I haven't done a monochromatic stitch yet but stitching in a circle might be my first. Yours looks cool so far. You know I really enjoy spending time stitching with you every week. It's nice to see Cinnamon Stars again. If it makes you feel better, I still have Gather In in its plastic envelope with flosses, ready to start. There was something about those fall folk art feel pieces that drew so many of us in. I know it will circle around again and I'll be inspired to get a start on it. Have a great week!

I have a close circle of friends that get together once a month to stitch. I enjoy a good monochromatic piece every now and then especially after working in confetti of full coverage.

Love your weekly updates! I'm stitching my first Dimensions gold kits - a petite called Moonlit Cabin. I've finished the crosses and am on the backstitching. You were a perfect backdrop for such concentration. Can't wait for the reveal of your ink circles piece!

Hi Laura Love all of your WIPS If I was you I would just go ahead and finish Cinnamon Stars since you don’t have that much more to go on it. Whenever I get close to a finish I just go ahead and stitch on that project until I do get it finished. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🦯🧵🌊🐚❤

Another huge Fourth Wing fan here. I’m getting everything together to start Celtic Dragon - thank you so much for bringing that pattern to my attention! Your other dragon piece reminds me of Violet and her dragon, too, but to me, it’s her and Andarna. The size is right, and I can imagine them in that tender pose. Tairn is too large and too conscious of his image to show affection that openly. I love how cantankerous and crotchety he is. But if it says Violet and Tairn to you, that’s perfect. It’s going to be a beautiful piece. Thanks for leading me to patterns I never would’ve found on my own!

Hi Laura, thank you for another great video. I made a good progress on my Caterpillar cross stitch SAL, while watching you. You touched a lot of projects and made great progress! And thank you for addressing my question, you are really making me want to read the Fourth wing :D I think I've seen it recently in a bookstore and I immediately remembered you. And also...get your finishes done! 😁I have the same feeling about the weather. it is always nice during a working days but whenever I have a free weekend or a day off, it is super windy or rainy or foggy. I wanted to write something clever, but my brain is not braining today - so just circle. Happy stitching! ❤

Hi Laura. Great video. Such lovely stitching. I must give you a laugh - when you were talking about Garden of Zig I remembered that I had started it last year so decided to pull it out and join the mystery stitch along because I was sure I would not be using the called for colours. Well, not only the called for but the actual Ink Circles floss pack from Cottage Garden!!😂😂. Anyway, it’s looking gorgeous! Enjoy your weekend and happy stitching.

When you wash your piece before FFO, the holes left from frogging will no longer show. Ours is a circle of friendship united by stitches :)

Monochromatic pieces are my go to when I just can't deal with changing colors. I enjoy all stitching. You are an enabler. When I heard that Carolyn Manning was having a sale I immediately had to check it out. $30 later here I am. This circle of friends is such a blessing.

Cinnamon Stars looks nice. I have no desire to stitch any of the things I have, so I started stitching a little Christmas ornament and bought two smalls. I think I just need a break from the more difficult patterns I am working on. Have a great week.

I’m working on Gathering Clover by Luminous Fiber Arts this evening. It is monochromatic and very relaxing. I haven’t stitched anything by Ink Circles but am drawn the pattern with the squirrel tree house. To circle back, I look forward to seeing your Garden of Zig.

Your dragon looks fabulous on the fiery background fabric…I am hoping this one will be framed as it will be super showy. Love all your WIP's and your cool fabrics. I am stitching Prairie Birds by The Prairie Schooler and I am stitching it on 18 count Khaki Aida Cloth. I am also going to be starting Sweet Summer Mystery SAL by Tiny Modernist on 16 count Touch of Gray Aida Cloth. I also started Secret Garden by Tiny Modernist. I guess I am loving Tiny Modernist right now but I also want to get more of The Prairie Schooler charts. Happy Stitching.

Hi Laura! I remember when you started Cinnamon Stars. I think you had just finished Betsy's Autumn, which I loved, purchased, and have yet to start😅. Whenever I see your Cinnamon Stars, it reminds me of Betsy's Autumn, so I say...take your time with it...maybe it will cause me to get Betsy out the more I see your Cinnamon 😅. Ink CIRCLE. I do have a few of their patterns but haven’t stitched any. I am anxious to try one. I have to decide on fabric that will work for me. Do you know whether anyone sells scraps of fabric? Business or stitcher? I am so new to stitching that I haven’t accumulated scraps yet. I hope you really enjoy your stitches over the weekend and next week. We are (in Bel Air, MD) expecting rain which will ruin the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival pretty much but I plan to go on Sunday with friends and slog through the mud as best we can.

Oh my word! Connor’s going to be a senior this year in college!? It seems like he was just leaving for college, time has flown by! It was 70 here in NH today and it was just in the 50’s typical New England weather,lol. I’m doing the new Lola crow Sal.. it’s a deadly Aquarium!!! You should join, hee hee what’s one more 🙂. Beautiful stitching as usual! You'll have to let me know how you like the 22 count, I have a couple of pieces from BeStitchMe and started a project on 1 but I didn't like it, I kept finding my stitches disappearing unless I stitched a very specific way which I kept forgetting to do!

Hey Laura. Question for you on your full coverage pieces. Do you have all the flosses pulled for each, or do you pull as needed from your stash? I can’t imagine how I could keep that many skeins of floss for each pattern straight!

Laura always a nice flosstube. Your projects are beautiful. I also stitch on Aida. I have a question . Do you wash your Aida first before you start your pattern if so your method of washing ? Also do you iron your fabric before you start?
