Your your framed Lovebirds is stunning!! I’d leave that out all year too and love that fabric! I think if you took some small motifs from that chart or one of her other ones then you could substitute the alphabet on spring Quaker. It is going to be beautiful no matter what you do. Love your new goodies you got in the mail. I bet your home feels wonderful having new paint on the walls and your things hung up. You have a wonderful dad! You have a wonderful week!

Your heart is just beautiful all framed! Your Quaker is almost done! Maybe you could use motifs from the other three Quaker patterns to tie them all together. There are quite a few small motifs on this piece that you could repeat, but in a different color. So many possibilities. 😊 It sounds like you and your Dad had a great visit. My humble opinion is to stitch the alphabet. Karen put it in and her designs are some of your favorites. Save time and mental stress and just do it that way. LoveBirds!!! Gorgeous. I bet it gives you a thrill to see it hanging at the top of your stairs. I missed you bunches last week. Going to miss you even more in May. Have fun on your travels and happy stitching. For Summer Quaker, I would remove the alphabet, move those motifs down and creatively "fill in" with dups or new motifs. BELIEVE in yourself to do it - you got this!

I've stitched that Spring Rosewood Manor along with all the others. They all hang together. The alphabet looks perfect, and I wouldn't leave it out.

I loved seeing Cat Alphabet again - love that piece. Lovebirds is gorgeous. And the frame is perfect. Remove the alphabet and fill in with other motifs. You can do it. I just love your finished heart sampler. The frame shop did a really good job! I also heard from Fox and Rabbit that they are going to be Acorns and Thread on Friday April 28th. Have a great time with your family and at the Garon Retreat!

On summer Quaker, maybe add a vine with really small flowers and then some leaves going across. I think that would look really good! But whatever you do it will be beautiful!

I'm so pleased you and dad had a great and productive visit. For Summer Quaker, could you take some of the smaller motifs and add them to the bottom? I know you would have to think about placement but that might look better than adding a border. Love birds looks fabulous in the frame with the matting. Can't wait to see you in 23 days 19 hours!

Lovebirds is GORGEOUS! For Summer Quaker (I will be stitching it at some point too lol), I would leave out the alphabet and put your initials and the year at the bottom and repeat some of the motifs from higher up like the bees, some leaves from the top right, some small flowers.

On Spring Quaker, just following your own logic, if you are taking out the alphabet because the others don't have an alphabet, then you probably shouldn't put in a border if you the others don't have a border. I brought up Google images of all 4 quakers side by side and the alphabet really does look great. I would leave it and stitch it as it is charted. Thanks for clearing put the belly-stand method of stitching on a large Q-Snap. I love seeing how other people do things. I prefer stands if I'm not stitching in hand. Haha! I also don't use my office. I use the dining room table because it's near the coffee pot!! You are truly a woman after my own heart. Have a good week!

I love seeing cat alphabet. The colors and that mouse-too cute! I would stitch some of the small motifs from the pattern, but in some colors from the piece that are slightly different in your Quaker.

Hey there friend! Welcome back. We missed you so much last week. Wow, doesn't even seem like anywhere close to 2 years since you moved in there. I am so glad you had a good time with your dad and enjoyed the time together. Very happy that you won't have to go in to the office for the most part for the next 5 months. I love the way Lovebirds is FFO'd, the tonal elements are perfect for that piece. You will have to do a stitching on the wall tour since your dad has hung so many pieces for you. Are you going to be able to see Bren and Karen while they are at Acorns and Thread on 5/12? I rest my stuff on my boobs but have gotten used to using my stand for my HAED and doing 2-handed stitching so am looking for a good frame for hoops to sit on my desk or the small table I keep next to me that isn't too much money. That first block of Spring Montage is huge! Wonderful progress on Stained Glass Window. You are so close to having the huge motif completed on Summer Quakers. I love Cat Alphabet so much! Fabulous birthday gift from Andrea. You are going to be busy next month! You must have a break from both schools in May since college graduation usually always happens in January or May, or at least it did in Michigan. I am working on my stamped cross stitch for the acrostic, last thing to do to get everything completed, and I am not enjoying stitching with 3 threads at all. I am going to try a third different needle and see if that helps. It is really bothering my previously fractured hand to pull that hard to get the thread through and the previous needle was a blunt (how dumb is that to provide a blunt needle for stitching on percale type fabric?) instead of a sharp and I think the eye is too small on the current needle. It is also with Charles Craft thread so I am having to use thread conditioner on it so overall slow progress on it. Walter is sick again with a very croupy sounding cough, fever, runny nose and was just generally miserable this weekend. I did finally take him out for a walk late Sunday afternoon and, of course, he made his way to the playground since he knows every route to take to get there. He was not happy to leave the playground when his mom and dad showed up. Has been a long weekend with little stitching and grandma getting worn out LOL! Happy stitching. I would definitely put small motifs across Summer Quaker.

I would do whatever it takes to make Summer Quaker the same size. Easiest would be to do the alphabet. Unless there are several small motifs that are calling to you.

Do use parking method or do you just change your thread as you go. I have a couple of HED charts and haven’t attempted as a little overwhelming as to how. Lol I guess I should just go for it. Anyway hope you have s great time at graduation and Mother’s Day. We shall miss you but we know there will be great videos when you get back. Besides it’s gardening time!

Your lovebird piece is incredible!! I'm glad you showed so much of the fabric. Not getting to have the heart mat paid off in a good direction. What fabric are you using for the bird cups? It looked like a white linen. I'm trying to decide on white or antique white and Aida or linen. There are so many colors for these small pieces. I had to purchase an additional 29 floss colors (for the 3 pieces) that I didn't have in my stash. Woah that was a lot! I did purchase the pattern from an online magazine so that encourages me to say you should show your magazines to us in case we need to go get a copy for ourselves. 😂 I enjoyed your updates today. On summer quaker I would take out the alphabet and do a floral design/border. But take that with a grain of salt since I don't stick alphabets. Lol

You are so creative, I really believe you will be able to replace the alphabet with small motifs from that chart or another chart by Karen. The Lovebirds are stunning and so beautifully framed. Having your artwork hung on the wall makes a warm, welcoming home that reflects your personality.

Your full coverage pieces so pretty , what is the basic cloth ct do you use for your full coverage. That blue rhapsody so pretty . those cloth project lap thing really nice I love 5at red box ,I will have look into it those nice gifts like Mother’s Day or birthday ones for stitchers. As far as your garden are you able to plant I. Ground in your area?. Look for perennials that you can plant make it easier. They come up every year, Shasta Daisy are great and also cornflower plants they have different colors , they hardy plants especially if winters cold , Bee balms, also plants that a indigenous to your area. , I try to plant flowers that bloom spring then some spring summer to fall.

Do the alphabet. It’s very pretty when finished which I’ve done and does not stand out. If you think about Spring has all the names of the flowers but the others don’t have words. Winter has all of the snowflakes filling the background but the others don’t have backstitched fillers. Just my opinion. Your cat alphabet is so pretty. I love all of the colors.
