Congratulations on your beautiful finishes!! I love them all. I like so many of your new patterns, especially the birds, flowers, and bees. I loved seeing your beautiful kitties too. Your baking looks so yummy! One tip for you, when you have a piece of fabric that doesn’t have enough room for the q-snaps, you can add some cotton fabric to the edges by just doing a running stitch by hand with some thread to attach it to your linen. This will give it more room so you can stitch closer to edges of your pattern. I hope that will help you, and you don’t have to have a sewing machine to do this. You can probably Google “adding fabric to the edges of cross stitch fabric for a hoop or q-snap sewing”. Happy stitching, and I always enjoy your videos and I look forward to them. You got me. I was watching and stitching happily. You were showing all of your beautiful patterns. You showed one with 2 cats and their Christmas sweaters (Getting Ready) I thought I would pause the video and take a peek on Etsy, maybe favourite it for later. Unfortunately, I'll never be brave enough to buy from those sites. And yes, Vivsters is a great shop (I have four of hers and will probably buy more).

Okay, seeing all those patterns you got could not have been any more fun! (Well, unless I could go buy them all myself, that is. Lol.) Not sure I could pick a favorite. But that squirrel there at the end will end up on my cart one of these days as I'd love to stitch that one for my husband. Unsolicited advise ce: try magnesium supplements?? It worked for me when I had trouble falling asleep so maybe it could help against your dreams? I don't think it can happen any negative eating Mg. But I think you answered it yourself: the rollercoaster blodsugar causing it? Love seeing your purchases. (Good thing all that backstitching stops me from adding more to my stash x) ). I know ornitologists get some kind of points for the amount of bird species they see. How many different bird species have you stitched so far? You did so well on those finishes. 🎉

Hi Laura, I was just thinking yesterday I would miss not going to the monthly Stitchy meet up this December and there you were on floss tube. A very nice substitute. I have decided that I need to watch you with a note book near by so I can jot down all I want to say to your questions and comments and put in a big comment at the end. Otherwise I would end up making a whole host of small comments through the video. I love your new patterns but I will be good because I had a very spendy Black Friday. I have new diamond painting coming my way, 2 new beaded embroidery kits and I completed my storage system for the craft room and purchased two more full coverage patterns because they were going to be retired. If you ever need beads please let me know. I am now building up quite a collection of colours. If doing the description box seems daunting could you take a picture of the list you make and add that to the end of the video. Would save you from typing the information all over again. I am going to the same retreats. All paid up for the November retreat and just waiting for registrations to open for May. In 2025 I am thinking of being brave and possibly going to an interstate retreat as well. I know there was more I was going to say but I have forgotten hence the need for a note book so I will end there. The cake looked stunning! Pity my oven is dead but I have a new one in the garage waiting to be installed. All the best and thank you for sharing.

Those Russian charts are absolutely gorgeous..are they PK compatible? I don’t have a printer otherwise I’d buy buy buy 😂 I don’t know how you can decide what to stitch with all those lovely designs. They really are gorgeous!!! No wonder I am now broke. lol. Can’t stop buying them!!! I don’t know if they are PK compatible. Sorry. But the Russian patterns usually come with both pdf and saga files. I use the saga app, which is great. Love it! 😻 And I am still resisting getting that lantern pattern. lol. I have no money left!
@@istitchbirds must look at saga, I’ve never heard of it before until you mentioned it, I could try one pattern any but if it doesn’t big I can easily get it printed, just can’t ask my neighbour to print reams and teams of pages as pdf charts are too easy purchased.. put the lanterns on your new year shopping list , last time I looked it was half price..nudge nudge…hehe!

Her name is Ksenia Glushkova. Unfortunately I haven’t seen that pattern around for a while (I bought it a few years ago). I have tried to find the designer, but she also doesn’t seem to be active anywhere. Ok, at least I wasn’t able to find her. Maybe you will have more luck! ❤️ It is such a fabulous pattern.
