What a lovely home visit! I really loved seeing all your progress, and all your new kits! They're all so pretty. Starting new projects is so fun and exciting! I totally failed at our Moths start. I think it's just a little too advanced for me at the moment, but practice makes perfect! I have a vintage kit in my collection I'm dying to start, so if you like, perhaps for one of your 50 birthday starts we could start a vintage kit from our respective collections together! Oh, also, I'm dying over those incredible mushroom patterns you bought! Wow!

I turned 60 last December and decided to try for 60 new starts. Well that won’t happen now, but I’m starting a lot of new projects this year! It was so nice to see you mostly happy and cheerful. Hi Laura! I'm so happy you bought that deer in the flowers kit--I've been wanting that one so much, but now maybe I can just be happy watching you stitch it! Which means, of course, that you really should get it started. Lol. I'd never seen the Wonderful North kit before, but oh my heavens, how incredibly gorgeous is that one?!! I think it was a wonderful idea to make a new 21 list! Now you can be excited about it again, and hopefully crank out a bunch more finishes. And then if somewhere down the line there's some you've grown to dread pulling out, you can make a new list yet again. And all the while you're getting lots of them finished! :) Wow--that berry wreath kit is beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Really, really love your summer project! Excited to watch it progress! Your progress on your chicken has been awesome! That chicken is just so stinkin' cute! Couldn't agree with you more about the Bothy Threads charts though--they're just hard to read. But I love them, nonetheless, as is evident by the fact that I have six of them started. lol I know you struggled with not wanting to work on Denny, but oh my goodness, Laura, I'll bet you're glad you persevered, huh? He is so completely adorable! Did you say where the mushroom patterns were from? If so, I missed it...and I MUST have them!
