a fun stitch! I also ordered Welcome to our patch by Annie Beez Folkart. Holy cow I can’t wait!! Really love the Old Fashioned pattern! Not sure why you are in love with the Happy Harvest chart yet since I haven't had the chance to watch your card making videos yet, but that's on my to do list as you do such cute stuff! I think you are inspiring me to get back in to the craft room and start making cards again! I'm almost embarrassed by the scrap/card stash that I have that's been abandoned for 7-8 years. Pumpkins are one of your favorites plus it has a heart, your signature finishing touch. I loved the cards you did the other day. I'm excited for the SAL really like it I'm trying real hard to not become a pattern collector (I've got 1 room stuffed with my scrapbook/cardmaking collection) My rule was limited to 3 on line sites but now that's 4 and I'm not allowed to by a new pattern until I have finished stitching the last. I finished Welcome Autumn so I'm good for your stitch along. Of course you bought the little deer twice.
