This was so entertaining! Loved seeing you two together! I do have a question…Would you tell us about all the hoops you have on the wall behind you? They are so pretty and I would love to know what you have put on them!
Of course! The hoops on the wall behind me hold my enamel pin collection. I got into collecting them 5-6 years ago and needed a fun way to display them. I like this because I can easily move them around, the pin backs stay with the pins (vs on a cork board where they do not) and I can easily add more hoops if the collection grows. This would also be a fantastic way to display needle minders! I only have a few of those and they are stuck on my metal craft cart! I will try and remember to share a closer look at the hoops in a future video.
I will absolutely share my colors when I get my seaside tiny town done. I am waiting because I have changed things a couple times since starting so I just want to be sure my color conversion is accurate when I share. ❤️
You both are so fun!! Please make more videos together!! Always fun to giggle! ☺️☺️ Love the colors you picked for the tiny beach town, Chari! Would love to know the colors you chose! Awww....I remember Suzi Zoo! So sweet! That Angel is beautiful!! OMGosh!! Oh Sheep!!! 🤣😂🤣😂 awww....the wreath for Scout! Sooo cute!❤
Likely only an interesting story to a fellow stitcher :) But I am just catching up watching past flosstubes of yours while organizing my patterns / kitted projects. You just went over the Jack O Lantern Jubilee. I was thinking ... that is cute, I need that. :) And literally the next bag I pulled out was that exact pattern ... who knew I had that? I need to stop pattern collecting and get stitching!
HA! Well, you are not alone, been there, done that before. But hey, now you don't have to pick that one up to stitch, you already have it waiting in your stash!
Great video! I just stumbled across it today and I love it! I love your projects and ideas and especially your close relationship, I just really enjoyed the video. Subscribed! 🤩
Hi Chari! Glad to see your flosstubes! I have a question about the clock from IKEA you stitched. I bought it too but can’t remember the type of floss you used. Was it Pearl cotton? What size if so? Thanks!
For the IKEA clock, I used DMC Tapestry Wool. It's nice and thick so the numbers stand out. You could try the pearl cotton but you might need multiple threads to get it to stand out. Here is a quick Instagram video of me making the clock. instagram.com/reel/CzGu51Zg8FX/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
I tried wipgo last year ... lasted only a couple months then I gave up lol. The back of that duck finish is how all my cross stitch finishes are framed lol I wish I was as close to my sister as yall are ... my sister loves 14 hours away and she has no hobbies.
I will leave all that WIPGO stuff to Staci 🤣 . You know, the duck finish was pretty funny, and who knows who is responsible for that. But no one sees it so it's okay right? 🤣
Just discovered your channel, you gals are a hoot and half!!! Can I ask, what is Jingle bell ball and how do you participate? Also, I absolutely loved the winter deer pattern, who was the designer? Hopefully, I can get that once it's released. Feeling so inspired after watching your video. Thank you. Looking forward to more of your videos. 😊
Thank you so much! The Jingle Ball is an online event with classes, a shopping hall with exclusive charts from the designers, stitching room, meet and greets etc. You can check it out here and sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss on out on the information. thejingleball.net/ Winter deer was a design contributed to the Bauble Book by Tiny Modernist. I would keep a look out and see if they release it later this year. I know other designers did release their designs at a later date.
I loved seeing all your stitching and y’all are too funny together! The project bag you made is awesome! I have got all my materials up and ready but I think I am so intimidated by it that I haven’t started! Oh well!😅
I was intimidated by the bag too but I managed to make one that wasn't a hot mess! 😆 I need to make some more. I want to try one with a quilt block on the front.
@@Usdukes I am not a quilter either, but I managed to make a cute sheep quilt block all on my own from a Lori Holt pattern book. I want to make it a bag for my sheep stitching, I do need to do that before I stitch them all! 🤣
This was delightful. I so loved seeing your interaction and bond with your sister. Makes me wish that I had a sister growing up. I lenjoyed seeing what all you have been creating and look forward to seeing more as the year goes on. Thank you for sharing!
You two are hilarious. I actually also own quite a few lavender & lace patterns, might even have the same one. I hope you’ll post your felt stitching too.
I have a couple. I completed one, half way completed the one that Staci finished and then I found The Bride in my box. I started it but I will never stitch on it again. 🤣 My tastes have changed...also it's so much white!
Thank you! This was great - helped me get through my workout 😂. I love all of the stitches. I saw some that I want to stitch this year. You and your sister are great!
