I was watching Handworkmaniac and she mentioned Stitch West. I immediately asked about it. She said I needed to watch your Flosstube. Oh my gosh you two are a riot. I love the energy. I used to live in Ogden and before that in Malad. I went to school in Murray at a business school. I want to know all about your retreat. I am going to need to binge watch your flosstubes.

This year, we left all our Christmas decorations and tree up until January 17th!. It totally helped fight off the January dolsdrums for everyone in the house. Our Christmas cards we received are still up. Its a cheerful reminder that we are loved, we're not alone, and life is full of good things. I think it will become our new tradition.

I just went down the punch needle hole. It’s so fun, fast and easy. I love that I can use all my dmc and fancy floss.i now try to use the valdani thread. Yes once it is filled in everything squishes together. You are going to love it.you crack me up. I told my hubby, no worries, I use the same threads in a different way. Wink wink.

Debbie, great minds think alike! I just started doing punch needle as well. I checked out Vonna’s videos, and I ordered my stuff from Shepherd’s Needle. What a coincidence!! Love watching you all and excited to meet you at Stitch West April. We work at a food pantry in our area. The families are assigned a number that matches a number on a cone. The families put the cone on too of their car so the runners know who the groceries go to. Maybe that would be easier for Dave to find who the groceries go to in sun, rain, sleet, or snow. 😅

Debbie I cut my cross stitch teeth at Herrschner’s❤ I actually drove out to their warehouse sale last summer for fun. My husband said I had reached the mothership, but I don’t know, it’s comforting to browse through the catalog 😊

Check out the Woolery or Primitive Gatherings for wool for punch needle. I love it in wools. Lisa Bongean has wonderful wools.

It's the middle of the night and I can't sleep - so what do I do? Of course, I watch Deb and Keph. And I'm trying to be quiet but you too have me laughing out loud. Ohhhh, Carmel! Have a great time there. I should have been born in the 1920’s so I could have lived in Carmel when it was an artists’ colony. It must have been heavenly. There is no disputing about taste…but really? John Williams wrote the soundtracks to our lives: Jaws, Raiders, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, ET, Home Alone, Saving Private Ryan, Lincoln, on and on. I love you guys but cannot agree on this one! 😁

The Boys in the Boat book is amazing. So are the other books by the same author. He is my favorite author. His non-fiction books read like fiction. Good luck on the punch needle. I want to learn to do that as well. And I was trying to find the channel you mentioned but I couldn’t. Is it Sully….soley…souled stitches? Please share it with me.

We were in SLC to go to a play That Tues. we had ate downtown and went to a cute old bar/ pub across from the Eccles( cause we drove down early to Miss the storm😅) to pass time before the play As we walked across the street to the Eccles it was a crazy crazy blizzard! a wind came up and literally almost blew my friend and I to Farmington😂 Seriously! Crazy snow squalls just for a few!Crazy Utah weather 💚

Debbie you make it look so easy! I tried punch needle a few years ago and I was terrible 🤣! I stabbed myself several times, made huge holes in my fabric, pulled it out several times by mistake and the sound of the tool poking holes in the fabric did not suit me. It felt aggressive all that stabbing of the fabric. It gave me anxiety versus the calm I feel cross stitching or embroidering.

Prison meal - 100% a thing! I have an irrational fear of being charged with a murder and on death row...I always think about how I would survive. But chicken picatta would be my last meal, with pineapple upside down cake.
